Square Enix Releases New FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH Trailer
LOS ANGELES (Jan. 15, 2024) – Square Enix has revealed a new trailer for its highly anticipated RPG, FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH. Named “Destined for Rebirth,” the trailer showcases the conflict between Cloud and his comrades, Tifa, Aerith, and Barret, against the main antagonist, Sephiroth. This video is accompanied by fresh screenshots and renders of in-game characters and locations. FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH will launch exclusively for the PlayStation 5 (PS5) on Feb. 29.
New Details and Exciting Moments Revealed
“Destined for Rebirth” not only provides more information about the worldwide threat posed by Sephiroth, but also presents thrilling highlights, including the battle against the Terror of the Deep boss, the Junon ceremony, and the Nibelheim Incident. Additionally, the trailer offers glimpses of newly imagined creatures and characters like the Midgardsormr.

Fans and newcomers can explore new assets and their corresponding descriptions on the press site. These assets take a closer look at Junon, the Shinra-8 Ship that transports the party between Junon and Costa Del Sol, and various character renders. Notable characters include the witty robot Cait Sith, the Moogle steed, Shinra-8 Captain Titov, and the fan-favorite Elena. The combat styles of Cait Sith and Yuffie, as well as their Synergy Ability “Moogle Pinwheel,” are also highlighted.
