I’m confused on what this is. My daughter loved playing KH and KH 2, is this a new game or a remake of one of the first two. Will she find this different?

KH2 is like KH 1.5, meaning that its set between KH and KH2, yes its a new game and fills in on the story between kingdom hearts and kingdom hearts 2.

Yeah, If you played Kingom hearts and then Kingdom hearts two, it can be a little confusing because thre are a few parts left out, and the parts that are left out are shown in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories

Mary Maddock, KH RE Chain of Memories is a PS2 remake of the Game Boy Advance game, Chain of Memories. This game takes place between Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. It fills in gaps of the story.
