Square Enix unveiled a new Kingdom Hearts 3 Trailer at the D23 Event in Anaheim, California, showcasing Disney Pixar’s “Toy Story”. Catch Sora, Donald, and Goofy along side Andy’s favorite toys such Buzz Light Year and Woody while they investigate the disappearance of missing toys and the emergence of the Heartless. According to the official press release, the world will feature an original story line alongside new toys called “Gigas” and new Keyblades (Transformations). Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released in 2018.
“At long last, we are excited to open up the KINGDOM HEARTS universe to include the world of Disney•Pixar’s ‘Toy Story,’” said Tetsuya Nomura, Director of the KINGDOM HEARTS series. “I’m sure fans have been anticipating the inclusion of this world for many years. The narrative will be an original story exclusive to KINGDOM HEARTS III, and the gameplay will feel characteristic of the ‘Toy Story’ style and aesthetic.
