SquareElite’s Dissidia NT Platinum Contest!

In order to enter the competition, you must join our website’s forum page.  You can do so by clicking on the link here, and sign up.  Not only does this guarantee you entry in the contest, but you will also receive the prize of being part of a great community of people who enjoy the games made and distributed by Square Enix.

The next step is to officially declare your intention to participate.  You can do this by submitting your PSN username in the forum thread the contest is linked to.  It doesn’t even have to be anything fancy, like…

I, me7lingual from the United States of America, hereby declare my intention to participate in the Square Enix Elite Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Platinum Trophy Hunting Competition.  I promise to play this game to the best of my ability, swear to never cheat to earn a trophy, and give my solemn oath to always be as the Warrior of Light when it comes to treating the other participants with respect.

Yeah, it doesn’t need to be anything fancy.  You could simply say something more along the lines of…

Basically, we just need your PSN username, you region of the world, and you saying that you want to participate.

The last thing to do on your part, at least for now, is earn the trophies for Dissidia Final Fantasy NT.  The contest will run until one person has earned the Platinum Trophy for the game, or until one year has passed (whichever is sooner).  Here is the complete list of trophies for the game:

If, after one year has passed, and no one has achieved the coveted Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Platinum Trophy, then the participants will be ranked on the score of trophies earned.  Here’s the scoring used:

Bronze Trophies = 2.083 Points Each

Silver Trophies = 20.000 Points Each

Gold Trophies = 100.000 Points each

And in case you’re doing the math, that means that there are roughly 400 total points that could possibly be earned just with the Bronze, Silver, and Gold trophies in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT.  If for some reason no one receives the Platinum trophy, and there are more than one participant with the highest score, the player that score the highest score first will receive the winning prize.  So get out there and earn those trophies!

Oh, but wait!  The prize!  You want to know what that is you’ll be playing for.  The base prize is a $30 (or equivalent – depending on region) PSN card.  This is because of Final Fantasy turning 30 years old last month.  Depending on participation, more prizes may be added at a later time.  Any alterations to prize list will be announced on the forums, and updated in this article.
