SQUARE ENIX Releases “Story So Far” Video for FINAL FANTASY™ VII REBIRTH
LOS ANGELES (Nov. 17, 2023) – SQUARE ENIX has unveiled the “Story So Far” recap video for FINAL FANTASY™ VII REBIRTH. This video will be accessible from the game’s main menu upon its release on Feb. 29, 2024, exclusively for the PlayStation®5 (PS5®) console. Narrated by Red XIII, a beast with a flaming tail who occasionally imparts wisdom to Cloud’s party, the video provides a summary of the events depicted in the critically acclaimed first installment of the FINAL FANTASY VII remake project, FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE.

Iconic Artwork and Screenshots
Alongside the video release, SQUARE ENIX has also unveiled iconic artwork featuring Aerith and the Highwind airship. Furthermore, various screenshots showcasing locations such as the peaceful town of Kalm, the abandoned Mythril Mine, and the summon Kujata, as well as the combat abilities and Synergy Skills of different party members, the Chocoboutique, and side characters, have been made available here.
Battle Styles and Difficulty Settings
FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH reintroduces the Active and Classic battle modes from FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE, offering players the choice between fast-paced thrills or more strategic decision-making. Three difficulty settings, including Easy, Normal, and the new Dynamic setting, further allow customization for both long-time fans and newcomers to the series.

Journey Into a New Adventure
FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH presents a standalone adventure set in a sprawling and vibrant world. After escaping from the dystopian city of Midgar, Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Aerith, and Red XIII embark on a quest to track down Sephiroth, a fallen hero and vengeful swordsman from Cloud’s past. Along the way, they join forces with new comrades, the spirited ninja operative Yuffie and the wise and witty feline-shaped robot Cait Sith.
