Guess I'll add on to that.
Its weeks later and now all are on the outscirts of the Fallens territory. Fallen are creatures sent by Satan to destroy the human race. They are energy feeders, that steal energy from humans to sate themselves. While they must still eat and drink they can sustain themselves for 2 months on a glass of water and up to a year without food, so long as they have plenty of energy.
Rissen, wat Zerieth is, are almost the exact opposite. They are sent from god, to repel these fallen creatures. They require energy but get it from a different source. They get their energy from nature, the land around them. While all fallen are dark, the rissen are all different types, light, air, water, fire, leaf, earth, and even dark. They become stronger when they are near their element or close to another source of power, the legendary element crystals. They are crystals, embodied from magic in the different forms of nature. They are the rissens greatest treasure, and guard them well. When brought together with the right spell, they create the ultimate weapon, The Ultima Crystal. The one who posseses that is able to dominate over every thing around them. The Rissen know that power corrupts and thus keep the crystals serperate.
Also all rissen and fallen are able to use magic and are classed on how well they can control the art. Peons are citizens with little or no control, neutrals are able to use some magic but nothing over begginer, Knights have good control but not anything special or above average, Lords and Ladies have close to perfect control and thats what zerieth and his gf is. Their are only 2 monarchs on each side, who have perfect control. Obviously the lords have it easy but u have to be good with a weapon as well. Fallen use scimitars and evil crossbows while Rissen use katanas, Rapiers, and elegant Long bows. Zerieth is a user of Katanas while his gf just has a dagger and a bow. Occasionally she will use her magic to make a better weapon but they require large amounts of energy to sustain.
This is the last thing about the rissen and fallen races. They have learned to store magic in gems, almost like a battery. They can use that magic if they need to and use little or no power themselves when using using these gems. These are the ranks of gemstones listed in how much they can hold.
Semiprecious stones: little
precious stones like saphires: average
ultra precious like diamonds and rubys: lots.
Most lords and ladies have at least a diamond and a ruby with them. others use lesser stones though. All knights have an emerald or saphire. Well thats it about the rissen and fallen. Remember, they are many times stronger than an average human.
