Saito entered the room casually, spinning his left side pistol around his finger, the trigger moving slightly. He smirked as his eyes rolled over the table and pushed his glasses up on his nose with his free hand. "A side effect for those who have poor control." He placed his pistol in its holster and snapped the leather casing shut before pulling out a cigarette from his right breast pocket and placing it to his lips. It lit itself as he held it to his mouth, as if it had already been lit to begin with.

He inhaled, the end of the cigarette lit with orange and red embers. He turned his head slowly, eventually locking his gaze on the Doctor. "Midori." he nodded as he exhaled, smoke drifting through the atmosphere. "Having fun with the new subjects already?" he snickered and gnawed on the butt of his smoke, his teeth leaving impressions in the cork end.

 

Jenny was messing around and doodling in her notebook. The foggy haze in your head was clearing up. 'I wonder.' Jenny thought, mutting out the hectic world she lives in. Jenny closed her notebook and shoved it in her bag. "Oh nice." Jenny muttered softly under her breath as she sat up, dusting herself off. Jenny looked around the room and noticed something very different about the surroundings.

 

"Hey calm down Saito! You don't have to be a smug asshole wherever you go!" Akira said as she was sitting in a chair facing away from the others as she was playing with a fishbowl with a bottom feeder sucking on the side of the glass bowl. She spun the chair around facing the others in the room before putting her feet up on the table with her heels as she looked up seeing the blonde haired man and the brunette boy.

She carefully put the fishbowl down onto the table in front of her as she scrambled from her chair and walked around it to inspect the boys more carefully. "How peculiar, very odd indeed," Akira said as she walked around the two at least a few times before she went back and spun around in her chair.
"I can see nothing special about them in general. Although I will admit that I do kind of sense something off with the blonde and the brunette as they seem to me have... difficult pasts, but I will research more on that later."

Akira stopped her chair as she faced then again digging her nails into the chair arms, "Back to my point, they were just regular humans like anyone else on the planet that were wandering the streets, doing their own thing before they end up involved in the spill and were brought here," Akira commented as she twirled her hair around her finger before standing back up and looking over at her other two E-tech associates grinning, "are these "experiments" going to be lots of fun? What do you think Saito, Midori? Do you two agree with my absolute curiosity that we'll find something exciting out of these two and the others as well? Which reminds me, where are the other seven?"

Sandi looked back as Andro before whining a little to herself. "I.... Allright I'll help to see what's up with Jenny," She muttered letting go of the doorknob as she made her way back to the room and going over to Jenny. She saw that she was now drawing something before she quickly put her stuff away into a bag she had on her. "Hey Jenny, are you alright?" She asked calmly as she was so anxious to go outside now.

 

Jenny looked up at Sandi. "Heh, yea I guess. I was thinking a bit." Jenny smiled but, it wasnt too convincing. "Im just thinking. About what happened to my parents." She pulled all her hair together and put it into a tight ponytail. "Where is my family. Are they still alive?" Jenny's voice was shaking and then she just shrugged. "Doesnt matter now. I might never see them again." Her eyes were getting a bit glossy and she shook her head. "Sorry im rambling." Jenny said sincerely.

 

"Your not rambling," Andro said "Your just worried." with that he walked to her sat down and rubed her back. "I am worried to Jenny but we have to go if you want to find your ansers." then with a look of regret he said "and if you want I will leave you alone from now on."

 

Jenny stood up. "Dont sound sorry for yourself! This isnt the time! Damn!" Jenny walked to the other side of the room as she screamed this. What Andro said infuriated her and she wasnt in the mood. "Just stop." Jenny's voice was shaking and with that, she fell to the floor and started to cry.

 

Andro not knowing what else to do just went to the other side away from Jenny and sat down. with out another word he looked over at Jenny then the floor then turned and went to sleep. I don't know what else to do, he thought but fi she wants to be left alone I will leave her alone. and with that thought he feel asleep.

 

They all left, I have no idea where to go. I was just about to begin feeling lost when Sandi re entered the room. She sat down by Jenny and began conforting the lost girl, but she simply shrugged off Sandi's words of comfort and left to be alone. The boy who had helped me up looked at her painfully. They must have a past together. I thought. But this isn't the time for that.
I got up and walked over to Sandi. I sat down next to her and whispered, "Sandi, I know this is going to sound cruel but I'm staying with Midori and training. Before you ask I know that Midori has somthing to do with Marie, I saw it when I touched his hand." I held my hand up to her. "I need you to do somthing for me. I have to experiment with my power to confirm if what I saw wasn;t just a fluke. Touch my hand, and if I collapse again, please, bring me to Midori and tell him I'm staying." I tried to sound sincere, but I realize that I might have sounded demanding. I'll find you Marie, even if I have to see that horrible mans future again.

 

Sean cleared the haze of his mind. after he had addressed Rowen, he had slipped into some kind of trance-like state. he could not remember what was happening, but at least his fire wasn't burning anyone. he collapsed unto his knees. unable to stand much longer.

"Pl-please! SOMEONE! ANYONE! tell me what's going on! what's with the fire?!" already flames slowly spread across his fingers but Sean didn't care. "when can I get out?!? I WANT TO SEE KAT!!! AND MY DAD!!!!!" his hand burst into full flame, yet Sean felt no pain. he was prepared to kill anyone, as long as it meant he got some answers.

 

"Well, I would say that the sparring Midori wants you two to do is to see what is your limits, strengths, and possible weaknesses," Akira said as she put her finger into the water and swirling the water around in the fishbowl. She looked up at the two before sighing a little bit, "We just want to know what you are capable of. If you think about it, it's pretty simple!"

She sat up for a moment as she pulled her finger out of the water with a trail of water dripping off of it. She smiled before she released her hold and the water splashed back into the bowl. "Although I really want to do my tests of my own on you lot, that can all wait for another time since I'm not entirely ready to see who would break under pressure first," Akira said with a grin as she looked at her completely dry fingers before getting up from her chair.

"In a sence you can say, that Midori just wants to make sure that you also get comfortable with your new-found powers and find a way to control it," Akira finally finished commenting as she walked around and leaned against the edge of the table looking at the new test subjects. "So, any idiotic questions from either of you two want to ask before we begin with your procedures?" Akira asked as she pulled the fishbowl closer to her with a smile beaming on her face.

Sandi was about to grab Hatori's hand with no sudden thought before she looked over at Sean seeing him freaking out again. "Look, calm down for a moment. Doctor Midori, the guy who had us sealed in here told us that if we wanted some answers and to help with our powers to go follow him through the next door," Sandi said as she quickly got up to her feet and went over to the open doorway pointing to the right, "He said that he was going to help or something like that."
Sandi knew that she was saying nothing but her own little twists on Midori's statement, but whatever calmed Sean down, she just hoped it works.

 

Will gripped the table so hard that his hand started to leave an imprint in the table as the changes started to finish. "Yeah, why does he want us to fight besides limits? Is it to the death?" He asked, standing and stretching, his back cracking loudly. He then stretched and prepared to fight the boy with the katana. Knowing that the boy had a sword he would have almost double Will's reach, but he would be slower than straight punches for speed shots but if he swung alot more power could be channeled into the blow.

 

Sean continued in his rage. he was becoming blind to the world around him and the angrier he got the more the flames covered his body. he was sinking into his hate and anger. but he couldn't stop himself. on the inside he was scared out of his mind but his mind was detatched from his body. he was hardly in control of his own actions.

NO! what if I hurt on of the others!!!! PLEASE ANYONE HELP ME!!!!!!! though this is what he said in his mind all that came out was a loud roar.

 

Sandi reached out to grab my hand, but stoped at the last minute when the other boy, who was previously asleep, began screaming. I stared in amazment as he became engulfed in fire and skitered away from the remainer of us left in the room. His eyes showed a wild fear and he roared in frustration as he tried to back away from us as best as he could. i could feel the immense heat coming off of his body as the flames grew hoter with each scream. I have to calm him down or he'll kill us all. I stood up, ignoring my previous desparation and stared the Sean down. "Sean," I said. "It's okay." i tried my best to sound reassuring, despite my own fear. I slowly reached out a hand to the Sean. "We understand that you can't control yourself, and that you don't want to hurt us. Right now we're all afraid for you. Just take deep breaths..." I hoped that he would take my hand. In the best case scenario it would reinforce his desire to keep everyone unharmed and subconsciously shut off his flames. But most likley I would collapse again after touching him.
Sandi...I hope you can keep him together if that happens.

 

Sean was alone. Lost in his own anger. he had lost control completely, and had no means to regain it. his thought wandered to the others. he hoped none of them had died trying to stop him, hopefully they had all done the smart thing and run away. he also thought of Kat and his father. in his mind tears rolled down his face. he collapsed to his mental knees and cried out.

I'm never going to see them again! I'm probably going to die! I'll have let them all down! EVERYONE! the other eight, Kat, and my own father! though he did not realize it, his sorrow only fueled his anger. In reality, his whole body became engulfed in the inferno of his hatred. Jets of flame spouted from his mouth. from the darkness, Sean heard a small voice. It was calling his name, calling him back to reality. the haze was clearing. but Sean's mind collapsed from the stress. the flames vanished, and he fainted. the last thing he heard was a man's voice saying: "This boy, is too unstable......"

 

Saito had managed to smoke through half of his cigarrete by now, his glasses sliding down his nose. He pushed them back up into place. "No, no, no. If you fought to the death, then we would be wasting your talents." He smirked and began spinning one of his pistols in his right hand. "Be careful, I don't want to shoot you for destroying this room." He motioned for them to follow him. "There will be no fighting in here, unless you want me to kill you."

He took a deep breath and started walking, his foot steps dragging as he waited for them. The smoke exited his nose and trailed behind him. "Come now, I don't have all day to baby sit. Hurry the fuck up." he sighed before taking his cig out of his mouth to flick the end of it, ashes falling to the ground. "You're more than welcome to follow along and observe Akira." He said as he turned to her, eyes a little warmer when speaking to her.

 

Akira just raised her eyebrow before she snapped her fingers. The water came out of the water bowl with the bottom feeder within the floating water stream as she walked past him. "Thanks for the offer Saito to come observe, and now I remember why I haven't tried to block the blood to your brain yet," Akira commented with a snicker as she walked past him and opened up a passage way that she was heading towards. She was about to go forward, but she looked back at the three men standing around like they were waiting for something else to happen.
"Hurry up or I'm going to tell Midori you three had heart failure and dropped dead!" Akira snapped as the water stream with the bottom feeder fish circled around her head like a halo. She was a timid woman at times, but there are just times when she can be very impatient, mostly when it comes to "testing" and "experiments".

Sandi quickly walked over seeing that Sean pass out before looking over at Ro sighing, "I'll try to keep him calm. But I can't make any promises!" As Sandi finished speaking, she grabbed Ro's hand again and noticed that she heard Sean's voice buzzing through her headphones.
I don't think I asked for her name when I heard her thoughts when she passed out for those few moments. I only remember such panic and nervous tension from her. Sandi thought to herself as she looked over at Ro.

 

OOC: just for the hell of it, I'm giving Sean a dream. nothing else I can do while he's asleep. This could also be an opportunity for Sandi to invade his mind and find a way to stabalize Sean but that's up to you Italia.

IC: Sean opened his eyes. he was in a white room. the light was blinding, but he could not shield his eyes completely. he got to his feet and looked around. before him stood a door. it was the only way out, so Sean went through it. at the other side there was a hospital room. Doctors crowded around it, and the monitor above the bed, let out a long beep. one of the doctors pounded the chest of the patient.

"NO DAMMIT! we lost him." Sean went in out of morbid curiosity to see who had died. it was his father. he reeled back in horror and fell to the floor yet he made no noise. another doctor spoke.

"Poor guy, his own son didn't even come to see him before he died." Sean cried out, but he made no sound. he fled the room tears pouring down his face. though he went through the same door he entered through he found a new room at the other side. it was Kat's apartment. she was curled up on he couch with a pillow to her chest. she was watching the news, a report on the accident was playing. Sean watched as he saw the names and pictures of the other eight roll across the screen. but when his own name and face were displayed he was claimed as dead. shock filled Kat's face and she put the pillow to her face and began to sob. Sean reached to her he wanted her to know he was alive, but as he reached to touch her the whole room burst into flames. Sean looked at his own hands in fear, but he felt his legs waver and collapse, he fell through the darkness coming to rest in nothingness. there was nothing for him now... no reason to live...he put his legs to his chest bowed his head and sat there.

 

Saito's eyes returned their gaze sharply at Akira, the frigid appeal piercing through the lenses of his glasses. "I said you could come and observe, I didn't say you could play leader." He made his way up to her and put out his cigarette in the halo of water, the liquid absorbing the entire thing most likely. "I'm waiting for the other other imbecile. No telling what he'll do with his lack of control if we leave him in here without some sort of surveilance." He paused, pushing up his glasses. "But, you knew that. Of course you did, right?"

He holstered his right side pistol and leaned in the door way, his gaze yet to leave the woman. His gloved hands folded into his arms. "That would be unwise coming from you, considering Mido would just assume you killed us." He sighed, turning his head briefly towards the boy they had been waiting for. "Perhaps he's slow in the head."
