Twin Blade Level 6 1/3 XP

After Leonardo turned down the opportunity the two users nodded and waved to him, leaving the inn. Leonardo sat back in his chair and stretched and thought to himself. "Jeez . . . I really hope I don't end up becoming one of those users where every minute I'm getting harassed by other users for friend request." At that moment he realized that he didn't have any friends in The World. It sort of made him feel even weirder considering that he really didn't socialize with the others at his school, even his team members after the games were over.

He had been a soloist for all his life. He ignored that part of him for the most part, seeing that he was a very intelligent person and handsome to beat. He didn't want popularity though, too much attention causes trouble. But then he spun in his chair and looked at the various academic and athletic awards and scratched his head, "If people could have large blobs of sweat on there heads, this would be a good time."

 

Adpet Rouge lvl 6(2/3)

Zan had got the money, he had it, and ran to the sword shop as fast as he could, when he got there he saw that the sword was still there. He cut everybody and talked to the man,"Hey Mister, please i need that blade there, i got all the money, so will you sell it to me?" Zan asked. The man looked at him and laughed"Let me guess, the blue and red sword, everybody wants that one, most low levels can't get it, but you did. SO hear you go." the man said. Zan had the blade and ran out, he yelled out loud while logging out with the new blade. His new blade.

 

Twin Blade Level 5 2/3 XP

Leonardo walked in Mac Anu and realized that he had never done anything in The World that involved quest. He looked to his left and saw an even poster and walked to it. "Huh . . . looks fun and I'm the exact appropriate level for it, awesome!" He moved his mouse over the event/quest and clicked on it.

Admin/Epitaph User: Corbenik 1st - Zeke: 15! and Zeke: 14. 1/3

Nero logged back into The World, and saw his character rise with another outfit this time.
"What the hell?" Merlin shrugged behind his PC as the world popped back again. "I didn't do that, now did i?"
The phone rang quickly after. Merlin answered it while playing the game again, looking for other disorders.
"Hello?" he asked.
"Merlin, what the hell just happened!?" it was Ruben. "My access was denied and when i tried calling you or Pm'ing you, the connection was broken every time!"
"Seriously?!" Merlin shockingly said.
"Seriously, man! What happened in there?"
".. I'm ... not sure.." Nero murmured.
"Not sure?"
"I don't know, i felt this huge adrenaline rush, and then this giant creature appeared in front of me."
As he said it to the phone he saw Zeke walking behind the new Nero in the World.
"Wow, you look different. Did you do that?" Zeke asked.
.."I'm not sure" ...

 

Twin Blade Level 6 3/3 XP

Leonardo looked about the area he was in and saw nothing. "What the heck is going on here?" he said out loud and tried to log out. He clicked on "Log out" many times but the it wasn't working properly. He even pressed "reboot" on his computer but it did nothing. In his mind he heard and echo. Tarvos still remains with more cruelty to punish and destroy. And with the turbulent destruction after the Wave. Only a void remains.

 

Admin/Epitaph User - Zeke: 15. 2/3 and Zeke: 14. 2/3

"How can you not know?" Zeke asked confused. "Did you check the manual?"
"Is there a manual?" Nero's eyes widened.
"..There should be..." Zeke continued as it set him thinking.
"Let's just leave it alone for now.. Maybe we'll notice other disorders about my character."
"Sure.. I would've liked the reward though.." Zeke murmured.

"Zeke, i'm gonna go. I gotta study for the big exam starting school tommorow" his face frowned.
After goodbyes, Nero logged out and Merlin shut down the computer.

 

As Kira kept running up the hospital stairs, he kept thinking about what might have happened. "What if he is going......to die?" As he kept running, he still had the same thought in his head. "Don die dad....... don't die!" When he finally got to his dad's room, he opened the door and said "Dad!" He saw his dad laying there in the bed breathing heavily. He looked at his son and said "Kira......" "Hows the World?" "Dad......"

 

Admin Adept Rogue lvl 6 (1/3 xp)

Hidden Forbidden Chosen One. The field was dark and dank. A cavern of sorts with rocky walls and minor greens growing at the ceiling. Salvatore had just finished loading the area and stood waiting for Gerik to appear with him. Hopefully by the end of this quest, the two of them would have two brand spanking new forms to unleash against people. The very thought of it start his blood pumping. With a smile he walked off to the side and waited. It felt good to be doing this with a friend.

 

His dad smiled and said "So, Hows the World going for you?" Kira had tears in his eyes. "Its going good dad." "Are you going to be ok?" His dad coughed and said "Yeah." "I'll be fine." "Don't worry, Kira." Kira smiled while the doctor walked in. He looked at Kira and his mother. "Can you two please step outside?" They nodded and walked out. The doctor looked at them and said "I have some good and bad news." "The good news is that the bleeding stopped and he is stitched up." "The bad news is.... that the mugging made his heart weak." "We don't know long he will survive." Kira eyes froze in horror.

 

Adept Rogue lvl 6(3/3xp)

Ken was walking down to dinner again, he was kinda hurt and tired, even if you die in the World you dont die but you can still be tired and hungry and hurt. His brother was playing the Xbox, he was playing Heavenly Sword it looked like. "Hey bro, i was wondering if you like want to go out to eat. I mean i'm kinda thinkin take out maybe. His brother looked back at him. "Sure, why not, you got money for it then sure if not then too bad." his brother told him, So Ken walked away mad and made a sandwich.

 

Adept Rouge Level 5 1/3

Gerik followed through the portal with Salvatore. He was thinking of how fortunate he was today. He just started playing 'The World' and already he had a friend, gained a few levels, and could possibly recieve his first Job Extension before most Adept Rouges.

He saw the field materialize around him. He looked around, seeing Salvatore. "I believe this quest should be simple enough for the both of us. So glad this one isn't a solo quest. Then odds are by the time I trained to be good enough, it'd probably be over with."

 

As Karite appeared in the area, he looked around at everything. The field was empty save for a tree, the Chaos Gate, and two other players. Karite pulled out his scythe and walked up to the two. "What's the quest?" he asked. He kept his scythe ready in case he had to fight.

Nero woke up as the school bell rang again. "Uuuwgh.." he murmured and opened his eyes, only to stare at the confused look of the teacher. "Were we sleeping Mr. Merlin?"
"I believe so, sir." Merlin said and the class bursted out in laughter. The teacher couldn't stop to laugh a bit. "And, had a good nap?"
"Mwaah, it works better when i'm not disturbed by the sound of a ringing bell." The class laughed again.
"Good, i'll expect an essay on that nap tommorow, though."
Merlin sighed

 

Adept Rogue lvl 7(1/3xp)

Ken was eating when his mom walked in, she looked tired. He got up and gave her a big hug, the biggest he could, it always made her happy. "Thank you honey, i need that today." His mom told him. He smiled, Chris walked in and gave their mom a hug as well. "Mom, dont worry about the bills, i paid off most of them." He told her. "Hey Ken, get the phone book, i think we could eat take out today, or pizza, which one mom?" He asked her.
"How about pizza, i could go for some, i think one will do for the three of us." She told them. They order the Pizza and it would take 20 mins to get here or more cuase they had to make some more. So Ken ran up to his room, the World was waiting.

As Merlin's attention faded away from the teacher again, he started to think about the appearance change of his character. He pulled out a sketchbook from his backpack as he decided to draw it.
When it was almost finished, a paper ball was thrown against his head. He quickly looked to the right, only to see Ruben signing at him. "Show me.." He whispered. Merlin held up his sketch of his character. He took it back and wrote something on the next page.
'Dude, he leveled, though i didn't do anything! Maybe he has more powers now.' it said.

 

Twin Blade Level 7 0/3 XP

Leonardo felt a deep rumbling in the ground and he fell back on his bottom. His screen inverted into different colors and a ear piercing screech resonated in his visor headset. "What the hell is going on here?" he shouted and looked about in the darkness.

The screen bleeped on and off ERROR ERROR ERROR ERROR.

 

Kira looked at the doctor and said "You're wrong.... YOUR'RE WRONG!" He then started running off as Kira's mom said "Kira!" She tried going after him but the doctor put his hand her shoulder and said "No." "Let him take his time." "Its the only way for his heart to calm down."

Kira kept running to the roof of the hospital. He layed by the wall of the staircase that lead downstairs and started crying. "Dad...." "No this can't be." "It just can't!" He slammed his fist against the wall and kept on crying. "I don't want this to happened!" " I don't." ".......Damn this reality." "Dammit!"

The rumbling got more intense and Leonardo began to get fearful of what was going on. He closed his eyes as another painful screech echoed in his ears. After he opened them the rumbling ended. He heard something behind him and turned around. He saw strange things floating in front of him. They seemed to be eggs of some sort. As he looked at them, names began to slowly chant in his ears. Skeith, Innis, Magus, Fidchell, Gorre, Macha, Tarvos, Corbenick...

 

Admin Adept Rogue lvl 6 (2/3 xp)

The black haired Adept Rogue agreed. These events didn't occur often so they were lucky. Even better was that the field wasn't set too high. Couple that with their amendable team work, and their quick level gaining earlier, and they were already moving up.

Power... I'm finally getting power. The power I need to forever change the person I am. He smiled slyly to himself as he turned to face Gerik. In the most confident tone, he said, "Gerik, my friend, after this we should see about setting up a guild shortly. If we train like hell, and put in our blood, sweat and tears, we could start a guild to rival Moon Tree or Kestral!" It was a pompous boast at the very least. Both Moon Tree and Kestral were rivaling guilds, and among the most powerful. Each of them reflected a very radical version of players.

Moon Tree was a pacifist type guild that despised P.K.s and P.K.K.s alike. In their eyes Player-Killing was nothing more than a barbaric style of playing a game. A game that could be used to further improve peoples lives by supporting others through unity and friendship. Though they typically didn't fight back. Hence their pacifist ideals.

Kestral, on the other hand, was a "pass"ifist guild. It was a group of men and women who lavished in the idea of P.K.ing mainly. Their motto was pretty much the same as: "The weak will be weeded out from the strong." Though the guild leaders were rumored to hold no hatred between the each of them, their guild ideals were the source of problems.

Another reason his idea was pompous was because of the sheer size. When guilds reached a certain number of members, CyberConnect gave them their own field for an @Home.

Shaking his head, Salvatore smiled sheepishly to Gerik, "Sorry about that. I get a bit too excited. Though it would be nice to start a guild."
