The Way To Dusk

At the palace, the two men fought. It was only destiny that one of them was gonna die.

"Nero, you're hurting innocent people! Remember me! Remember?! Yes, Ansem did cause us harm, and if I did get the chance, I WOULD GO BACK AND KILL HIM! But, killing his offspring would make no sense! Semnax was helping you! And... and... there is no use doing this...." Blitzon said as he withdrew his sword.

 

A voice echoed through the darkness, "Aw come on Semnax. Surely you aren't going to give up that easily. I thought you were one to continue on. But, since you guys can't believe that you can get out, I suppose I have to help."

Gerik walked out of the lab. He was heading towards the fight between Nero and Blitzon, "He's gonna get himself killed. He needs my help, that's for sure."

 

*Yeah, it's him.*

"Well, let's just say I'm a friend," The voice said as a figure came out wearing an organization cloak, "I gotta admit, these things are useful for keeping the darkness away from a heart."

 

Semnax looked at the man, "It's you? So what are you doing here?"

 

"So that's how you treat people? That just isn't right. Maybe I shouldn't help you," Voltair laughed, "But then again, I don't blame you. I'm much different than what I was before."

 

"Sorry, I just have alot to think about it. I have a question for you? What do you know about a man named "Nero"."

Nero laughed, "Blitzon if you killed Ansem then Semnax would have never been born. It appears that you have hatred toward Semnax aswell."

 

"Nero? Well, it's a long story," Voltair told him, "Of course.... Wait a sec.... You let him out, didn't you?"

 

Semnax sighed, "Yes, I wanted to give him a second chance."

 

Voltair sighed, "Why did you do that? There was a reason why Ansem locked him up. Of course, there was also a reason why Ansem was told not to do the experiment in the first place."

Gerik made it to where Nero was, "Hey, Ansem was a great person. Don't you ever think different."

 

Nero looked angry, "I want to se Semnax die a slow painful death, I want his kids to be burned alive and his wife becomes my bitch."

 

"Is that even possible for you now?" Gerik asked, "Nevermind. Tell me Nero, who's fault was it that you are alive right now?"

 

Nero looked even more pissed, "Shut up. I just want Semnax to die. I want him to suffer and I almost got his little whore of a daughter ealier." Adam ran into the room and said, "Call my sister a whore one more time and i'll send you to hell personaly."

 

Gerik sighed, rubbing his head, "Okay, either you leave Semnax and his family alone, or I'll kill you here and now."

 

"Come on Gerik. Have'nt you noticed he is a total ass. He listens to no one and he acts like he's the boss. You have to have some sort of hate toward him. Just like Adam secretly feels....." Adam interrupted, "Shut up."

 

"So what if he does?" Gerik asked, "That's just the way he is. I can't change that. And besides, the real Ansem is long dead. There is no use in going after him. But, what if you were to try and find the real cause to your current state of being?"

 

"And who might that be? I can't kill Ansem. So who is alive today that I can take my revenge on besides Semnax."
