The Way To Dusk

Jaxx shook her head, "Look I didn't come to reminiss with you and I'm on a time limit so do you want my help or not?"

Kat smiled, "I'm sure I will... I sort of promised him I would see him again and It's kind of a habbit of mine not to break a promise."
(The Assasin curse still holds her to strong enough promises)

 

Jaxx nodded, "I may be able to help you out with your issue about the password to Ansem's computer. And as for the lab, I think it means the one you and I found last time I payed you a visit."

Kat smiled a little, "Yes I'm sure he's seen Amelia since I last saw him. Jaxx is still a princess of heart in a way. She felt it when the doors opened."

 

Jaxx shook her head, "Uh... I don't really rely on darkness anymore. It seems to fail me when I need it the most."

 

Jaxx heard Gerik's question and looked at him, knowing that Kat wouldn't be able to answer the question, "Because darkness and light are not as black and white as some may think. It's how you use them that makes the difference. Voltiar may be made of darkness but he never let it control him and he never lost himself to it. Because of that, his light was enough to let him see what he wanted most. Much of his darkness was reduced and taken from him when he opened Kingdom Hearts."

 

Kat sighed and answered Semnax, "Ok ok hold your horses a little 'your magesty.'" she said with a grin. She pulled out her keysphere and tossed it to Jaxx who caught it without even looking at it. "I think you know well enough how to use it." she said to Jaxx.

Jaxx nodded and focused on the sphere in the palm of her hand. It glowed for a moment and then there was something that almost looked like a dark portal a little ways away from the group. But it looked different instead black and dark colors, it was bright blue. "Light corridor." she explained to Semnax when he looked curious. Then she looked at Gerik, "If you step through first then the place you want us to go will be where the other side of the path opens for the rest of us as well."

 

For the first time since they got there, a hit of a smile appeared on Jaxx's face. "Well basicly it's not all that advanced. The assasins have been using them for years because nobodies can't sence them." she explained.

Kat nodded, "And we liked to keep to ourselves. Only verry few people outside the assasins knew about them." she held up her keysphere once before placing it back in her pocket

 

Jaxx shrugged, "...It's a long story." she said shortly. "Her eyes probably give it away though... that and her attitude."

Kat was watching Gerik intently on the computer. Her bright hazel eyes flashed once to Jaxx. She knew that the were talking about her. She suddenly flipped them off with an almost playful look on her face and then continued watching the computer screen thinking of ways she could help Gerik with his password.

Jaxx rolled her eyes and looked at Semnax as if saying 'Figured it out yet?'

 

Jaxx glared, "Ya and that's not the worst thing about her either. Basicly she's like a sister to me right now even though I should hate her. It's a long story but she and I have a common goal and she seems to think she owes me some kind of debt..." a tear appeared in her eye and she wiped it away irritably.
