The Way to Dusk 2 RP

Voltair was leaning against a lamp post near Will when he opened up another portal. "You're not gonna find her there. In fact, you won't be able to find her in any world you know about."

"Funny how I probably have alot to do, and yet I'm here taunting and helping people as they look for Jasmine. I wonder if Kat will mind. Last time she caught me slacking like this, she sure got mad." He thought to himself.

 

Voltair moved away before the spit got to him. He followed Will. "Even if you do learn about all the forgotten worlds, just as Gerik did a few hours ago, you won't be able to reach them. Your portals can't go to worlds where you don't know their location. And these books don't have the location. And neither does the computer. But you can blame that one on my laziness."

Standing in the middle of the ship's hanger-bay was a hooded figure.
He smiled and released the drawstrings on his hood.
As the hood fell, he looked at Will.

"Salutations . . . Will . . ." He smiled slightly as the Sun pelted Aeon's face with light, revealing what time had done to him. "It's nice to meet you, Semnax must've been full of greatness to have you on his side."
Aeon slowly moved closer to Will. Ag had effected him . . . painfully.​

 

"I dunno." Voltair said. "I already know where Jasmine is. And I believe I'm supposed to be really busy right now. And not everybody who's looking has been pointed in the right direction."

Gerik sat in the pilot's seat, looking out at the vast expanse of space out in front of him. He sighed, thinking about what he'd do if he found Jasmine. "Stop it Gerik. There is no if. You're gonna find her. No doubt about it." He wondered what to do while he was flying towards his destination. He thought about practicing some kind of conversation. He then got up and put his cloak back on and flipped the hood over his head.

 

The computer on the gummi ship started beeping. "Atlantica now approaching." It announced. Gerik looked down at the screen and saw an image of the world getting closer. "I'm almost there. Let's hope she's here."

 

The ship was preparing to land on the world. Gerik looked out the window and saw the beach he was going to land on momentarily. The walkway off the ship extended out as the ship was landing. When Gerik got to the end of the walkway, and the ship touched the ground. He got off and looked around. He saw the endless ocean in front of him. "Jasmine!" He yelled. "Are you here!?"

He had a book from the ship in his hand. He looked through it and found Atlantica listed there. "The majority of this world is located under the sea. Magical transformation into a sea creature (Usually a merman or mermaid) required to explore." Gerik read out loud. "Sea creatures are ruled by a monarchy of merpeople. There are two entrances to the main castle: The front gate located at the town, and a secret tunnel located near the sunken ship."

Gerik had only guessed that this book was written hundreds of years ago. He doubted that anybody had visited this world recently. Mainly because this world was one that the common person never heard of. Gerik thought about how he'd manage to transform into a sea creature. He remembered that his clothes and cloak were supposed to be magic, gaining their power from his heart. He stepped into the water, feeling how cold it was. "I hope it get's warmer than this." He said out loud. He then ran into the water until only his head was still out of the water. His body felt strange. He looked down and saw magic swirling around him, transforming him into a merman.

"Goddamn heartless.... who do they think they are? Sending Alexander models at me and marring my baby...." Amme complained as she steered her bashed-up ship. It looked as if it had just barely survived doing three Dreadnought runs.

"There had better be a mog-shop in-" She had started, but was cut off by a warning beep of her navigation controls. A bluey screen popped up, reading "SHIP APPROACHING." with large green letters. The gummi-fanatic smiled, then sent a message to the other ship, reading - "Hey! Any chance you could help a traveler find some parts? I've got more than plenty of munny to finance a trip....."

 

Gerik heard splashes in the water. Like somebody had jumped in. He turned to the noise, seeing something swimming towards the rocks. "Jasmine?!" He yelled out. "Is that you?!"

 

(I suppose this world is as good as any for Ghira to come in.)

Ghira lay against the chair he had set up, sweating. It had taken him hours, but he had finally finished his masterpiece - A sculpture of a Spire on a beach with crystals of glass as 'sand' and perpetually ice surrounding all sides of the 'Island', frozen in just a way that they look like waves lapping onto the shore. The whole thing rested on a pedestal of marble, which he had bought specifically for this sculpture. A heart was embedded under all of it, giving an eerie glow to the creation.

But then, he heard people, and groaned. "I suppose not all good moments are meant to last..."
