The Way Back ~ Actual Thread

Dannagyathin changed into his dragon form, and chased after Will and Gandus "HE LIES, BOY! HE LIES!" He said. He swooped down and grabbed Will "No one came to help you rescue Argael, i can help you, i know your pain, i once lost somone like her, i was not always a lizard. I can help you get your revenge." Dannagyathin said. He flew for the mountains. He landed on an overhang, near the peak so Will coulden't escape. He turned back into his lizard form "I know your angry, i can help you....Will..That's right, i know who you are, i've been watching you for quite some time. For a year to be exact..." Dannagyathin said. "The princess is dead, they don't want you to tell anyone so they lied to you, it will make them look bad because the king failed to resuce his own duaghter. They were going to lock you up, trust me, i know..." Dannagyathin said.

 

Will ignored the king and drew his sword, letting his shield hang on his back. He readied his sword in case the king attacked. He could always tell when someone was lying and he knew the king wanted him to let go, fight to his extent. He may do it, but not at this time, not this battle.

 

"I don't intend to fight you. I'm trying to help you. I know what your thinking, i'm not lying boy, now, i can help you get Argael back, i know a little black magic...And if you help me, i will raise her from the dead..." Dannagyathin said.

 

Will felt his temper start to rise but he cooled it, not wanting to lose his head so soon. "Why do you want me here?" He roared, tightening his grip on the sword as he backed away towards the path. But then the king laughed. "So, you come to save her and you run the first chance you get to break her chains. Yes, she is dead but I can break the bonds of death. I can bring her back to you, you could be my apprentice and her your queen!" He said.

 

OOC: Okay, aparently i'm not leaving YET, but this will be my last post on the rp for the week.

"You've been a thorn in my side, i like that, your a powerful foe. If you join me, you'll get everything you wanted. Riches, power..And Argael...Trust me..." Dannagyathin said. He started pacing the ground while looking at Will.

 

OOC: Sorry, been gone for almost a week.

Wrath left his training place and saw that there were many dead bodies on the ground. "What happened?" He then sensed the Dragon King and Will. "What is that boy up to?' He then went into his dragon form and flew off to find his king. "I won't let that boy get in the way." "I will kill that kid."

 

"Lle lakwenien?!" Argael said pounding her fists of her father's desk as Gandus returned to the castle with out Will.

Gandus stood up from his knee, "Princess Argael, we have gotten word from the other Elven soldiers; they've taken over the camp. They said that a while ago they saw one of the Dragon King's followers fly off to the mountains."

"That's where we go, then." Argael said, calming down.

 

Wrath flew down on a spot of the forest below him and rest there. He looked up at the sky and said "Where is the king?" After a few minutes of looking at the sky he then turned his look to the forest path ahead of him. "Hmm, I guess I have to take that path to get out." "I can't fly becuase my wings are tired."

August smiled, as they sat by the river. The sun was starting to set and the clouds in the sky became pink. He looked up and suddenly had an image of a small boy of the age of 5 grabbing onto his mother's hand and the other holding candyfloss. The boy started eating it. The clouds looked alot like what the boy was eating but who was the boy?
August's face looked spaced out, as he came back to seeing the candyfloss like clouds. His head began to pound and as he held his head, the pain went away. He looked at Sy.
"Sorry, I don't know what happened there. I saw a boy eating something like those clouds. It was strange. I had this picture in my head and I blanked out for a few seconds"
He put his head down to the water and he felt the water run through his short spiky hair. It felt refreshing. He turned towards Sy.
"So, do you know where you are from?"

 

August walked with her.
"Yeah, hopefully"
He looked at the pink reflection on the water.
"So how much from the past do you remember?...have you got family or friends you remember?....I can't remember anything...."
He took a deep breath of the crisp evening air. His skin was starting to feel cold and a shiver went down his spine. He put his arms around his chest, trying to keep himself warm.

 

August nodded and ran with her. As they crossed the stone bridge that went from one side of the river to the other, August could feel rumbling from under him. He stopped and saw Sy run over to the end of the bridge.
"There's something in the water"
Suddenly a mechanism in the shape of a shark crashed through the bridge and captured August inside his mouth. There was a cage at the end of the mechanism. August was stuck inside it. It was completely covered by metal, and he could not see the outside or what was going on. The cage was two times the size of August. His heart felt like it was going to pounce out. He banged on the walls, as he heard the sound of the mechanism splash into the water.

 

Mark continued wandering through the forest, not stopping. He looked behind him. The destroyed mercenary camp was still visible. But from this distance, it looked like an actual villiage.

Mark heard some clamping sounds and people yelling. "Crap. Don't have my knives. And I don't want to shift again. What to do?" He ran over towards the sounds.

 

((Are you guys talking about the elven village?))

Argael snuck out of the castle, she wasn't allowed because the Kingdom was on high-alert, but she needed a place to have some quiet again.

Argael quietly made her way to Caelum Forest where she saw the watch-tower.
She climbed up the later and sat on a little bench. It had been where she had met Will. Her only friend.
Little transparent orb-like tears formed in the corners of Argael's eyes which soon began to shatter and fall down her face.

 

Will kept his sword ready as he circled the king slowly, his muscles remembering skills from hours of practice with a blade. "Why do you want me?" He asked, grip tightening. "Because you have raw talent, skill I could harness and use to make you great. I could make you into the warrior you were meant to be." The king replied with a grin.

 

Gandus marched out of the kingdom with a couple of Elven foot-soldiers by his side.

"We have to find that boy. He is a civilian and the Princess is counting on us." Gandus said to the men. "The Dragon-King is strong, so we're gonna have to contact the rest of the men who sabotaged the last camp."

Gandus walked over near the edge of the village where his Griffin was, along with a couple of Hippogryphs the soldiers rode. He then stopped and stretched out his arm as he looked at Caelum Forest- "Where's our ride?" He asked.

"Sir, Uuma dela." One of the soldiers said, "Some men should be arriving with them." The soldier said.

Gandus sighed, "Alright, we'll wait."

 

Will struck at the king, blade whistling through the air, only to be stopped short by another blade. The air shook with the ring of steel and the king smiled. "See? You could be a great fighter if you let me train you. What do you say William?" Will shuddered from the hissing voice and said. "You killed Argeal, why should I join her murderer?" He growled. "I did not kill her, my current prodigy did." The king hissed.

 

OOC: Curtis you don't have to do the king anymore.

IC:

Dannagyathin watched as blood dripped off his arm from when Will slashed him. "Her blood is already spilled, you woulden't be joining into somthing that's already happened. Tell me...What did you see in her anyway?" He asked
He looked down into the forest where he heard a large rumbling. "What the he-" He coulden't finish his sentance, he turned around to hear more rumbling from the mountains. He looked at Will "Dwarves maybe? But in the elven lands? That coulden't be..." He said with a confused look on his face. "There's somthing going on in the mountain...Wait..I feel somthing...from the forest...A boy...he has great power in his future...A threat to me..." He said. He looked at the foot of the mountain, he roared to signal Wraith to come up, the roar could be heard by some of the guards at the elven castle.
