The Way Back ~ Actual Thread

Wrath was now at the camp with Argeal. He took her to his bunker and layed her down on his bed. He then said "Sleep, young Argeal." He then left the bunker and made a barrier around it. He then left the camp and went into his own secret training ground. On the way, he sensed his lord coming. "Hes back."

 

When Dannagyathin got to the camp he went to Wraith's bunker and went to Argael. he looked at her "We're going to question you, then we'll throw you in a prison cell, and hopefully, your father will come looking for you, and then we'll kill him. And his men, and then you." Dannagyathin said to her

 

Will stood, running through the woods to the town, ignoring the coppery taste of blood in his mouth. He ran up to the castle gate, hopping it in seconds. He ran right up to the castle, throwing the doors open wide. "I need help! Princess Argael has been kidnapped!" He roared.

 

Wrath was in his training ground practicing with his sword and his powers. He was cut 10 trees in half with one strike. "This is the extent of my powers." "Not really." He then started charging power into his sword and sent a slash of power towards 30 trees. They were all cut in half in one slash. "Hmmph."

 

Will knew no one would help him so he went to the armory, grabbed a broadsword that was supposed to be a general's, strapped it to his bak and took off, headed to the enemy camp to save Argael. He grabbed a shield on his way out, strapping it to the sheath so it was easily accessable if he needed it. He was going to save her, one way or another.

 

Mark wandered through the woods. He held the dragonstone in his hands. "Maybe staying behind on this world wasn't the right choice. I'm too noticeable. I can't hide too well." Mark thought about events going on around the world. "Although remaining here has allowed me to see what has happened in our absence. What is his name again? The one who calls himself the 'Dragon King.' He makes a mockery of all the dragons that remain, divine or not. But then again.... What is he? I have never seen reptile creatures such as himself that have that much intelligence. Knowing magic to turn into a dragon? That is impressive. Surely it must take a toll on his energy though. Maybe he has taken possession of a dragon's soul. But what kind of dragonstone would he have stolen? A Demon Dragon?"

Argael hummed softly and broke out into another Elven melody. Summoning her Father's Roc by her side, it quickly lifted Argael up from the bed and breath fire on some of the camp ground.

It then howled a mind-shattering screech which made all the birds and critters of the Caelum Forest climb up and watch the camp in awe.

The Roc then took off with Argael on it's back. With only the flap of it's wings, it could create giant air pulses to knock down even the strongest of metals.
The Roc shrieked again as Argael and it reached the clouds in flight.

Argael stroked the beasts head, "There, there, Hadrimme... there, there..." she quietly whispered as tears flooded from her face.

They were going to kill me... and now what will happen to Will. I hope that boy is alright... Argael thought, noticing that her bow and arrows were gone.

Hadrimme, the Roc carrying Argael, was taking her to king, and at the moment there was no where else she wanted to be.

They landed on a mountain somewhere in the middle of nowhere and King Zaavain praised Hadrimme as men rushed up to feed her lots of fish and steak.
Zaavain carried Argael into a room where he laid her down on a comfortable bed.


Argael looked up at her father, "Nae saian luume'..." she smiled.

"Malia ten' vasa... yulna?" He said softly, offering her food.

"Amin uuma malia, diola lle" Argael said, respectfully declining.

"Detholalle." Zaavain sat on the bed beside her, "Lle anta est."

"Amin mela lle" Argael said hugging him.

"I love you too..." Zaavain smiled and left her to rest.

Will was almost through the woods, sword drawn and ready to fight. He hadn't seen the bird but he had heard it and he was about to go see if Argael was alright. Will was going to kill everyone in the camp if that's what it took to save her. It was his fault she was captured... he hadn't fought hard enough and now he would slice his way through the camp to save her.

 

Argael woke up about an hour later. It was a refreshing sleep, but she still just couldn't let go of what would happen to Will.

"Father!" She yelled accidentally, breaking out of a daze.

King Zaavain rushed to her daughter and quickly opened the door, "Mani naa ta?"

"Father, I met a boy this afternoon, and I believe the Dark Lords took him."

Zaavain spoke under his breath, "the Dragon King..."


Argael nodded.

 

Will strode into the camp, infantry looking at him and drawing their swords. He let the broadsword rest at his side and he attatched the shield to him arm. He looked at the first soldier and grinned as it rushed him. He ducked, spun, and shoved the blade through the beast's stomach. He kicked the beast off the onyx blade and said. "Next?"

 

Dannagyathin ran out of his tent and saw his camp was partcially on fire "What's going on?! What happened?!" He exclaimed.

Grom followed his master out of the tent and looked around.

"Go, get Argael, see if she's there!" Dannagyathin said.

Grom ran to Wraith's bunker and looked in the room Argael was in. He saw she was gone. He ran out, as he saw some of Dannagyathin's men were putting the fires out. "She's gone my lord!" Grom said

"SHOOT!" Dannagyathin yelled. "Find her! Kill anyone who gets in your way! I want her here, if she resists, kill her. I want a message sent to her father, the king. I want him to know that i'm the one in power now." He said. He sent as many of his toughest men to find Argael. "DON'T LET HER ESCAPE! I DON'T WANT ALL OF THIS LAND TO KNOW WHERE WE ARE!!!!!" Dannagyathin yelled. He looked and saw Will fighting his men. "Back for more...Hehehehe" He said. He drew his sword and started walking towards Will, smiling and chuckling.

 

Will strode through the entrance of the camp, leaving the four guards lying in pools of their own blood. He continued forward, making it ten feet bore being surrouned by more infantry soldiers. A captain pushed through the soldiers and drew his sword, armor clinking lightly from the movement. Will smiled and said. "So we have a challenger!"

 

Riding on beautiful Griffins and majestic Hippogryphs, the Elven Soldiers returned to the kingdom where they kept guard. It turned out the King was observing some ancient monster fossils, trying to restore life to them and he evacuated the town in case of an attack.

When they got to the castle, the archers stood their ground, and the drawbridge went up, just in case.
Any one who would want to get to the castle would have to swim through the Leviathan filled moat.

"What about Will, Father!" Argael asked, being more worried that they didn't find him running around town.

"Don't worry, Argael- we've sent an elite squad to go searching for him."

Argael gulped, "I hope so..."

 

Will killed the captain, cutting his head clean off. He then saw the dragon king striding towards him. "And here comes the king, wanting to kill me!" He roared, kicking the captain's body to the side and readying himself to fight for his life.

 

"Eaargg!" A bird-like shriek broke the dead, disturbing silence of the camp.

It had been the squad, 7 of them riding on horse back, and another 9 of them gliding on the back of Griffins and Hippogryphs.

"KAWWH! KAWWH!" They called out.

The soldiers from the sky landed and ambushed some guards.
One of the men on horseback was Gandus, a great Mage that once too was human, but had forgotten of his past when he was raised by Elven parents.

"Stop this unnecessary bloodshed!" he yelled out. His book of spells in one hand, a summoning staff in the other.

 

Will gripped the hilt of the sword tight. Why did the want him to stop trying to save Argael? He was going to save her and no freak magician was going to stop him. He readied his sword and shield and prepared for the worst from the mage.

 

Dannagyathin looked at Will "You have a lot of nerve coming to my territory, boy..You just won't quit..Besides, your too late, Argael's gone." Dannagyathin said. He was trying to make it sound like she was dead, he hoped it work because he wanted to see Will mad, with anger comes corruption. With corruption comes hatred, Dannagyathin was looking for an apprentice.

 

Wll' temper did rise but it only spurred a hatred towards the dragon king. He tarted forward, gaining ground fast before slicing the sword across the king's chest and rolling to the side. He then jumped up, slicing at his back and lower legs. He wanted to incapacitate him and question him about Argael's whereabouts.

 

"Hahaha, yes, let your anger take the better of you, you hate me...You hate me..Take your anger out on me...It's good to be angry.." Dannagyathin said. "Argael's told me to tell you 'I'm sorry' you see, she prooved to be useless." Dannagyathin said. He was lying, trying to drive Will into Darkness.

 

Gandus stopped Will using his telekinetic abilities, he didn't want the boy to be physically OR mentally hurt, he could tell that the Dragon King fed on that sort of stuff like darkness.

He levitated the boy towards him and grabbed his shoulders to hold him steady, "You mustn't," Gandus said as Will tried to resist, "The Princess is alright, she's ALIVE. She's safe at the Kingdom right now; now we can't let you get hurt, even though you don't have a reason to fight him anymore. Please, all the Princess requests is your safety, Traveler." Gandus said quickly, worried that the Dragon King would strike them down if they took to much time.

Gandus threw Will on a horse with one of the soldiers, "ASCA!" He yelled as the Elven soldier rode off with Will, following another back up soldier- just in case.
