The Way Back ~ Actual Thread

Once Wrath left the area, he transformed into his dragon form and flew up to the skies. While he was flying, he thought to himself "I sense something is amiss." "I wonder what it is." He kept flying until he saw a mountain area. He flew down to a cave opening of snow covered area of the mountain range. He turned into his human form and went inside.

 

Nabuh chirped and then gnawed on a ripe lychee he had in his paws with the skin still on.

"It smiled and hopped onto Will, making it's tail rap around his neck like scarf, he soon pounced back onto Argael's head as she giggled.

"Sorry, he's a little... energetic." She smiled as she began leading Will through a small path through the shrubs and other exotic plants.

 

Dannagyathin passed over the edge of the forest, he flew close down, he noticed Argael and Will. "That elven princess, her head would look good on a stake, outside my camp. A warning perhaps to show the elves that we mean buisness." Dannagyathin said, He flew down infront of Will and Argael and turned back into his Lizardman form. He drew his sword. "Well well well, who do we have here? Some wanderers in the forest? You two should be more carful all out alone. You never know who will show up.." Dannagyathin said smiling.

 

Will smiled and said. "It's fine. So where exactly does this lead?" He asked, striding with her. He then realized he was still holding her hand. He withdrew his and blushed. "Sorry about that..." He said, rubbing his hair shyly. When the Dragon King landed Will stepped in front of Argael and got into a fighting stance, drawing a knife he kept on him at all times. "What do you want with us?" He growled, ready to defend Argael with his life.

 

"My dear boy, do you really think you'll be able to defeat me, more less even hurt me with THAT butterknife?" Dannagyathin asked chuckling. He stepped close to Will "I don't want anything with you, i want Argael." He said.

 

Will ducked below the king's reached and sliced at his stomach with his razor sharp blade, spinning and stabbing at his back. He then rolled, going under the king to back in front of Argael. He was breathing heavily, having not practiced knife combat in a long time. His father used to train him on many ways of comba and self defense but he couldn't remember why it stopped.

 

"Hahahahaha! That stung a little bit." Dannagyathin said. He tackled Will to the ground and knocked his knife out of his hand and put his sword to Will's neck "Back off or i'll kill you off right now, right here." He said. He kicked Will's knife away so Will coulden't reach it.

 

Wrath looked around and decided that this cave isn't special. He then left the cave and turned back into his dragon form. He then flew off to find his king. "I can sense him." "He is near." He kelpt flying to find him. He even sent a black fireball in the air to see it.

 

Will rinned as he did this. Will could do this easily. Yeas of freerunning ad fighting had given him an edge in hand to hand combat. "Sorry, but I don't give up that easily!" He roared, kicking the king off of him with ease. He then jumped to his feet, forgetting his knife.

 

Argael clenched her fist and swung her feet at the man. "Ugh, who are you!" She said taking out her bow and a few arrows.

She was frightened by his reptilian form, but it didn't repel her for long.

 

Dannadyathin looked up and saw the black fire ball. He shot one up after he saw Wraith's. He looked back at Will "If you value your life, leave now." He said. He turned to Argael. "I am no man, princess. He quickly ran up to her and grabbed her by the neck. He looked at Will "Leave now, or i'll run her through" Dannagyathin Said

 

Wraith looked at him and said "Yes my lord." He then flew off and went to the trail leading to the forest. He turned into his human form and stood there waiting for further orders. "I'm here just in case, my lord." He then gripped the hilt of sword while waiting.

 

"Good, take the princess back to camp." He said shoving Argael to Wraith. "I'll keep the boy busy." He said. He walked over to Will "You must want a death wish" He said looking at Will.

 

Wraith took Argeal and said "Yes my lord." He then summoned his dragon wings and flew off. While flying in his human form with his wings out, Wraith looked at Argeal and said "Why are you so important?" He then turned his head kept flying off towards the camp.

 

Will shuddered, not wanting her to get hurt. "Let her go!" He roared. He wanted to fight but he couldn't do anything... this feeling of helplessness felt like something he felt in the past but he doesn't remember when or why. "Please... Just let her go and take me prisoner... torture me, kill me, do what you will but just leave her alone..." He said, voice shaking.

 

"Your of no importaince to me, i should just kill you now." Dannagyathin walked slowly to Will. He put his sword to Will's neck "Your wish, we can do this the fast and painless way, or the slow and painful way." Dannagyathin said.

 

Will felt his anger rise... "Please... just let her go..." He begged. He was trying to think of a way to fight back but he was in a defenseless position. On his knees, no weapon even near him. He wanted to fight, to kill hi but he couldn't.

 

"Never, i need her to overcome her father, the king. This land is vital to my conquring of the world." Dannagyathin said. "Now, how did you meet her? How do you know her, she's royalty and you look like the sort to not even be near her kind." Dannagyathin said.

 

Will's temper flared at this and he ducked, sliding under the king and spinning, kicking at the king's crotch. He then jumped, vaulting over his head and kicking the sword out of his hand. Will rolled, reaching the sword and grabbing it. "What did you say about me?" He growled, holding the sword at a ready position.

 

Dannagyathin turned around, "Your a poor, spineless fool, thats what i said." Danngyathin said. He kicked Will in the gut and clawed his face. He grabbed his sword and flew up into the sky and headed for his camp.
