It's a shame, because IX is a damn good game. I think part of its problem was the timing of the release, it being the last playstation1 game, and coming out shortly before the release of the ps2. And I think people get turned off by the more cartoony art design. v_v

I liked this about Kuja- I like having rivals to foil each other, if they are done right. Seifer is a 'villain' that had a lot of potential, especially as a foil to Squall, but it was never properly developed and he just became the sorceress' wussy lapdog.
