Tinaki was surprised that Melody was the one who had asked questions before Marcus. He looked at his Master and saw that he had a troubled expression on his face, He now regretted interrupting there conversation. There were very few things that upset his master and from the expression on his face Tinaki could tell that it was something very uncomfortable for him to talk about. But needless to say they couldn't survive another attack especially with a Hero to fight.

"The Hero is unknown to me m'lady" Tinaki said finally. "But they seem rather powerful"

Tinaki looked at his master for a command or at least a sign that he acknowledge what he had just said.

Marcus stood there for what seemed a long time. He had alot to think about.

"Master?" Tinaki said bringing him back to reality. "Yes" Marcus said regaining himself.

"Melody if your to distracted from what iv just told you and rather you go home. I can't have you losing your train of thought in the heat of battle, Tinaki if she does choose to go home than see that she gets there safely" And with that he took two steps and seemed to disappear.

Marcus arrived in the middle of the town he had saved not an hour ago. Buildings were alight with fire's so hot that if you got within ten feet of them they would set anything flammable on fire. Marcus saw soldiers trying in vain to put the fire's out. "Its black fire!" Marcus shouted over the noise of war. The soldiers took the hint and went about getting civilians out of the town to the safety of the near by mountains.

I need to find that damn Hero and end this immediately Marcus thought to himself as he walked to were he saw a large groups of soldiers gathered.

Melody sighed, "I'm fine." she said after a moment not sure if Marcus could hear her but she didn't really care. Partly she was telling that to herself anyway. She looked at Tinaki "I need to help my brother." she said "Return to the fight, please. I'll be alright." she then took off toward the battlefeild. She wasn't about to go home when people were in danger. Besides her brother was one of those people. She disappeared, appearing again near the building that she had been on top of the time before. The fire was the first problem she noticed. Though by the looks of things, she could tell it was no use trying to put it out with water. She tried to remember the spell she knew about putting out black fire or at least try to make one up while at the same time trying to keep to the shadows, she didn't want to be distracted by attacking light soldiers when she was trying to concentrate.

Marcus sensed Melody's presence and that was reinforced when Tinaki showed up at his side.

"She chose to come my lord" Tinaki said forming his sword out of pure darkness. Marcus had never actually seen his right hand man wield a weapon before so it looked somewhat foreign to him.

"I know" Marcus said with a sigh. He didn't doubt Melody's fighting ability, she was an even match for him when it came down to fighting and she certainly surpassed him when it came to magic. But even so he was rather protective over her. "Find her and make sure if things take a turn for the worst that you get her out of here" He told Tinaki.

Tinaki nodded to him and walked away. Suddenly there was a loud shouting coming from the group of soldiers that Marcus had been making his way to. Then one by one they all fell. Marcus looked at the one man left standing and then realized he was the one who had attacked. It was the Hero.

He stood there no emotion showing on his face, He was obviously well experienced. He would be a rather intimidating show except that Marcus wasn't intimidated by anything or anyone.

"Are you the so called prince of darkness" a deep voice said hidden by a mask.

"Who's asking?" Marcus said drawing his sword.

"I am the legendary Amal. And I have come for your head and the head of your sister"

"Im afraid I can't let that happen" Marcus said readying himself "Who hired you to attack us!?" He asked as he flew at the hero with such speed a normal human would not have been able to keep up with him.

"Beat me and ill tell you!" Amal said meeing Marcus's sword with his own. When the two clashed it sounded like thunder rumbling in the sky.

Melody found herself surrounded by a good number of human soldiers. She sighed, a bit unwilling to kill so many individuals that possibly had families waiting for them to return home safely but it was either kill or be killed. Besides, she was doing it to protect her family and her home so she had no choice. She decided to ignore the use of her weapon this time, she wasn't as good with the sword as Marcus and she was more effective with magic... and quicker and less painfull deaths made her feel a little better about killing people.

As the first soldier stepped forward with a hammer in his grasp to swing down on her, Melody ducked around him and kicked him in the back sending him stumbling toward one of his comrades before she snapped her fingers and as the two soldiers collided they both quickly died and fell to the ground in the form of ash.

The other soldiers were a bit put at unease by Melody's magic. At first, she thought a few of them would run. Especially as she heard the word 'witchcraft' muttered under the breaths of some of them. Idiots... she thought to herself ...It's sorcery. Witchcraft is a lot more simple.

She didn't say anything as some of the soldiers regained their wits faster than she thought they would. She felt a strong hand grab at her from behind and pull her back. She struggled and brought her elbow back into her attacker's ribs. She heard him grunt and quickly let go of her but more took his place. A hand passed in front of her eyes as another soldier brought a rope down on her from behind and tightened it around her arms.

Melody was a bit confused by the tact. If he wanted to kill her, he would have gone for her neck with the rope, not her hands and arms. It was then that Melody caught on to what was going on. They weren't trying to kill her. They were probably supposed to capture her for one reason or another. Knowing what was going on now, she knew just how to counter this. If they didn't want her dead that meant that she had the upper hand because that meant that they were under orders to keep her alive and out of the way until either the 'hero' or whoever had given the order had the chance to kill her her/himself.

With that realization, Melody dropped onto her knees and brought her hands up following the rope until they met the hands of whoever had attempted to tie her. When she had them she lifted her wings and pressed them against the air, bringing her and her attacker up as well as sending a strong (magically aided) blast of wind toward the remaining soldiers. She threw her attacker down onto the ground and he was still as Melody cast a spell to immediately stop his heart. She then caused a bright burst of fire in the sky that struck down to the ground, killing a good half of the remaining soldiers from the heat. She heard a loud sound in the air just after her attack, realizing it was probably Marcus because she could hear the softer metallic clang of metal. He obviously was fighting someone who had streingth at least close to his own. *lol marcus and melody are thunder and lightning :p*

Melody looked at the rest of the soldiers casually, "I'm giving you a chance at living." she told them all as her feet touched back to the ground "Leave this city right now and go back home, give me your unbreakable oaths that you will never return to the dark world or trespass agaisnt us, and I will let you all live and I wont tell my brother that I did it." she didn't like keeping things from Marcus but she knew he wouldn't like the idea of what she was doing at all.

The soldiers were all astonished, for a moment some of them seemed to consider her offer but then one of them, a smaller set boy who was possibly no older than Melody stepped forward "Give us your empty promises, witch. We will not hear you. The deaths of our loved ones and our homes by the hands of your people have made us deaf to your words." he shouted at her before he spat on the ground at her feet.

The other's seemed to follow along with his words because all of them yelled to reinforce his words. Melody didn't appear too upset by his words "Very well." she said solemly before she held out her hand to the multitude of screaming soldiers advancing on her. "死." Melody whispered.

The crowd all fell at once, as if they had all tripped around an invisible rope. None of them stirred. They were all dead. Melody felt a bit fatigued from the last spell. That one drained the energy of even the best of magicians. But Melody knew it would wear off soon.

"Is this the best you've got!" Amal mocked as he pushed Marcus through a wall.

Marcus had been fighting with the hero for what seemed liked hours. Every muscle in his body ached and burned. It hurt him to just get himself up.

"I'm.....I'm only getting started!" Marcus breathed before he rushed the hero head on sword raised above his head. Amal raised his own sword to meet Marcus's while thrusting with his second blade at his heart. Marcus sidestepped Amal's thrust by just an inch he than changed his swing from above and aimed it towards his neck. Amal was surprised by the sudden change and managed to dodge the blow with just a scratch to his neck.

"Haha, Well done Prince, I didn't see that one coming you even managed to scratch me" Amal laughed

Damn it! Marcus thought to himself I can't keep this up much longer

Tinaki had seen Melody make the offer to the soldiers of light. "Your brother might not approve of that offer you made milady" He said after she had killed them all when they decided not to take her up on her offer. He then walked over to her placing a hand around her waist to support her until she had regained her energy. "Iv been told I must escort you to safety if things were to get out of hand" He said as he began walking her to a path that lead of into the mountains. "And before you begin complaining things have gotten out of hand, your brother is barley holding the hero at bay"

    * * * * * * * * * * * *

"Your bleeding pretty badly there young prince" Amal said looking at his sword which he had just cur Marcus's leg with. "What a strange colour" He said bringing the blade closer so he could examine it closer.

"Big mistake" Marcus said in a whispered tone. He then used his dissapeared reappearing right in front of Amal in a crouched position. He then kicked up at Amal's blade. Amal not realizing what happened reacted to late and the blade cut through his cloak and cut him in a horizontal line on his nose and his checks.

"Gahh!" Amal cried in pain. "Ill kill you for that!" He said as he kicked Marcus directly in the chin. The power of the kick sent Marcus flying though the air. He finally stopped after crashing into the well in the middle of town.

"I hope you've said your prayers" Amal said evilly as he walked towards Marcus for the final strike.

Marcus barely made out the words that Amal had said. He tried opening his eyes to see but they didn't seem to work.

So.. this is how it ends...be safe Melody

Melody, like she had guessed before, was already gaining back her energy reletively quickly. She still felt a little weak but she could see and think straight again so she counted that as ok. She shook her head and tried for a moment to push Tinaki away. "No. I have to help Marcus."

Just as she finished saying that, Melody and Tinaki both heard a loud crash and screams from frightened citizens of the city who still hadn't made it out as buildings shook. Both of them stood there in shock as one building even looked as if it collapsed after a shout of rage that didn't belong to Marcus. Melody knew what Marcus's voice sounded like... that wasn't him. But she knew the owner of the voice had the strength to cause the buildings to shake like that, all in a row like something had hit them, or someone. "Marcus!?" Melody screamed.

She recovered from her shock more quickly than Tinaki had, replacing it with worry and a need to know if her brother was alright. She pushed herself away from Tinaki, not really paying attention to his reaction before she took off in a run back toward the city. Midstep she disappeared.

Using magic for teleportation wasn't her wisest move when she was already weakened from a powerful spell but nothing like that mattered at the time. What Tikaki said about things getting out of hand, and then not seeing Marcus through the whole time they were in the city, and stress and confusion from what Marcus had told her just before they were attacked, and her need to not lose the only family she knew she had left clouded her better judgment.

When she appeared again, she was by the west gate of the city. The place looked pretty much deserted. She could see no soldiers, or civillians. All around her was evidence of a battle. Footsteps on the ground and the gate and buildings around her were cracked and broken. She studied the ground a bit more and saw human blood on the ground in an x type of shape. It had come from higher on the owers body. Possibly his face. Melody began to look up again but something else caught her eye. A slivery color that she knew only too well because she saw it every time she scraped her knee while playing as a child. It was blood. From someone just like her and she only knew for sure of one person who was just like her. "Marcus." she tried to yell his name again but worry and weriness made her voice not her own. It sounded strangely quiet to her.

"NO!" The voice came before the girl. Melody was then there, as her yell echoed away through the wreckage. She was standing between Marcus and the hero, her hands had instinctively reached up and grabbed his wrist before she had even appeared, still stronger than most even in her weakened state, she managed to restrain his arm from striking down on her and her brother.

"Melody..." Marcus barley said. Then he fell unconscious.

"Get off me wretched fool!" Amal said throwing Melody away from him. "You.. can it be. You are the princess of darkness and this wretched excuse for a warriors sister?" He said referring to Marcus. Melody was just getting up from when Amal had thrown her. She was surprised at his pure strength. But nothing would stop her from protecting the only family she had. She needed to think of something and quick. But Amal wasn't going to give her much of a chance, He rushed her when he saw that she wasn't paying attention to what he was saying. Melody jumped and pushed off of Amals shoulder. She landed on her heel and turned around so that she was facing Amal who had crashed through a wall. If Marcus couldn't take him at swordplay there's no way I'll be able to Melody thought to herself I could try defeating him with magic but I don't have that much time

Melody was distracted by something moving from behind her, Marcus! Melody suddenly remembered. His wounds were healing and he was regaining consciousness. If I can distract this hero long enough Marcus will regain enough strength and we may stand a chance against this guy together or at the very least we can escape together.

    * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
"Almost there" Tinaki breathed heavily as he ran to the square of town. He had been shocked when he head the scream and then a large crash. And unfortunately for him he couldn't teleport like Marcus or Melody. But if he ran he might still be able to save Melody.

Melody had been avoiding Amal for around fifteen minutes now. Marcus was still in bad shape but he was coming along. The moon would be at its highest point in just under five minutes. All Melody had to do was avoid direct contact with Amal so that Marcus could regain his strength. Which in turn fortunately for her was proving to be rather simple. Amal was unable to use magic, he relied on pure force and strength. And having her magic replenishing from the rays of the moon meant that Melody had a better chance at avoiding Amal than he thought possible.

"Stop moving you pathetic woman!" Amal shouted in frustration as he charged Melody again. Melody ran towards him and at the last second used her magic to help her jump around Amal. "I grow tired of this pathetic game of yours!" Amal said to Melody. "This time I will get you" he said charging her. Melody once again dodged his attack, "Marcus!" Melody shouted. Amal wasn't aiming for Melody but Marcus. Melody used her magic to propel her forward all she had to do was hit his upper body with enough force to knock him of course so he wouldn't kill Marcus.

"Raagh" Tinaki shouted as he dived at the hero's legs. Melody and Tinaki hit the hero at the same time. The force of the hit sent the hero somersaulting through the air. He landed with a thud at Marcus's feet.

"Say goodnight" Tianki said before he smashed his boot down on Amal's head knocking him unconscious.
"Tinaki?" Marcus said dreamily. "What are you doing here?"

"Marcus!" Melody said hugging her brother.

"Im sorry my lord but we must leave this place. The Hero's allies will soon learn that he has fallen." Tinaki said helping Marcus to his feet.

The three then took off to the mountains to regroup with the townsfolk.

Melody felt like she should stay back. When the soldiers learned of their fallen leader they would be outraged. They would destroy this small town before returning home to their families. She just knew it. She took one last glance over her sholder at the edge of the city, knowing that by time dawn approached, fire and steel will have consumed this town leaving it as ash and stone. But she was sure they got all living creatures out of the town. There would be no more innocent lives taken tonight.

Having been a bit reconciled by that thought, Melody kept walking forward beside her brother and Tinaki. She looked at Marcus, before she took hold of his hand like she use to when she was little and something was bothering her. She didn't seem to notice the childlike gesture she had taken and even if she had she knew Marcus wouldn't make any judgments of it.

She was too busy thinking about something totally different. What if the Hero amal had a family just like hers? A sister who had been waiting for him to return?

Would it be any different than if the tables had been turned and Amal had won the fight? Melody didn't know if she would be able to go on as leader of the dark world without Marcus. She shivered uneasily at the thought and changed the subject of her thoughts by speaking outloud first to Marcus "Are you alright?" She had other things to say as well but the safety of her family and the other soldiers was first priority.

"Im fine" Marcus said walking a little slower than his usual pace. "The moon is healing me"

Marcus was thinking on the past events. What made them attack with such verocity. There had been attacks before but never on this level. "Why did you come back?" Marcus asked in an unusually quite tone. "I told you to take the people to safety. What if something had happened to you!"

Marcus then stopped, he hadn't healed as much as he thought he had and even speaking seemed to suck the energy right out of him.

    * * * * * * *

    "Master!. Master are you alright?"

"Im fine, The prince spared my life" Amal said with discuss.

    "Shall we pursue them Master?"

"No, For now we retreat. We will allow the prince some more time with his princess" Amal said mockingly.

    "You know what to do".

The entire city was on flames and those that were unfortunate not to escape with there lives were simply thrown on the burning buildings instead of a proper burial.

Melody shrugged "If you had died, then something bad WOULD have happened to me." she pointed out "Being the fact that you're the only one I trust or care about anymore, you die then I pretty much am alone. So in saving you I did something good for me too so relax." she sighed, knowing he had every right to be upset.

He had told her she could come so long as she didn't do anything stupid and that she would do what he told her if things got out of hand. She glanced back at the city and knew that things had deffinately gotten out of hand but still, she was a lot like Marcus on the aspect that she didn't really think before she acted when it came to him as much as she knew he cared about her.

She sighed, changing her attitude a bit "I'm sorry I made you worry but I'm not sorry I came back." she said as she slowed down a bit and offered her hand to help him.

"Well its over now. We won't dwell on past events" Marcus said pulling Melody to his side with his arm and giving her a hug of sorts. They reached a block in the mountain that anyone who wasn't from the dark realm would see as a dead end. But Marcus, Melody and Tinaki knew that if you got closer to the mountain there was a passage that appeared to be blocked from a distance but it was a clear opening that lead to an underground tunnel were all the towns people were waiting for them to return. After walking in silence for around twenty minuets Marcus and Melody approached a opening in the tunnel that was brightly lit. "There they are!" Marcus heard someone bellow out in the cave. The sound echoed and the people all turned at what seemed like the same time. If there was an outsider listening in it would sound like a well trained army. "Huzza!" The people all shouted at once seeing the leaders alive and well.
Marcus stood away from Melody and began to speak "Our people!. We have been chased out of our homes and our brothers, fathers, sons, wives and daughters have been killed at our feet. But this act of cowardliness will not go unpunished. We will start anew, we will have revenge for this day!" There was a loud cheer that echoed loudly again and again. Marcus then looked at Melody, and smiled.

Melody smiled as she watched her brother speak to the crowd. He was an amazing leader, just as good if not better than she remembered their father having been. He spoke like he was not obove them, just one of them and for that he got respect. She took his hand once while he spoke for a little while and then let go as he finished speaking. She smiled back at him and then stepped up to stand next to him speaking to add to what he said. Her voice was naturally a lot softer than Marcuses she had to use a spell to make herself heard better. "But let us not let our anger get our better judgement. We fight to protect our homes and avenge our lost loved ones not out of spite or bitter hate. For that we fight for a noble cause and our blades are held in better hands than those of the light." She wasn't sure why it was important for her to say... she just didn't want her people to attack out of mere hate and the need for distruction. She didn't want them to become just like the light: blood seeking fools with swords in hand.
    ******************
The images of the prince and princess of the dark faided from her vision as she awoke with a gasp, sitting up quickly. Samantha sat there in her bed, trying to wait for her heart to slow back to normal for a little while before she stood up and walked over to the window to open the heavy black curtains and let the light of the rising sun fill the room and her eyes. The images from her psycic dream were still dominant in her mind as she rinsed her face with the bowl of water on the table near the window. She had been having them night after night for the past week now, seeing that girl on the roof of the castle practicing her spells worrying about her brother out on the battlefeild and resenting being left home again. She remembered feeling her fear when she thought that Marcus had been killed by the light Hero, the need to get to him before the worst. It was a terrible feeling and she was still trying to sort out the witch's feelings and thoughts from her own. Why did she keep doing this!? What was the terrible night witch trying to do? Get sympathy from the light in feeble attempt to save her race? Or was she using a spell to spy on her and it backfired so that Samantha could see her as well? Whatever it was... last night was the last straw.
The door opened then and a armored man walked in. It was her personal assistant and right hand man Jerom "Mistress." he said with a slight bow "We have prepared your team as you have requested. The two magicians, three ninjas, and one archerer."
Samantha nodded approvingly "Thank you Jerom." she said as she walked over to a chest near the back of the room and opened it up to reveal her armor. It was nearly white metal, and it had never been broken for as long as he had owned it."
Jerom sighed "I dont feel comfortable about this Samantha. You going against the dark armies with nothing but six men to back you not that I doubt your skill."
Samantha shrugged "It's not the entire army I'm after... A big army will only make my presence known and then I will never get my targets."
    "Which are?"
    "The witch and her brother."

Samantha stood in front of six people, in her traveling clothes and all of them were set for a long journey. "This is a task that will be a difficult one so if any of you think you cant handle it then go home now because after we cross those gates and leave this city there is no turning back." she was saying.
"And what is our task?" one of the followers said. The person was a woman, running her hand finger down the edge of a ninja star.
Samantha frowned at her, wasn't this obvious? Surely they had been informed of the mission they were assigned to accompany her on.
The woman continued speaking with a smug smile at Samanthas confused glare "We know what we were informed that you are foolish enough to take on the witch Melody on your own." she chucked as she put her ninja star away "It's a suicide mission you are heading toward Enchantress, Samantha. She alone could match you in your skill of magic which already puts your life in danger let alone if you match that with the anger of her parther*. You would be destroyed just like Amal."
Samantha was angry by that statement but she kept her cool. She paced up to the ninja woman casually, her hands clasped behind her back "Whats your name?" she asked.
    "Sheila." the woman replied.
"Well, Sheila, the truth is I am as foolish as you say apparently because it is just that mission we are about to undertake. And I can assure you that we will return victorious. You see, I dont plan on 'taking on' both of them at once as you so stupidly pointed out." she was now walking in front of each of the six followers "I plan to separate them by bringing one of them back here alive with the use of magic, which is why it would be stupid to take an army because I cant transport an army of men from the dark world back here without killing myself. And once we are here again then we will kill the dark ruler wether it be the witch or the softy king."
She suddenly stopped as she reached the end of the line of people and pushed the final person on the shoulder. Taken off guard, the man stumbled into the man next to him and the domino effect continued until it reached Sheila on the end. Sheila and the person who ran into her fell onto the ground.
As Sheila got up onto her knees and was irritably dusting the dirt off of her knees and elbows Samantha crouched down infront of her to get at her level "And once one of them is dead, the other's anger will take care of the rest. The domino effect will take place until it leads the other to me, whom I will push into the dirt personally."
She stood up and looked at all six of them again "Now, are there any other questions?"

"What are we doing here Felix?, Huh what are we doing here?" A young woman could be heard saying as she ran around what people assumed was her companion. Felix continued walking as if she hadn't spoken to him began looking around for the local tavern. "Hey Felix I'm hungry! Buy me something nice to eat!" Felix unattached a bag from his belt and handed it to her. "Here this is the last of the money from the last job. Don't waste it. I'm not sure when I will be getting another job." "Thanks Felix!" She said as she hugged him and ran off deeper into the town.

Felix began walking into a small tavern he had seen. "Hey buddy!" a drunk called out. "What's the cost for that girl you were with?!" He said then burst out laughing. Felix stood there for a little while, doing nothing. "What got no back bone!" The drunkard called out again. Felix slowly made his was towards the man, He was laughing at first but then as Felix got closer and closer he slowly stopped. "Listen man I was only joking, seriously don't take..." Felix was so close to the man he could smell the alcohol on his breath. "Stay away from her". "Sur...sure" The drunk said as cowered against the wall Felix had backed him to. With out another word Felix walked into the tavern getting looks of both admiration and disgust.

It's cold lately Melody thought to herself glumly as she sat in her room on the windowseat looking out at the land outside the castle. Mostly, the capital city had been unharmed from the previous battle but inside of Melody, it was different. She hadnt spoken to Marcus the same since that conversation they had just before the battle. It wasn't that she was mad at him, its just that she wasn't sure what to think of what he had said about their father. Why would he have been trying to contact her and not Marcus? She knew he only wanted her to be happy and thats why he tried so hard to keep the truth away from her as long as he did but now that she knew, she wondered what was so important that her father wanted her to know and if it really was him at all. She remembered life being happy in her childhood. She had Marcus, even though he ran away a lot back then and her parents both loved her and were there with her. But now everything was different, it was up to her and Marcus to protect their entire race and they had to do it alone.

'Why on earth would father have not helped us?'

With this question and many more on her mind, she stood up. Pulling awau the black ribbon that tied her hair back and she let the silvery blue mess cascade down her back and shoulders. Her curiosity was just too much to handle. She had to know the truth. But was the truth worth the price she would have to pay: Marcus's trust.

She had promised him she wouldn't read too much into the information he had given her. To do what she planned to do, she would be breaking that promise. But she had to know! Marcus would forgive her eventually, wouldnt he.

It was solved then, tonight she would start to watch for messengers for her father herself. And she would reach the messenger before Marcus or the guards could reach him. She would ask the messenger what she needed to know and then send him away before Marcus even knows of his presense...

"Samantha." she heard a man's voice say. That name sounded so familiar...
Her eyes flew open and she looked side to side, realing she was laying on the ground in the early morning. She could see six other people sleeping around her. "Damn that witch..." Samantha muttered as she stood up, the details of her dream of Melody's life still deeply laced in her mind. This time it was harder to separate her own feelings for the witch's feelings for her brother, and betrayl from both important men in her life. Why was she showing Samantha these images!?
'Stop this, Witch.' she thought to herself. 'You will have no sympathy from me.'

Samantha then looked at the man who had woken her. It was the healer they had brought along with them on their expidition. His name was Hank.

Hank gave her a strange look, Samatha could read the question in his eyes and she couldn't blame hiim for thinking it: Why was their leader acting like such a nutcase lately?

It didn't matter and she had no reason to explain herself to him. It would all be over once the Witch was dead and her brother aswell. "Goodmorning Hank." she said. "Wake the others, we leave at once."

The healer got to the task she had given him at once, gently shaking the shoulders of each fighter in turn. They were all light sleepers so it didn't take long before everyone was up and ready to go, standing in a line and waiting for Samantha's orders.

"I hope everyone rested well because we will not rest again today. We are nearing enemy territory so be on your guard. Tonight we reach the capitol city of the dark world. And then, we make our move at dawn."

"Sir, Were closing up for the night." "Sure" Felix said simply as he stood up from his one and only drink that he hadn't touched all those hours he was there. Felix flexed his arms and legs to get rid of some of the stiffness from sitting to long. After setting his sword on his belt Felix left to go to the local inn were he would meet up with Arwen.

"He won't be happy with you" Arwen said. "That's ok, We'll have our fun with you and then we'll be out of here, besides two of my guys have already taken care of your boyfriend. Isn't that right boys!" The four guys burst into laughter. "Were going to have some fun with you elf!"

"Is that so?". "What!?" The main guy said in surprise and disbelief. "I thought the two of you took care of him already!" "We couldn't find him sir" One of the guys said with fear in his voice. "Useless! All of you!, I guess if you want something taken care of you've got to do it yourself!"

"I thought I told you to leave her alone" Felix said calmly. "So you do remember me!" "Of course, your the drunkard who soiled himself at the first sign of confrontation."

"What!. I'm gonna make you pay pretty boy!" "I wouldn't do that" Arwen said trying to imitate Felix and then bursting into a fit of giggles. "Get him!" Two of the guys hesitated when the main guy and the one next to him charged. Felix easily dodged there punches countering with punches of his own. The two fell into a crumpled heap on the ground. "And what about you?" Felix asked. The two looked at him then at each other and turned to run. "I don't think so" Arwen said as she punched the two guys in the face. They as the others fell on to the floor clutching there faces.

"Why didn't you just do that straight away?" Felix asked keeping his casual tone. "Because I knew you would come and save me!" Arwen said extremely chirpy and hugging Felix's arm. "Come on." Felix said as they began walking away. "Lets go to the Inn I'm tired. And you had better of gotten separate rooms this time." Arwen just hugged onto his arm tighter and laughed.
