The Takeover!

Hazel felt a bit sleepy, maybe even a bit weak from not eating. She looked at Xan, now with a bandage. She was happy the bleeding had stopped. She wanted to go to sleep, she didn’t mind falling asleep right there, on Nightmare.

“How bout Thunder,” she murmured as she turned around to rest her head upon her horse and fall asleep.

 

Fly looked up and Xan, and didn't answer. She stood up and flicked her hair, walking away into the forest like she was something very important.

And soon as she was through the tree line her stature changed. She closed her eyes and slumped her shoulder's. She raised her had to look at the change from light to dark, sun to moon. And sighed. It wouldn't be long to come.

 

After Nixer came, he needed to talk to Xan about the investigation.
"Xan, I can't find anything new at this point.. Nothing unsual."
He looked at Nicole, resting. Nixer kneel down and touched her head whispering "I will find the killer.."

He turn to Xan and sweared to him: "I will have my vengance"

 

Long Time Ago...

Nicole began to wake up. She felt pain in her shoulder. She heard what Megumi said and Fly. She played asleep though, she could take the pain, it hurt alot, but she would deal with it, she heard what they were saying. She would find out what soon enough.

Soon she fell back asleep. She woke up though and looked around seeing Nixer, Megumi, and Xan.

"What happened?" Nicole asked sitting up. She remebered what happened, but she couldn't tell them.

 

"Nicole??" He rushed down towards her. "You got shot by an arrow, and you fainted"
"Is there anything I have to do for you? I can find you something to eat and stuff" Nixer said it in a hurry way and smiling at the same time.

 

"No, I'm to strong for that, I just won't move my arm that much, before I screw up anything though, can I have a nice long piece of cloth to create a sling for my arm, then I'll be good. Luckily it wasn't my action arm, just my left shoulder." Nicole said laughing.

"Besides nothing can hold me down." Nicole said.

 

Nixer smiled alot after he heard she was ok. He place his hand on her right arm and said: "I'm glad your ok and if you need me anything, just call me ok?" Nixer winked at her and stand up.
"Let me get you some water, I guess you are pretty thirsty" He was kinda thirsty when he said those words.
"I guess I am a little too" he laughed.

 

Nicole smield and nodded.

"Yeah a little." Nicole said ripping a bit of cloth off her skirt and making a sling out of it standing up. She smiled at him. She followed him to go get some water.

"So is Mentor ok at least?" Nicole asked him.

 

"Yeah" He said on the way smiling. "We can go to Mentor after we drink water.. I will get Ferox on the way too."
As soon as they arrived to drink water he picked a jar poured water onto Nicole's jar.
"Fresh isn't?"

 

"Hmm, yeah I guess so." Nicole said. She had stuff on her mind though. they started to head back. Nicole grabbed Mentor by his reins with her good arm and hand. She walked him over to the cerel and led him in and let him go to wonder around in it. She went and leaned against the fence watching him.

 

Nixer watched Nicole with her horse. She Looked at her and smiled, saying this in his mind: She really looks pretty. After, when Nicole was leaning againts teh fence, Nixer walked pass by leaned beside her.

"So, where do you get your techniques? You are very skilled with horses"

 

Hazel finally awoke, after her long rest she now felt refreshed. She had forgotten what she was engaged in previously, she had not realised she had even fell asleep at first. It must have been due to my lack of food, I could do with some more energy these days. She stood up and stretched her arms above her head while yawning. She remembered her horse, turning around to see her noble steed she noticed he was still fast asleep. Rest, you earned it. She said to herself as she walked out of the little pen Xan had created around the horses.

 

"I grew up on a farm, it was my grandfather's farm. We lived there while my father went off and fought in the war." Nicole said. She crossed her arms watching the setting sun. She went and grabbed a brush, brushing her horse down.

"My grandfather taught me everything, he was like the head doctor in the villiage he lived in, almost like the mayor, he was a doctor and he owned this farm." Nicole said.

 

"Wow, no wonder your so good with horses." He said. He remembered a flashback about his dad. He shook his head fast and place his hand on his forehead. "Eh, you want to ride on our horses around there? We can talk more along the way.."
He wanted to feel the fresh air with his horse and talking to her at the time, he really wanted to forget the flashback about his father's last words.

 

"Well I don't think it be a smart idea with my arm, in fact I should probaly go clean it." Nicole said. She took her water and poored it on her hands washing them then on her wound. She gatehred sticks up and madea fire heating up water, soon she took a clean rag and washed the wound feeling stinging from bacteria and other harmful germs being killed.

 

Fly had reached the other side of the forest. She had been walking what, 6 hours? The second she left the tree line an hawk swooped down, relaying her a message. Taking the note from the cup on the hawk's claw she read it and smiled. Giving the beautiful bird some seed she tossed in into the air watching it fly into the horizon. That was her deepest wish, two fly freely.

Reading the note once more she burnt it and swallowed the ashes. She turned around and ran flat out to the camp, she would be there in about 89 minute's.

 

Nicole looked up back where there camp was.

"Looks like someone's up."Nicole said. She finished up her wounds cleaning it. She headed back torwards camp with her horse. She tied him to a tree. The rope was very long and couldn't get tangle. Nicole gave her horse some carrots before going to where her captain called.

"Yes?" Nicole asked showing up to the captain's call.
