(It's Ken who slapped you.)

Ken pointed to Leon who was laying on the ground crying. Ken looked worried, "Daddy...Daddy cry." Ken said to Zack. Leon sat up on his knees and looked at Zack. "Ella called me.....I asked about the abortion thing.......she said.......she did consider aborting Ken." Leon started to cry like crazy again. Ken was confused. What did the word "Abortion" mean, he wondered.

 

Zack looked at him with a frightenend look on his face. He looked down and said "I can't believe it." "She actually tried to." "I'm sorry Ken." "It appears your mother was going to do something bad." He then hugged Ken and started to cry. "I can't believe it." "I just can't."

 

Ken was confused. What was abortion? What was it that his mom was going to do bad? Why was Zack crying? Why was Leon crying?

Leon was blood red in the face, a big difference from his normal pale complexion. Leon didn't know what to do anymore. "Why? How could she even consider doing something like that? That stupid bitch! She....she really hurt me." Leon was pressing so hard with his hand into the pavement that his palms began to bleed. Ken wondered if they were both going crazy.

 

Zack stopped hugging him and said "Its ok Ken." "Its going to be ok." He then got up and walked over to Leon. He looked at his brother and said "I'm sorry Leon." Just as he said that, it started raining on them. Zack looked up to the darkening sky and said "Rain." "I guess even heaven is sad about this."

 

Ken looked sad, "Daddy........." He said in a sad tone. Leon looked up at Zack and Ken and said, "Zack...... I.......I can't tell Ken what an abortion is, sure he'll forget when he gets older but....I don't want him to know what it is. I.......can't believe this." It began to thunder and lightning flashed. Ken didn't understand this at all, why were they both so sad? They had never looked this sad before.

 

Zack kept looking at the dark sky. He then said to Leon "Don't worry." "I promise that I won't tell him." He then walked over to the bike and started turning on. Once it was on he then looked back to Leon and Ken and said "Hey." "Lets get going." "We have to save your wife."

 

Leon hugged Ken and kissed his cheeks, "I love you so much little guy. No matter what, you're my son. Maybe you don't have my genes but we're father and son right?" Ken nodded yes. Leon felt a few tears come down his face. Leon got on the motorcycle with Ken and said, "I can't believe i'm still going to actually save her. Should we still save her?" Leon asked Zack.

 

Zack looked at Ken and said "Close your eyes little guy." "You might not like this." He then slapped Leon and the face and said "Shes you love." "Fight her Leon." He then looked up to the sky and said "Fight for her, no matter what." He then whispered under his breath "Hikari...."

 

Leon realized he was right. "I know.....I have to save her. I have to atleast do it for Ken. I'm sorry for even saying that." Something though inside Leon wouldn't go away. For the first time he felt hate for Ella. He didn't like that but he could not help it. Ken opened his eyes again and sighed in confusion. Leon nodded and said, "Start the motorcycle and lets go."

 

Zack looked back and said "You got it." He then revved up the motorcycle and speeded off. He was in a hurry to get to washington. He had to protect Hikari. "I won't let that man hurt her." "Wait for me, Hikari." Just as he was driving, Fang began awaking. "That boy.... why her?" He then went back to sleep.

 

Leon was deep in thought. Ken suddenly felt bad. He began to feel like he had done something wrong. "S.........Sorry." Ken said. Leon looked at him and said, "Oh Ken, buddy it's not your fault. Don't feel bad, you didn't do anything wrong. You're the one that makes us happy. You shouldn't be sorry about anything, your completely innocent." Leon didn't like that Ken felt bad for them crying. The thought went through Leon's mind that this was all Ella's fault.

 

Zack heared the voice. "Who was that?" He shrugged it off and kept driving off to their destinations. While driving, he heard Ken yawning and said "Rest little guy." "We have a long drive to get through." He looked back at Leon. He saw that he was holding Ken tight to his chest. "Leon, we will save her." "I promise."

 

"I know, I know we can save her but.....what do I do when I see her? Everything has changed. How do I face her without letting my anger get the best of me.......What if I hurt her?" Leon never thought he was capable of harming a girl, but deep down he had real hate and anger toward Ella. He hated that feeling.

 

Zack looked at his brother with a caring look in his eyes. He then sighed and said "Leon." "You won't hurt her." "You care for her too much." "I know that you will make the right decision." "I promise." He then turned his eyes back to the road in front of them. "I know he will make the right decision."

 

Leon wished he felt as convident as Zack does. Ken was having a dream about him being on a farm and petting a baby cow. He could smell ginger bread cookies and it was snowing so it must have been Christmas. He pulled a horse shoe from a pile of hay and put it around his neck. He crawled to a log cabin and handed the horse shoe to Leon. Leon just laughed and picked Ken up, "Good boy, you wanted to give me a present huh? I love you Ken." Ella came out of the house with a batch of cookies and said, "There are my two favorite men, who wants cookies." Ken squalleed in excitment.

 

Zack kdept driving for almost half an hour. WHile driving he thought Hikari. "I hope she is ok." He then sighed and kept looking at the stretch of road in front of him. Just as he was driving, he heard Ken snoring. He looked back and saw Ken sleeping. "Aw, what a good boy you got there Leon."

 

Leon smiled and said, "Yeah, I couldn't imagine life without him. I love him so much. He actually looks alot like me from my baby pictures, cute little guy. He likes you too Zack, he calls you his uncle."

In Ken's dream Zack came out with Hikari and the other orphans and they were all celebrating christmas. Leon took Ken into the house and placed him on the living room floor to watch Frosty the snowman while Leon walked into the kitchen to steal a bite off the christmas turkey.

Meanwhile in the real world Leon started to notice, "In fact he looks alot like me but not exactly the same."

 

Zack looked at Leon and said "Yeah." He then sighed and said "Leon." "Do you think Hikari is ok?" "I sometimes wonder that she likes me." "I mean you heard her singing voice right?" "Its amazing." "I guess I want her to return my feelings." "I guess I want her to love me also."

 

Leon snapped out of his observation of Ken to answer Zack, "Well she did tell me she has a thing for you. I think that she is probably just as shy as you are. One of you have to break the ice, and usualy according to traditons boys have asked girls out."

Leon felt something odd in his heart then suddenly a vision popped in his heart of him being next to Ella as she gave birth to Ken. Leon ignored the vision, knowing it was impossible for him to have been there when Ken was born. Then Leon noticed Ken had a small mole on his lip just like Leon had, "Uh....Zack, you notice both Ken and I have small moles on our lips?"

 

Zack was shocked by what he said. He looked at Leon's face and saw it. The mole. "Yeah but how?" "Its in the same color, shape, design,." "Its pratically the same." Zack couldn't believe it. This has to meant something. "But what?" Zack thought himself. "What does this have to prove?"
