Flint flew down and landed right beside Grond, sword already in hand. "Right here my lord. Let the attack begin!" he shouted, looking to the group behind him. They were one of the biggest attack forces the Black Claw Army controled. And Flint knew that this attack would be successful no matter what.

Griel thought over it. He had promised his son that he could go on an attack. But the risks were too great to send him alone. "I will permit you to go Martin. On one condition. You will go with Zawn and you will follow his every command. No matter what." he said before Martin could cut in. Griel wanted his decision to be final.

 

Zawn looked at prince Martin and said "Ok, just don't die my lord." He then walked out of the castle and towards the armery. He then turned to the lord and said "Lets pick out your weapons my young friend." He started smiling and said "With the both us on the battlefield, we'll be invicible."

Draco Slowly Woke Up. He Got Out Of His Bed And Went To The Window And Opened Them Up. It Was Mourning And The Village Was Just Starting To Get Moving. Shops Opening And Food Stands Starting To Sell The Fresh Goods. As Draco Stared Out The Window He Could Smell His Mom's Cooking. "Fried Eggs. My Favorite." Draco Said To Himself And Smiled. HE Got Dressed And Went Down Stairs To A Heartfelt Breakfast. After E Was Done Eating He Ask His Mom, "Can I Go To The Elder's, For More Training Today?" And To Which His Mom Replied, "Yes, Hun. Just Don't Get Hurt Like Last Time." Draco Grinned As He Remembered What Happened. He Then Said, "Don't Worry I'll Be Fine..." As He Dismissed The Thought.

~At The Elder's~

"Awww, Come on, Just One More Spell For Today. Please???" Draco Said Really Hoping To See And Maybe Learn A New Spell. The Elder "Not Today, Sonny. I'm Pooped. These Old Bones Are Not What They Used To Be. You Head On Home For Today." The Elder Says While Massaging His Back. Draco Then Looked At The Sky And Realized The Sun Was Setting. Draco Grabbed His Sword And Spellbook, And Said, "Well I'll See You Tomorrow, Elder." As He Ran Off Down The Path.

As Draco Was Walking The Path Through The Forest He Saw Smoke Rise Over The Horizon. He Then Realized It Was Coming From His Village. He Started To Run. He Knew That Something Was Wrong. As He Neared The Village He Hoped It Was Something Like A House Fire Or Something Else That Was Small. Draco Walked Into The Entrance Of His Village And Saw Chaos. People Running And Screaming. He Saw That Three Fourths Of The Village Had Been Set On Fire. But The Question Was Who. Draco Didn't Ponder This Thought As He Quickly Ran To His House. As Soon As He Got There He Saw That It Was On Fire. Draco Burst Into The Front Door And Sees Nothing But Flames. He Saw The Stairwell Collapsed And The Top Floor Had Caved Into The First Floor. Draco Thought His Parents Left Already And He Should Leave Too. He Ran Back Out The Door And Saw The First Of The Attackers Run By. "Gargoyles?!?!" Draco Said Loud Enough So That The Gargoyle Heard Him And Turned. Draco Knew Enough About Swordplay To Defeat This One But He Knew That He Had To Run. He Had To Get Word Out About This. Draco Turned Away From The Gargoyle And Made A Break For The Entrance. He Stopped Short As He Saw Three To Five Of Them Guarding The Entrance. Draco Thought To Himself And Made The Decision Instantly. He Had To Use Magic. Draco Took Out His Spell Book And Read A Fire Spell. A Fire Ball Appeared In His Hand And Draco Used His Energy To Make It Bigger. He Closed His Spell book And Put Away With His One Free Hand. He Then Used His Now Free Hand To Concentrate More Energy Into The Ball. He Now Had A Fireball The Size Of A Horse. Draco With All His Might Threw The Flaming Ball At The Guards. They Scattered As Soon As They Saw It, But That Was Too Late. The Ball Directly Hit The First And Second One While The Third Dived To Avoid It. Draco Made A Dash Out Of The Entryway And Didn't Stop Running To He Got Far Enough Away. He Then Collapsed In Exhaustion, To His Knees. He Was Crying Now. Draco Lost Everything, Family. Friends. He Knew What He Had To Do though. Draco Composed His Self And Stood To His Feet. He Had To Tell The Army About This. With This New Drive He Started To Walk Forward. One Step. Two Steps. He Had To Get To The Capital. Draco Continued To Walk Slowly But Steady Down The Path Away From His Village...........

 

Zawn turned his head and saw smoke. He then was shocked by where the smoike was coming from. He thought "No, my old village." He then turned to Martin and said "I'll be right back." "Stay here." He then left to check out his village. While running he saw young man that was halfway from the village. Zawn stopped and said "Young man, what happened?"

 

Flint slowly turned away from the scene, taking it all in chaos. The village was now in ruins. He gently unfolded his wings and jumped into the air. He soared up into the sky and looked down at the village. Flint saw no movement apart from the Black Claw Army and few survivors. Flint dived down and drove his sword into a human. The man was pinned to the ground, his eyes widened in surprise. Flint broke his neck and removed his sword just in time to block a sword strike. Flint knocked the sword away from the fighter and cut his head off.

 

Draco Looked Up As A Man Came Running Down The Path. He Heard The Man Ask What Happened And Draco Replied, "The...Vill...Age....Is...Gone. The....Gargoyles Attacked It...Fire..everywhere...My Family..Is...Gone..." Draco Couldn't Stand Anymore. He Collapsed To The Ground And Started To Cry. He Knew That He Was Acting Like A Baby, But He Lost Everything. Draco Looked Up To The Man Again And Said, "I'm...One...Of..The...People..That..Escaped..." Draco Takes A Breath Then Continued, "...There..May..be..More Survivors....You...Need..to...Help...them..." Draco Then Laid Down Unconscious. the Last thing He Remembered Before His Eyes Closed Was The Symbol Of The Human Army.....

 

Zawn saw the boy collapsed and said "I will save them but first I have to keep you safe." He then carried the boy off to some bushes and said "Stay here, I'll be back." He then left kid and headed off towards the village. Once he was at the village, he saw gargoyles and a man. He then said "What have yu done to this village?"

 

Flint turned slowly at the sound of the voice. He saw a man standing there, dressed in Amarian armor. He had the look of a general. Flint knew who it was. "General Zawn, I pressume?" Flint stepped forward. "I have heard some interesting things about you. You seem to have upset a dear friend of mine. A certain Grough."

 

Zawn looked at the man and said "Yes, I know of Grough." Just as he kept looking at the man, he went into shock. "You're.... Flint." He stood gazing at the man who had blood on him. "Flint.... oh no." He then shook his fear away and said "Why did you do this Flint?" He then brought his swords up at Flint and said "You monster!"

 

Flint laughed. The despair this man was showing made him feel like the plan was going perfect. Flint stepped forward, unfolding his wings to their fullest extent. "Yes, I am Flint. But I am not the monster. You humans are the true monsters. And it is my job to destroy monsters."

 

Zawn showed a lot of anger towards Flint. He then said "How dare you!" "These people did nothing wrong." "I swear that I will slay you Flint with these 2 blades." He then started charging towards Flint with anger and sorrow in his heart.

Grough was watching what happened from a far. He then said "Zawn, you'll never beat Flint." He then started walking towards the site and said "I am the one who will kill you, Zawn." He then pulled out his axe and said "ZAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWN!"

 

Flint backflipped out of the way, feeling Grough rush under him. He unfurled his wings and stayed in the air, letting them fight. Looking over, he saw the Amarian Prince rush the Black King. Fool. he thought. Flint rose up in the air and soared down to the ground, landing behind Martin. He wasn't going to attack Martin, since the boy was no match for Grond. But he turned to the soldiers that came with Martin. It was three on one, and Flint was liking the odds.
He jumped up and kicked one in the face, jumping off him and driving his sword into the second soldier. The grabbed the other by the neck and broke it, dropping the body to the ground. He drew his staff and shoved it through the last soldiers stomach.

 

Draco Slowly Opened His Eyes And Saw That He Was Moved From Path And Into A Bush. He Heard Clangs Off In The Distance. HE Knew That The Humans Were Clashing Against The Gargoyles. Draco Knew That He Had To Do Something. It Was His Village. He Quickly accessed The Situation. Draco KNew two fire, ice, and lightning spells. And He Knew How To Bind His Magic. Draco Thought That He Could Take At Least 6 Gargoyles Before He Collapsed Again. Draco Shouted Into The Surrounding Forest, "I DOn't Care!!! I Will Save Them!!!!" Draco Binded His Ice Magic To His Sword And The Charged Towards The Entrance Of The Village....

~At The Village~

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH" Draco Said As He Charged Through The Entrance, And Into A Group Of Gargoyles. He Slashed Their Chests And Scarred Their Armor. With That Attack He Kill Two Out Of Eight. Draco Then Casted A Ice Spell And Shot It At The Gargoyles. It Hit Two Of Them And Froze Them. Draco Slashed Them Both And They Shattered Into Pieces. The Other four That Were Left Stared In Surprise. In That Moment Draco Ran Around To Their Backs And Jumped. He Landed On The First With His Blade Stabbed Through The Back Of Its Neck. He Then Slashed Out Ward Cutting The Throat Of The Second One. The Other Two Had No Time To React. Draco Had Jumped To The Ground And While Slashing The Gargoyles On The Way Down. He Then Slid Across The Ground. Draco Looked Up And Saw Several More Gargoyles Looking At Him. Draco Got Up Just As They Started To Run Over To Him. He Ran Towards One Of The Burnt Buildings. As He Was Running. He Tripped On A Loose Rock. The Gargoyles Quickly Came Over Him. After That He Passed Out. The Next Minute He Was Holding His Unsheathed Sword. And All The Soldiers We Dead Around Him. Draco Stumbled Forward Dizzily. His Legs Buckled And He Fell To The Ground And Used His Sword To Prevent Himself From Falling Over. He Then Fell Unconscious.........

 

Zawn clashed weapons with Grough. He then looked at him and said "Stop this Grough!" Grough looked at him and said "You fool, I promised I will kill you." Zawn then knocked Grough's weapon out his head and slashed his arm. He then looked around and saw the kid from before is now unconscious. He then looked towards Martin and said "Prince Martin, take the kid and leave, I'll follow." He then took the hilt of his sword and knocked Grough on his head.

 

Xawned started to heading out of the village. When he was at the gate he heard a noise. He looked back and noticed that it was Grough gettign up and yelling for him. "ZAWWWWWWWWWWN!" "How dare you!" He then grabbed hix axe ran towards Zawn. Zanw stared and said "Grough you fool!" He then brought out his sword and charged towards the raging gargoyle.

 

Flint landed on the ground, looking around. He instantly felt a surge of magic in the area, but he could not find the source. Flint ducked a sword and ran his into the mans head. Then, Flint jumped in the air onto a building. The archers started to scatter, but Flint jumped forward, grabbing one by the neck and flinging him off the building. Suddenly, Flint saw the old man and Grond. The magic was coming from the old man. Flint soared off the building and landed near the fight.
