The New Organization

*LOL whatever Amy. We'll just say her vote was for trying to end it peacefully. Let's not make things complicated near the end of the RP.*

Jaxx sighed and looked at the ground, "Well..." she looked at Hunter, "You have any ideas? I'm not exactly as experienced in 'losing' as you are." she said in an almost teasing way. She figured the choice was made and there was no changing anyone's minds. They had a high chance of dying but why did their last moments have to be grim. She was deturmined to lighten the mood if it killed her. What did it matter anyway right? She smiled a little though she was afraid of what was going to happen next, one thing she was sure of is that even if they were goingto die, there was no chance that she wasn't going to see them again. She would fight through anything she had to, even death, to bring herself, Hunter, Page, Voltiar, and Blake back together. Who knows, maybe they would even be brought back someday.

 

Jaxx nodded as well and stood next to her friends. She pulled out her katanas but didn't say anything. They weren't worth her words. Her last words would be to her friends she would not waste her breath on these selfish enemies.

Kat heard the messenger tell her that they would not comply and was sad. She appeared next to Jack sword drawn. She looked like she really didn't want to do what she was about to do but she had no choice. She looked at Voltiar, "I'm sorry, I tried but..." she shook her head and looked at her enemies and then back at Jack, "I told you already I will not have my brother's blood on my hands. And Voltiar has nothing to do with this organization, he doesn't need to die."
She whistled and then people came out of the shadows everywhere all pointing weapons of all sorts at Jaxx, Hunter, Voltiar, Blake, and Page.

 

Kat looked at the ground, she spoke through her mind so that only Voltiar, Jaxx, Hunter, Page, and Blake could hear her. "I truly am sorry about this Voltiar. We can't say we didn't try..." with that, she pulled out her bow and took an arrow from out of thin air so it seemed. It was always the job of the leader of the assasin team to take out the leader of their enemy first. The bad thing was, she wasn't sure wether her target was Hunter or Jaxx. She suddenly had an idea and pointed the bow at Jaxx so quickly that it seemed that time stood still. She fired the arrow at the speed of light directly at Jaxx's heart. She shook her head, "Sorry little brother but this is the only way to save the rest of your friends..."

 

Kat had known Hunter would protect Jaxx and she also knew that he would miscalculate the speed of the arrow just slightly. She had shot it to appear that it was going slower than it actually was. She would have just shot right at Hunter but she knew that she would miss just because according to her contract, she was not able to kill Hunter head on. She lowered her bow and it dissapeared. "Voltiar Now!" she quickly used telepathy to explain to him what she just did and that now that Hunter was dying at her hand the contract was termanated.

Jaxx was shocked, time seemed to slow down and just keep rewinding as Hunter took her arrow. She simply could not accept that it had happened. She shook her head as she finally got control of herself again. "Hunter No!" but it was too late, he was already shot. She knelt down next to him and broke the shaft off of the arrow, acting quickly. She somehow knew it was hopeless. He was going to die but she wasn't going to give it up without a fight. She managed to pull the arrow out and then tried to heal him but the adrenaline of the moment was throwing off her concentration on keeping her magic right and it kept blinking on and off again. She couldn't get enough energy to heal him.

 

Jaxx shook her head, she still couldn't believe what was happening. She kept trying to wake up from whatever messed up nightmare this was but every time she opened her eyes the scene was still the same. She felt tears in her eyes start falling but she didn't do anything about them. She knew it was over, for some reason she couldn't use her magic. "Hunter you can't just die now... I can fix this..." she said in almost a pleading way. "What am I supposed to do without you?"

 

*Ya, that was pretty sad...*

Jaxx shook her head, "Hunter... I love you too." she said as she held his hand. She still couldn't believe it. He couldn't just be gone. He was Hunter, her best friend and one and only. For the first time in her entire life, she felt completely lost. Her hand tightened around the handle of his katana. She reached up and pulled her necklace off of her neck and pressed it into his hand before closing his hand around it. Rain started falling lightly like it always did when Jaxx lost control of her emotions. But it seemed to be just as confused and frozen as her as it glided more like snow lightly to the ground. She kissed him lightly though she wasn't sure if he was still alive or not until she heard his heart stop. She realized she was holding her breath and when she tried to breathe again a sob escaped her lips. She shook her head, now wasn't the time to be weak. She had a good teacher on how to smile even in the worst of situations and even though he wasn't with her in life anymore, she had to be strong for him... at least for now. She stood up, looking down at the ground. She picked up Hunter's blade and leaving her own on the ground. His sword was a lot heavier than hers but she didn't even seem to notice. If anything, it felt more right than her own. She looked up at her enemies as lighting struck in the sky reflecting off of her eyes and the steel of the sword she now carried. She didn't even seem to notice that Kat and Voltiar were gone. Though she was sure she would cross blades with Kat again soon enough. Her main focus was Jack as he stood there almost laughing at the scene before him. Though she stood alone in front of an army that must have been nearly one thousand she was not afraid. If they killed her then at least she could go be with Hunter again that much sooner. Besides, though Hunter was dead she knew he wasn't gone. She could almost feel him with her. She wasn't alone, he was there with her as she faced her new challenge and she would get through it. She spun the blade once in her hand the way she always did when she was taunting an enemy to attack first. "...Lets play." she said softly as the assasins began to move toward her. She raised the sword, ready to take on the world.

Kat and Voltiar had managed to get Blake and Page to come with them. She knew Jaxx would have wanted to talk alone with Hunter. Besides, they had something bigger to attend to. They were now in the assasin's headquarters. Kat looked back at Voltiar, Blake, and Page. "We need to get to the main weapon's storeroom right away." she said urgently.

 

Jaxx dodged to the left and rolled forward, tripping the guy that had tried to attack her from the front before stabbing him in the back. She waved her hand in the direction of Hunter's body and it dissapeared. She faced her enemies with dull fury in her eyes and then attacked, killing three of them with one strike of a lightning bolt. The army suddenly backed off, forming a small curcle around Jaxx and their leader Jack. She understood what was going on. She got in a defensive stance. Jaxx didn't say a word. The breath that it would take to speak to Jack was breath that would be waisted. She didn't care for vengeful words, all she wanted was to see Jack dead so she could go for Kat next. She raised an eyebrow and held out her hand toward Jack and curled her fingers inward as if beckoning him to her.
