The New Organization

Jaxx couldn't help but be curious but she still wasn't letting herself get her hopes up just yet. "Sounds great. Whats the catch?" she asked after a moment.

 

Jaxx shook her head, "Then it defeats the purpose doesn't it. Let me guess, with this opportunity to gain our hearts back, an enemy organization that wants our deaths or our help also comes?"

 

*LOL we're going to fast forward this conversation if thats ok with you. Anyone who is curious can read the previous conversation with Kat. Unless you want to continue this scene, then we can. I don't care really.

If Fast forwarding:*

Jaxx sighed, "This is a lot to think about Voltiar... but you and Kat are right. We are severely outnumbered. I know the others and I know you, all of us would die before joining the organization that killed Blake. I don't want anything to happen to them." she looked at the ground, "Let me go talk to the others..." she agreed with Voltiar and Kat but it was still alot to give up. What if Voltiar didn't succeed in bringing them back together again. What if when they got their hearts back, their emotions changed as well. Would she and Hunter realize that they didn't love eachother after all. What if.... she shook her head, not wanting to think about it anymore. This was the only way to save their lives. Besides, she was sure that no matter what, everyone would stick together. The bonds they had formed were just too strong to not think so. They would find eachother again no matter what, just like Semnax found Jaxx, 'So will we.' she thought to herself.

 

Jaxx nodded, she was scared and she wasn't sure if she wanted to trust Hunter's sister but she trusted Voltiar more than mostly everyone she knew. "This will take a lot of explanation and proof before the others will agree..." she opened a portal and she and Voltiar stepped through it to the roof where the organization would always meet when there was an issue at hand. "Blake! Page!..." she hesitated "Hunter!" she called. "Everyone, please... this is important." she said, knowing they would all hear her either in their minds or just normally because she called it telepathicly as well as vocally. She tried to get a hold of herself before they showed up but worry and anxiety was all over her expression.

 

Jaxx looked at the ground when she called and she didn't look up when Hunter came. In a way, at the same time as helping them, she felt like she was betraying them. "I'll tell you when Blake and Page show up." she said.

 

Jaxx looked up and looked at the faces of each of her friends in turn. It was hard to look at any of them but it was expecially hard to look at Hunter because she was afraid she would never see any of them again. She thought that maybe she and Hunter wouldn't have to be a part of Voltiar's plan. It was really only Blake that Kat's organization was interested in but she felt selfish when she thought about it. Could she and Hunter really do that to Page and Blake and leave themselves out? Everything was getting so complex and hard. She forced herself to look strong despite how scared and confused she was. She was about to go with Voltiar's tactic and say the good side of the plan before bringing up the bad news that comes with it but then she realized that she couldn't get all their hopes up just to bring them right back down by saying there was a chance they would never see eachother again. Instead she looked at each of them square in the eyes in turn and then said, "Page is right... today is the end of the organization, the end of our friendship, and possibly the end of us." her hands were shaking, she hoped Hunter woudn't take her hand and notice. Now wasn't the time for them to know she was scared. She had to be strong to give them hope. "We have gotten just too invincible and we have attracted an enemy that I fear we can not win against. They outnumber us one hundred to one and even one of the middle ranking members was equally matched with one of our greatest fighters. If we go up against them, I have no doubt that we will die." she paused for a moment, letting them think about what she had just said as they may before she continued "But it doesn't have to be that way. We have a choice before us now. Road number one says we get our hearts back, but we forget everything we are and maybe someday run into eachother again and remember everything. In that road we would have to put all of our trust in Voltiar and Kat." she hesitated a little before saying Kat but she had to be honest with them down to the last detail. They deserved to know everything they were getting into. "Road number two leads to us still dying and the chances of us meeting eachother again in this life die with us. But at least we would die fighting and we would die together." she paused but this time it was more so that she could get control of her emotions more than for them. She looked at all of them again her eyes lingered on Voltiar and then at Hunter. "It's up to you four. I will do whatever you want to do."

 

Jaxx realized she was the last to put in her oppinion. She looked up, "Voltiar is right... the smarter thing to do would be to get our hearts back. But the thought of life without you guys is scarier to me than the thought of dying." she almost changed her mind when she thought that she might have to watch her friends die. She shook her head and continued talking, "I say we started this together and we should finish this together. My vote is that we fight."
