The New Organization

Jaxx nodded, 'don't make me regret it.' she said with her eyes.

 

Kat fell to her knees and then rolled forward so that he couldn't stab his blade any deeper. She was losing a lot of blood but she had found out all she needed. 'Find out how strong he has gotten.' she remembered. "Never remembered you to be the kind of guy to stab family." she said with a half smile as she wipped blood from her lip. "Anyway, I'll see you around." she waved and then allowed herself to fall backwards off the clock tower. She dissapeared in mid-air.

Kat appeared in a bright room. She felt someone heal her injuries.
"That was quicker than expected." someone said.

Kat shook her head, "I was careless. So sue me." she said irritably.

"Too careless. If he had gotten any angrier, you probably woundn't have gotten out of there alive."

Kat just shook her head and stood up, "Oh brother! You with your dramatics."

Jaxx watched Kat dissapear and then looked at Hunter.

 

Fire erpted around some poor guys body, burning him alive before he died and dissapeared. His screams still echoed through the large room as Kat saw the door open and a hooded guy step into the door. He looked at the ashen remains of whoever had last ticked Kat off,
"You really need to work on that temper of yours..." he said though he laughed.

Kat brushed some dust off her sleeve, "He was asking for it."

"So how did you little family reunion go?"

Kat rolled her eyes, "I wish people would stop asking me that." she said irritably, "Hunter got stronger since he was the brat I knew. It's no suprise that he's done so good at protecting little miss princess for so long. Voltiar is strong too. Our best target right now would probably be Blake."

"And Jaxx and Page?"

"Hey, I already said I wasn't harming innocent bystanders. I don't think either of them know anything about this though Jaxx seems to know a little about Jaxon."

The guy shrugged, "Well thats only to be expected. He only keeps the dangerous truths from her. Knowing who the guy was really isn't a threat."

"Was? Are you indicating that Jaxon really is dead?"

"Uh-huh, In order to get past the organization that Jaxx runs, we have to get pat them and messing with Hunter's head is the best way of doing so. As long as he's destracted, so is she. We can take the others out no problem and we wont have to hurt your 'innocent bystanders'."

Jaxx walked over to Hunter and held him back before he could fall off the edge too. She healed him all the way, "She's still alive isn't she?"

 

Jaxx held out her hand to Hunter to help him stand up. "We should get out of here... besides, Page is consious again. I don't know about you guys but I want to know how she's doing." she said, not sure how else to make him feel a little better.

Kat nodded "Fine. Just remember my terms. I'll help you, and I don't really care if any of them die but I will not have my brother's blood on my hands." she said flattly.

There were three people with her now, a middle aged woman with a gentle looking expression, a boy that couldn't be older than thirteen, and a man with blonde hair. The man nodded, "Understood. None of us are forcing you to do anything and your repeating of your terms is getting a little old."

Kat looked at him with a fierce expression, "I said I wasn't going to kill Hunter. I have no problem with ending you so don't push your luck."

The woman put a hand on her sholder, "I think you've killed enough people within the organization, don't you think?"

The boy nodded, "Ya, people are starting to talk Kat. And what they are saying aint good."

Kat shrugged her sholder out of the woman's grip and looked at the kid, "What people are talking?" she demanded.

"Pretty much everyone whose friends you've burned with your firetouch."

Kat rolled her eyes, "Oh? And what are they saying?" she asked in an uninterested tone.

The boy looked uncomfortable, "Well... with you not wanting to kill some specific enemies and then your killing some people within this organization... some are thinking you are a double aigent."

The gentle looking woman shot the boy a scolding look, "It's not as bad as he says so Kat. Maybe if you just controlled your temper just a little..."

Kat interrupted her, "I don't give a damn what they think."

 

Kat was shocked, but also dismayed, she didn't want to hurt Voltiar and she realized that was exactly what she had done by trying to prevent it. She knocked his hand away, though being more gentle about it than she would have been with someone else. The others were watching her, she couldn't show any weakness. "You were an easy target so I took the opportunity."
Someone behind her snickered. Voltiar was the only person who could see her face, she attempted to tell him everything through her eyes but she was almost certain it wouldn't work.

 

Kat saw the guarded look forming in his eyes. She wasn't sure what to do, she didn't stop Voltiar from hurting the guy who snickered. The jerk probably deserved it anyway. She saw some other people taking action though. She looked around and held out her hand to stop them. "Stop!" she said to them in a threatining way that made all of them stop in their tracks. She saw some of them giving her weird looks, and she covered up her action by adding more to what she said, "This is my mistake. Let me fix it by myself." She saw the blonde guy nod and Kat pulled out her sword, maybe she could find a way to talk to him in a secretive way durring the fight. She hoped so anyway. "Now's the time to prove it to me that you aren't an easy target after all."

Jaxx helped Hunter to his feet and then looked at the others with her, Hunter, Crystal, and Jordon. She wasn't sure what to say or do, she took Hunter's hand but didn't say anything to him that she hadn't said already. She opened a path and they walked through it to Blake and Page who looked astonished.

 

Kat attacked Voltiar with blinding speed but she knew he would block her. It wasn't all that hard of an attack, "Voltiar, You weren't even supposed to get into this mess and I deffinately didn't mean to get you hurt."

 

Kat sighed, she didn't know what she was thinking but she had to do something. She couldn't kill him. She put her sword down, "For now you are an innocent. That means I cannot touch you and neither can anyone here while I am here." she said, "Let's keep it that way." she said, her voice was cold but her eyes were pleading, "Leave now so I don't have to kill you."
Then she said telepathicly, "If you want answers... meet me at the hundred acre wood in an hour."

 

Kat wasn't suprised by the mistrust in Voltiar's eyes. In fact, she had been counting on it. If Voltiar had shown any sign that he trusted her still, people would start getting even more suspicious than they already were. Though she couldn't stop herslef from being hurt by it somewhere deep down.
Someone behind her cleared his throat, tearing her away from her thoughts. It was the blonde guy.
"So. No going after him? Isn't that going to tick your boss off a litte?"
Kat shrugged, "Why would it? It's not Voltiar he has an issue with. It's Hunter, Blake, and Page."

 

Blondey just laughed, "Ok, If you say so. But something tells me you liked being 'Jade'."
Kat threw a knife at him which he dodged. "Don't make me hurt you."
He just smirked, "Like you could..." Kat made a fierce face at him that made him shut up mid-sentance. Kat nodded, "Ya, that's what I thought you said." she said darkly.
*About an hour later*
Kat was sitting on the swing at hundred acre wood. She couldn't stay long. She hoped Voltiar thought to keep the meeting secret from his friends. Hunter was pretty ticked off, she was sure he wouldn't be too happy about this. She herself didn't have a whole lot of time. Her superiors didn't even know she was gone.
