    Kat shrugged, "Annoying but I love him anyway." she tried make it sound like any normal girl would say about her brother. This time she had to full out lie. She was an expert at it so she was sure he wouldn't notice.

    Kat thought about it for a moment, "No I don't think so..." she said thoughtfully. she had thought that she was supposed to be back at the base but she wasn't sure how that had changed after Theo came. *We'll just say that Theo is the name of the hooded guy that keeps bugging Kat.*
    She assumed that she wasn't needed back home anymore because of the new assignment. She shook her head, "No." she said more surely with a smile.

    "Do you wanna go eat ice cream on top of the clock tower?" Voltair asked her, "I know it sounds strange, but there is something dfferent about eating it there."

    "Great," Voltair smiled. He dissapeared for a moment, but came back with two ice cream bars. He picked up Kat and started flying to the clock tower.

    They got to the clock tower, and Voltair set her down gently. He handed her one of the ice cream bars. "Ya know, I have some friend I think you should meet sometime. They are really great people. I think they would like you."

    Kat shrugged, "I'm sure they would." she said before realizing that some sarcasum had slipped into her tone. She cursed herself for it mentally and then smiled, "What are they like?"

    "Well, there is Jaxx. She is kind of hard on her self because she believes it was her fault that this group of her's got destroyed. There is Hunter. He is difficult to explain. There are times that he has anger problems, and times that he is really nice. I suppose that the person who understands him best would be Jaxx," Voltair was explaining to her. He never even noticed the sarcasim in her voice, "There is also Page, Jaxx's best friend. Page seems to be the most sympathetic out of them all, and I doubt she likes fighting much. And there is Blake. I guess he is the same to Hunter as Page is to Jaxx."

    "Of course." But then Voltair thought for a moment, "Although there was this one time where it seemed like Hunter and Blake had betrayed us, even though they didn't willingly do it."

    Kat nodded understanding his logic. "Just be careful... trust can be a funny thing sometimes." she said distantly. She looked at the sun, twilight now as it has been forever and probably forever will be. Funny how things like that would never change but the things that you wish were different, you knew would be the same forever.
    She smiled a little, "Wow... I never really saw it this way. It's beautiful." she said with a small smile.

    Voltair opened up a portal and walked through it. They were on a hill and it was night. It was a full moon and so many stars were out. There was a tree on the hill with a swing on it.

    The amazement in her expression wasn't pretend this time as Kat looked around. Kat had to keep reminding herself that Voltiar was a bad guy, an enemy. She smiled, looking around, "Where are we?" she asked. Though they were alone, it felt wierd to talk loud so what she said came out as a whisper.
