The New Organization

Kat ran up to the nearest building and ran a few steps up the wall, kicked off of it, kicked off of the neighboring building and flipped onto the roof. She walked casually over to the edge and jumped lightly to the next one.

"How did things go?" someone asked from behind her.

She turned around quickly and saw someone who'se face was shrowded by the hood of his cloak.
She smiled, "Oh great. Nearly killing your brother is always a fabulous past time." she said sarcasticly.

The man chuckled and walked up to her, "You know what I meant beautiful."

Katt made a face. He knew she hated it when she called her that, "All of them are tied dangerously close to their emotions. When I stoped to say hi to Hunter her totaly freaked out so I think he is still at least a little intimidated by me."

*Oathkeeper if you or someone else wants to make a profile for the guy Kat is talking to I would appreciate it.*

Kat and the other guy were walking up the steps of the abandoned mansion.

"That kid..."

"What kid?"

"Making friends with the enemy already?" he asked, knowing that she would know he was talking about Voltiar.

Kat shook her head, "Don't be stupid. I was being nice to him so I wouldn't blow my cover. He caught me by suprise. It won't happen again."

"Hm. See that it doesn't. I'm not sure Jaxon would be too happy about it..." he laughed. "Anyway bye Jade." he said the name Jade mocking her voice and batting his eyes.

"Shut up!" she moved to punch him but her hand hit nothing as he dissapeared last moment. "Damn..." she muttered as she walked out the door, through the forest and back into Twilight Town.

A few hours later she was on the sky scraper. *Where Roxas, Hayner, Pence, and Olette go all the time in game two.* She was sitting there watching people and trams go by with a bored look on her face.

Jaxx smiled a little, "We should get back to the others. With our luck, theres no telling who is going to get attacked next." she handed the note back to Hunter but kept the arrow. "I'm hoping Page can get some kind of empathic read off of it." she explained.

 

Kat looked down and saw a bunch of people gathering around a pair of kids hitting eachother with what looked like toy swords. She smiled a little, so that was a struggle tournament.

 

Kat recognised a suprised looking Voltiar get pushed up to the arena. She still looked bored but she smiled a little. The kid that kept winning was pethetic compared to other fighters she had seen. She wondered how well Voltiar would fair against him.

 

Kat smiled a little, he took the kid down in 40 seconds flat. She smirked as she jumped off of the sky scraper and landed on her feet on one of the nearby buildings. She was still well hidden as she walked closer to the arena to get a better look. She knew she was needed back at the base soon but she wasn't big on following orders. Besides, Voltiar was the enemy right? So why not watch what he could do. She stepped off of the side of the roof and into the crowd of people watching the match, sticking to the shadows so she wouldn't be seen.

 

The man she was talking to earlier appeared behind Kat. "Hey." he whispered making her jump a little.

"What do you want?" she asked, annoyed.

"I told the higher athorities about your little stunt and guess what? They actually liked it. How would you like to become this Jade girl for a while?"

Kat rolled her eyes, watching Voltair try helplessly to get through the crowd of adoring fans. "What are you talking about?"

The guy laughed a little, "Well the boss thinks that getting close to them would be a good idea. You know, take them out from the inside."

Kat shook her head, "Thats sick! Its one thing to kill my own brother, its completely a different thing to do it in such a low way."

"Hey it wasn't my idea. You don't like it, take it up with Jaxon." he said with humor in his voice. He knew as well as she that crossing Jaxon was never a smart idea.

"Hunter will recognise me emmediately." she argued. "He's no ideot."

"And you're saying that Jaxon is? Don't worry cutie we have all this figured out." he suddenly threw a potion at her. She caught it without taking her eyes off of Voltiar and the crowd.

"What is it?"

"Something cool that Nazomi came up with in his studies. Take it and you'll look the same to Volt over there and completely different to the others."

 

Kat took the potion was was still arguing with the hooded guy. "Smart idea and all but what if Hunter.... I don't know.... pulls out a family album or something.

The guy chuckled and started pushing Kat in Voltiar's direction. "Oh thats sweet. You think that Hunter would keep a picture of the half sister that made his childhood hell."

Kat shrugged, "Well you knever know, maybe it makes a good dart board or something..." she was going to say more when the guy dissapeared again, "Damn I hate it when he does that..." she muttered. She rolled her eyes and walked up quietly behind Voltiar.

"...You could give it to that kid that you creamed back there to make him not feel so bad about losing in forty seconds flat." she suggested with a smile. She wasn't sure if she had startled him or not.

 

Kat shrugged, "Oh, I may have caught the end." she said casualy with a smile.

 

Kat smiled, "Ya, just had to take care of my brother thats all." she said. Technically that wasn't lying. She didn't know why it displeased her so much to lie to Voltair. Maybe it was because he didn't deserve it.
