The New Organization

One of the men just laughed, "We hated that bastard just as much as you did. The only thing that kept me from killing him was the fact that it would piss off Crimson." Blake recognised the man's name to be Shad.
Blake smirked and took the fact that he paused to talk to his own advantage. He slashed across his chest, a wound too deep to heal by magic. "Goodbye, Shad."

 

Page was starting to lose her connection with Jaxx. She tried to streingthen it but all that happened was it got worse. She moaned, "I can't watch her anymore. Theres something wrong..." she said.

Blake paused in his fighting to look at her, "Is she ok?"

Page nodded, "I... think so. I can't see her anymore. Crimson must not want us interfering at all."

Blake nodded, "If anything goes wrong, she'll find a way to contact us." he pulled up his sword and fought again.

Hunter looks over at Blake as he killed the guy he was fighting, "Hey make sure to at least keep one of these guys alive we need answers!" He said as he jumped back and the blade of Jonas' sword cut through his shirt just missing the skin. "Alright play time is over." Hunter said with a growl as he jumps forward driving his knee hard into his face causing Jonas to drop his blade.

 

*lol again?*

Page shivered slightly as she tried to reconnect her empathic connection with Jaxx. "Damn it..." she muttered.

Blake blocked an attack that was meant for Page just before someone would have slashed down her back. He pushed her out of the way against the wall. "I'm sure she's fine. Stop stressing." he insisted.

Hunter walks over to Jonas on the floor and looks at his bloody face. "You and your friends were always pathetic, how did you guys think you could take us?"

Jonas just laughed and smiled, "You think were the leaders? We are just the lowest servants, the weakest ones in the group. You have no idea how strong our leader is. He has really been wanting to see you again. You remember Jaxon dont you?"

Hunters eyes went wide for a bit as he remembered Jaxon. "My........my protege? But hes......dead....."

 

*Your what? Who is Jaxon?*

Blake walked up next to Hunter, "Nobody stays dead for long around here do they..." he said dully.

 

Hunter was lost in a hell storm of emotions as he just thought back to Jaxon. He started to have flashbacks of finding him alone and taking him under his wing. Training him and teaching him everything he knows, then remembering the first mission he did all on his own. "I told him he wasnt ready but he wouldnt listen..........he never came back......all we ever found was his headband stained with blood. I never took another under my wing again after him."

 

Blake nodded that was something he didn't think about a lot.

Page almost didn't understand Hunter's emotions. She didn't like reading into them so she blocked them out.

Blake looked at Jonas, "Jaxon wouldn't turn on us... not on Hunter. You are a liar."

Hunter all of sudden screams in rage, eyes dark red as he jumps on to Jonas and just starts to tears into him with his blade before throwing them aside and punching, ripping apart Jonas until he was a bloody heap before Hunter snapped out of it breathing hard covered blood. ".............sorry you had to see that......."

 

Page flinched, at one point Hunter's emotions overwhelmed her mental shield against them. "... I'm sorry you had to feel that." she muttered incoherently. She already knew what they were talking about because despite the shield against them that she was trying to hold, Hunter's and Blake's emotions behind the memories were too strong for her to force them out. Memories and thoughts of Hunter's protege kept finding their way into her mind. She focused her attention on trying to reconnect with Jaxx to block it out. "..."

Blake acted as it wasn't an unusual thing for Hunter to lose it like that. Either that or he knew the whole story already and didn't expect anything less. He shrugged, "You don't really think Jonas was being truthful do you Hunter? We both saw..." he didn't finish that sentance "...Anyway even if he did live, Jaxon wouldn't..." *Again couldn't bring himself to finish the sentance.*

Umm... you would have to ask Hope about what happened to him.

 

"Thanks," Voltair said as he took it. He opened a portal, "I will be as quick as I can, just hold on for as long as possible." Voltair ran through the portal, heading to where the chain told him to go.

 

Hunter face becomes stoney as he turns to Blake, "If Jaxon is back and gets in the way i will take him down like i would anyone else. The bond we had before is dead now." He said while running his hand over the handle of his blade. "Alright where to know?"

 

Judging by Hunter's recent melt down, Page didn't belive that he didn't still have some kind of bond with the kid in the memories... "Damn it! Stop reading his emotions!" she thought to herself. She looked away because she was afraid that seeing his eyes would only make it harder to block him out.

Blake didn't seem to belive him much either but didn't want to chase the subject. Not that he was afraid of annother episode, he was sure he could fend for himself just fine against Hunter when he was freking out, but he didn't want to open up old wounds that talking about Jaxon would have brought. He wasn't sure what to say so he procrastinated a little by focusing on Jaxx and Voltiar, pretending to be concerned about them. When he senced Jaxx's recent power loss, the concern turned real. He looked at Page, "You might want to go see if she's ok..."
He looked at Hunter again as Page opened a portal and left without a word, grateful to get away from the emotional train wreck that both Hunter and Blake were trying to control but still giving her a migrane.
"Whoever it is leading this little gang, when they see the damage we've done in here, they'll see that we aren't that open of a target to mess with. Either they'll leave us alone after this or strike back, harder."

 

Page shrugged, "Hunter lost his temper but thats hunter for ya." she said, downplaying the situation.
"Blake sent me to check on you."
