The New Organization

Jaxx pushed the door open, it clashed against the wall loudly a she walked into the room. Papers were scattered everywhere. "I'm talking about Ansem the Wise. He did studies on Kingdom Hearts and nobodies... I'm hoping to find out something from his research that could help us. Help me." she knelt down and started gathering the scattered papers all over the floor and desk.

 

Jaxx shook her head, "Probably not... If it weren't for him, I would probably be dead by now anyway. I really had no interest in my life before him. Ryan was constantly stopping me from... uh, nevermind. The fact is... he can't die and I cant cause him pain by dying and leaving him behind. It wouldn't be right... I owe him that much."

 

Jaxx didn't answer for a while, reading over the research papers they had gathered. A few minutes passed before she answered Page's question with a question of her own, "Would that make any difference? I still have to do what's right."

 

Jaxx just shook her head, "I wouldn't be considering this at all if I knew there was no way to keep me from dying. I promised Hunter I would keep myself and him alive and I won't let him down. But in order for me to do that, I need you to let me concentrate."...

*For the next few hours, Page and Jaxx hardly spoke at all unless Jaxx told Page to go find her a certain book or look something up on Ansem's computer for her. Jaxx was constantly circeling and crossing things out in Ansem's notes. She drew different objects and wrote notes of her own. Every once in a while she would leave and not tell page where she was going, only to come back several hours later, sometimes injured, sometimes with a triumphant look on her face and other times she come back and tear whole pages from her notes.
occasionaly, Jaxx would try and explain what she was thinking to page only to have page not understand a word she was saying.*

... Jaxx suddenly threw the book she was reading across the room. It banged loudly against the opposite wall before crashing to the floor, pages down. "This is infuriating! Everytime I get so close to figuring this out, I fail again!" she stood up and walked to the window. It was raining hard outside. "And everytime I try to concentrate, I start thinking about Hunter! Where the hell is he?" she realized she was shouting and tried to talk normally again. As a result, she was almost whispering. "He knows we're in trouble... he must know by now that Tom sent him on a mission for nothing so why hasn't he come back now?"

 

Jaxx leaned against the wall, She glared, "The only problem is that I really don't have the patience to go find him. Besides, Hunter's freaked out about Semnax enough as it is. I really don't want to open that back up again."

 

Jaxx was startled by Crystal's sudden appearence. "That wouldn't be right... I can't lie to him like that."

 

Jaxx laughed, "Thats cheating... But it makes sence." she sighed, "Ok fine... but if Hunter comes back while I'm gone you have to cover for me without lying. Good luck with that."

 

Jaxx hesitated, but then opened a dark path and walked through it before she could change her mind.
