Jaxx again looked at Ruby "Be back here in ten minautes. Don't stop to speak to anyone." she said in the most casual tone of voice she could make herself speak in. "I have some things to pick up for now as well." before she could argue or anything Jaxx started walking to the door, "Ten minautes Ruby." she reminded her as she walked out of the room and then sprinted to where she senced Voltiar was at the entrence to the cave. She wasn't even sure if it was Voltiar or not and even though part of her was praying it wasn't, a different part of her wanted to see her old friend that she hadn't seen in three years. She pulled out on of her katanas as she ran just incase she was wrong. She stopped a few yards away from the man wearing the hood and spoke cautiously. "I don't have the time or patience for this. Are you a friend or an enemy?"

Kat and Zack started running back to the shack, hoping to be following Ruby the moment she left the shack so they wouldn't lose track of her.

 

Jaxx emmediatly put the katana away when she saw his face. Voltiar did look quite a bit different but she could feel that there was no darkness or evil within him though she could still feel the other evil presences somewhere on the island. "Voltiar." it felt strange saying his name after avoiding even thinking about him or the others for nearly a year. She walked up to him "It's good to see you too." she said, "I can't say I haven't missed you."

 

Jaxx shrugged "Just princess of heart stuff I guess." she said casually. "It's strange though, I haven't felt evil this strong in years." she said, shaking her head. "Something tells me that the keyhole here isn't sealed and worse, someone is here for Ruby. Kat says there is no doubt of it."

 

Jaxx smiled a little "I remain a princess of heart until Ruby understands the responcibilities she accepts from taking my powers. Until then, I still have the 'princess power'." She sort of mocked Voltiar's choice of words.

 

Jaxx nodded "I figured you would ask that but we have to hurry." she said as she walked toward the entrance of the cave. "It took you long enough to get here. You keyblade holders seem to have some sort of thrill of waiting to the last moment to show up to lock keyholes."

 

Kat rolled her eyes and jumped off a nearby rooftop. "Ya know Jaxx is going to totally freak if she finds out you caught me so lets just keep this a secret." she said, rolling her eyes.

Jaxx laughed too, despite the fact that she was worried about Ruby and whoever it was that was here, she was glad to see Voltiar. She got to the door and touched it with the palm of her hand. The surface of the door wavered a little like the surface of a pond and then a glowing keyhole appared in the middle of it.

Jaxx smiled a little "Show off." she said under her breath. She senced the evil get stronger suddenly before fading off again. She wondered if Voltiar felt it too.

 

Jaxx laughed "Well that would have been something." she said sarcasticly and rolled her eyes.
