The New Organization 2: Rematch

Jaxx glared "You wan't to make it twenty laps?" she said sternly to Ruby. She wasn't in the mood to listen to her complain right now.

 

Jaxx smirked, "Care to prove that?" she asked suddenly as she pulled out her katanas.

 

Jaxx grimaced, "You have no idea." she muttered darkly. She waited for Ruby to attack.

Kat stood back.

 

Jaxx closed her eyes and bowed her head, the ball of light dissapeared as fast as it had appeared. She looked at Ruby and held out her hand to her a gust of wind picked up and blew Ruby back. Jaxx sighed, not wanting to answer Ruby's question, "I'm not mean. Trust me what I do is the kindest thing I could do for you. You don't realize what it's like to go into this life without being prepared... how much you will lose. Thats why I am hard on you Ruby, because innocent lives will rest on your sholders when I die."

 

Jaxx glared "You apparently do not yet know what your expectations are because you complain at the simple extra lap still." She dissarmed Ruby and pinned her against the wall, "You still have a lot to learn Ruby." she let her go and stepped back, putting her katanas away "When we first began I told you that this was going to be tough. You told me you could handle it but if you feel like this is too hard for you, then don't bother staying here any longer. I don't have time to teach you if you will spend all your time whining instead of learning."

 

Jaxx nodded, she again thought she saw someone on the mountain top but when she tried to sence someone there was no one there. She put her hand down on the handle of one of her katanas -the one that looked an aquardly large size for her small frame- and sighed before looking back at Ruby. "You were supposed to practice healing using light when I left you last night. How did that go?"

Kat shook her head and decided not to interrupt Jaxx's lesson anymore. She tapped on Zack's sholder and the two of them started walking to the mountain top to investigate what they knew Jaxx saw.

 

Despite her present foul mood, Jaxx couldn't stop herself from smiling at Ruby's answer. She saw a lot of herself in Ruby which was part of the reason that she was hard on her a lot of the time. She sighed and shook her head, "A test subject that was already injured in the first place would have been a better idea." she said a little sarcasticly. "But I'm glad it seemed to work for you well enough."

Kat and Zack came to the top of the mountain and looked around at the area. They didn't find anyone or anything at first but then Kat found something on the ground. It was a knife but what interested her the most was the design on the handle. Whoever it was had made a deal with the darkness and that meant that Ruby or Jaxx or probably even both of them were in trouble. She looked back at Zack "We have to warn her."

Again she senced something dark near. She realized that whatever or whoever it was, they weren't going to leave anytime soon. Then she heard Kat's voice inside her head speaking telepathicly.

"Jaxx I don't care how you do it but we have to get Ruby out of here now. It is as we feared. People of the darkness have been here I would say no less than ten minautes ago. You are probably being watched at this moment."

Jaxx continued to pretend nothing was wrong but she knew she had to get Ruby out of danger as well. She suddenly shook her head "Ruby, run home and pack a few things. The next thing I am going to teach you is something I cannot teach you here. We are going to do some traveling today."
She looked around once but saw nobody, she looked at Ruby "Don't go near shadows. Ruby do you understand, stay in public streets on your way home and don't talk to anyone. Not even friends." she was sounding more urgent by the second. She tried to get control of her emotions.

She sent a telepathic message to Kat "I am sending Ruby home to gather her belongings. I wan't you to follow her but don't let her see you. Make sure she's safe."

Kat almost didn't believe what she was hearing "Are you mad woman!" she said telepathicly "Both you and Ruby are in huge danger here and you're going to take the time for her to go pack!?"

Jaxx actually smiled a little "Yes we'll say I am mad ok. Just don't forget what I told you to do. It seems that we have an old friend somewhere on the island. I wan't to see if he knows anything."

Kat rolled her eyes "Ok fine you're the boss I guess. Oh and tell Volt I say hi." with that she looked at Zack and started to explain what was going on.

 

*lol she wasn't talking about Voltair. She was talking about Caxz, and Carson. She knows you're at the island too thats why she sent Ruby home for a moment so that she could talk to Voltiar without Ruby knowing anything about Jaxx's past.*
