The New Organization 2: Rematch

King Mickey shook his head, "The main rule of time travel, Ruby. You must not change the past. You can look and fiture out what happened but if you change the fugure, theres no way to go back and fix it." he warned. "And the grass is never greener on the other side. You could find yourself without a mother OR a father, or when you get back your father could be back but not the way you pictured him..." he said that with a slight bit of irony in his voice. He knew something that Ruby didnt.

 

Jaxx stood up slowly, she was sure she had made it rain outside. Damn! All the sudden He comes back into her life and she's losing control of her powers again. She rolled her eyes, she was in a lot of pain about Hunter but she didn't know what to do. Page knew about this. Jaxx knew she did. Her sorrow and pain turned a little into anger as she realized that her friends had kept a secret this big from her.

Mickey shook his head... "Well I guess that would be ok but you can't talk to him or let him know you are there at all. This is important Ruby. One change in the past could ruin our whole futures."

 

Jaxx closed her eyes, again she ran through the preminition in her head. Seeing who it was doing this changed everything she felt about the mass murder. Tears fought to appear in her eyes again, it was almost as if she could see him clearly. Those eyes that she had always loved with an evil glare in them as he used the blackest of magic to destroy innocent lives. "Hunter... what's happened to you." she muttered softly. She shook her head he had done it because he was looking for her but why would he want to kill her? What could she have done to make him hate her so much? She considered for a second that he had found out about Ruby but she dismissed the thought immediately, this had nothing to do with her. He wasn't Hunter anymore. This wasn't about her feelings or his anger at nothing. This was about protecting her daughter. She sighed, looking down at the spot where Hunter's mamorial use to stand. ]she stabbed it into the ground right there, the message was engraved on the ground by it. ""You gave me your sword to protect myself but I WILL NOT use it to protect myself against you I said I loved you and I still do so understand that I can not fight over for something you THINK happened. Goodbye Hunter." Jaxx opened a portal and left the sword and her message to Hunter there.

Mickey nodded as Merlin came in and a door appeared to the past. Merlin stressed the major rule once again to Ruby. "Don't get sene. You have fifteen minautes and then we're pulling you back."

Jaxx shook her head, she didn't look at Page "My so called friends didn't tell me that the love of my life was back from the dead and out to kill us." she said as if she was reading off a list. "My d... student is reminding me of him. And did I mention that Hunter is working for the darkness because I failed to use light to heal him." her voice was raising a little with each word. "You really think that entitles me to be ok?!"

 

King Mickey suddenly put a hand out to stop Ruby, "Wait... do you remember the locket Jaxx gave you? She tole me that you never did find out how to open it."

 

Mickey smiled and handed it back to Ruby, "Have you tried since you discovered the truth about... your liniage?" he smiled, "Think about it. What was your mother's element before she devoted herself to becoming a princess of heart?"

 

*Nothing, thats great the way it is.

Mickey nodded "That was a long time ago, four years to be exact more like fourteen in your case. But the man with Jaxx is your..." he sighed and didn't finish the sentence. "His name was Hunter. Don't read too much into what you see when you go back, Ruby. We all knew him, and Jaxx knew him more than all of us. Your father was quite protective of innocent life. It doesn't matter what his face looks like, he is not the same man."
