The New Dawn 5: Shadows Awaken

"Then I guess that's Siah." Voltair said. "She's the only one I can think of."

"Of course, Raven didn't tell Siah what she needed to do until I brought Siah to the City of Dawn."

"This memory we're in... How long ago did this take place?"

 

Voltair wasn't too suprised by that. "Well, I'm 6 years younger than what I should be. Funny thing... 6 years ago is when everything started. But... Where was I at this birthday party? I don't quite recall it."

 

Saki stared, a little confused, as to why both girls were unconcious in the cell. He snapped his finger and Asalym was on the opposite side of it, laying next to him. He glared at Kiba.

"You have some strong words for somone so small." He summoned his sword, swirling with darkness. "I could kill you easily if I wanted to, and my tolerance for your talk is low. So I'd suggest you not talk like that anymore, or you could die. Seems simple enough to me."

 

Asalym was shaking. The light she taken away was infectimg ger. Her clothes, instead of black turned into a beautiful white dress and she turned into a child. She looked 8 years old and despite being unconscious, her cheeks were rosey. Emily changed into black clothes,.Her face turned pale and green lipstick was marked on her lips. She stood up and opened her eyes to see Asalym shivering.
"She took the light from my body and now it is stuck inside her" she told Saki, as she held Asalym and threw her in the cell, Kiba was in.
"I am much stronger than Asalym anyway" she said, as she closed the door.

 

*I think it's about time Calder and Siah actually got some time in*

A gentle breeze blew around Calder and Siah, tossing some leaves in the air. But, then flower petals appeared in the breeze, and were carried around by the wind to a place in front of the two, and began swirling faster, and faster, until all of a sudden, Symm was there.

"Looks like I missed something. Apparently, Harone is all THAT attentive. Hi, kiddies!"

 

Calder grimaced.
"They took Kiba and Emily..." he said, looking down.
Suddenly a gummi ship landed next to them. Sora was driving it.
"We can't waste anymore time" Calder told Symm and Siah. He ran inside and sat inside. Harone saw what was happening and went upto Siah and Symm.
"I can't leave. Nicole is pregnant and I have to look after my kids"

 

"Goddamnit. The minute my back turns something bad happens. Well, Harone, You'd better take REALLY good care of Nicole. Otherwise, you'd be shirking your duties as a father and husband. Now, if you don't mind, I have a gummi to pilot." He said, sending a grin to Harone. With all that being said, he entered the seat and took the helm.

"Just like old times, eh?"

 

Calder sighed.
"Yeah, just like good times..." Calder said, sadly. He remembered what he did to Brakdern. He killed him and continuously beat him afterwards. What was wrong with him on that day? He looked at his hand and looked at it with disgust.
"It was because I wanted to protect my friends and to make sure he would never rise again" he thought.

 

Hunter stepped through the portal Arlene opened just in time to see Porter fail as Voltair and another escaped. "Are we late?" he asked.

 

Hunter just smiled as another one of his "friends" underestimated him. "Yeah i wouldnt mind a warm up" He grinned at Arlene. "Lead the way," he said with a fake bow.

 

"I'm sorry." Voltair said. "I'm just wondering. I know I got alot to make up for. I was gone for two years. But I'm here now. And I'm gonna make it right now."

 

Symm caught the look of worry that only barely showed on her face, and sighed.

"Look, we'll find your kid brother somehow. But first, we need to rally the troops, as it were. Harone is out of commision, as well as Nicole. It appears Emily was kidnapped. . . so that leaves Voltair and Chris. Anybody else I forgot? From what I understand, the enemy has gotten some new helpers."

 

Asalym's hair turned brown and her eyes opened, seeing Kiba and Saki argue.
"Know what sounds even more simple to me? Let me and Emily go and I wont make your entire time until you die a living hell, ugly man."
She ran over to Kiba and sat down next to him.
"Don't speak to him like that. He's dangerous. Please don't be reckless, Kiba" she whispered in his ear.

Calder held her hand tightly. He never thought the darkness would return in their lifetime. He wanted to go back to the islands. He wanted to participate in the last days of school. A tear went down his face.
"Why do we have to go through this again? Why can't they just leave us alone!?" he shouted in anger.

Vanquish smiled.
"I'm not Emily anymore. Her light has finally drifted away"

 

Saki was pleased to have the return of Vanquish. He slight smirked. Then he turned his attention to Kiba, still talking tough.

"Maybe you should listen to your little partner. She's right. You see, your in a cell; I have this whole castle to myself. You'd fail at making my life a living hell because I'd just leave you." Saki chuckled. "And to let you know, if you do get annoying, I'll just kill you." He snapped his fingers and heartless formed a semi-circle around them.

"I could take your heart right now. Though you'd be a weak heartless, you'll be a something for your friends and family to kill and do my work for me."

 

"I know what you mean. But, not to be a downer, I think we should hurry. It's only a matter of time before they get to us." Voltair told Rai. "I doubt it'll take them long to learn to craft cards from their memories and chase us. You're not quite in a condition to fight yet. Let's see what happens next in this memory."
