The New Dawn 5: Shadows Awaken

"You've just got bad timing. That is all. And some other things." Voltair said. "And funny how you're telling me to go directly to my probable death. Oh well. I promised I'd end the fighting. No matter the cost." Voltair flew off towards Siah.

 

Anselm stepped inside the shadows of Kingdom Hearts.
"You are not going anywhere"
The darkness started to bubble inside, in the form of a creature. Anselm was laughing, in a scream.
"YOU WILL PAY! ALL OF YOU FOR WHAT YOU LIGHT BEINGS HAVE DONE TO ME!!!"
Anselm stepped back out, to reveal himself in a dark shaded suit. Darkness was spreading from out of his armour. He raised 2 keyblades, Oblivion and a keyblade shaped like a rifle. 4 more appeared, hovering around him. Fenrir, Fatal Crest, Ultima Weapon and Follow The Wind.
"You have turned me into a monster. You light scoundrels enprisoned my mother and I to End of The World for just being associated with Brakdern. He forced us with death if we didn't do as he said. We've wanted revenge and wanted to stop you from causing any more damage to someone else's life for your indenile actions. That is why you must die, Siah Heart"
Brakdern dashed upto Siah and slammed her down with the keyblades that hovered above the air and then he attempted to pierce Siah through with Oblivion.

Calder looked up at the beast infront of him. He breathed in and tried to calm himself down. He was scared. Brakdern had a stream of green sludge go down from his mouth to the floor. It bubbled and went towards Calder in a wave. Calder rolled out of the way and looked at the beast to see that it changed to a different kind of creature. It took form of the dragon, that dropped him to his death, many years ago in Radiant Gardens. Calder looked down, heart racing. He was afraid. Brakdern was using his memories against him. He shook his head and looked up.
"I am fighting for Siah's happiness. Nothing will stop me"
Calder ran up towards Brakdern and before the dragon could react, Calder pierced his blade inside it's rough panther black skin. The dragon gasped, as it fell to the ground. It changed back into Brakdern, who laid on the ground. Brakdern still had his eyes open, barely. Calder walked upto him.
"Now, you will leave us alone. For once and for all"
Calder looked away and stabbed him through. He walked away and appeared back at the dark version of Destiny Islands. He saw Rai and Raven fighting.

Kiba looked at the strange man.
"Umm, we're not lost. We are trying to fight these nobodies"

 

Anselm growled at her.
"We have joined forces so I can get revenge and once I'm finished with you, Brakdern will be next. Don't worry about that"
His keyblades enraged in flames and he thrusted his blade towards Siah's heart, once again.

 

And the blade came just short of Siah as Symm appeared in front of her, clutching his scythe. He looked down for a moment, and saw that the staff of the weapon was broken in two by the blade, and that the blade had embedded itself in his gut. The man coughed once, and muttered, "Well, that could have gone better. . ." before he fell forward on Anselm. . .

Vale looked at Kiba and shrugged. "Point being, that a battlefield is no place for chil-"
"VALLIE! Let me inside the circle!" Came the short one's voice, and a gap in the flame opened for her. She hopped through quickly and the barrier replenished itself. "Hiya kiddies!"
"Must you insist on interrupting me with EVERYTHING, Kalia?"

 

Anselm threw Symm away like he was a ragdoll and was about to attack but someone stopped her. A flash of light appeared inbetween Siah and Anselm. He stepped back and saw Emily, his "mother"
"Anselm, please stop this" she asked him, looking angellic.
"No, you are not my mother. You are dead to me. You have turned on me"
Emily shook her head.
"Anselm, Siah is right. You should be against Brakdern, not us. He has caused me pain, as I was both Vanquish and Emily. He did not care about us and now you're becoming a puppet just like I was. All you'll have is pain and suffering. Come with me to the light, Anselm"
Anselm looked at his "mother" with widened eyes, not knowing what to do. She pointed her hand towards him. Anselm took her hand and hugged her but then he stabbed her in the stomach. Emily cried, as she fell to the ground.
"Anselm...."
She grew tired and fell unconscious.

 

Voltair slammed his keyblade into Anselm, knocking him down. "Pity you won't kill a third. If I must, I will use the most forbidden darkness to stop you here. This will be your last fight. If needed, neither of us will draw breath at the end." The darkness swirled around Voltair. His body hovered into the air. The darkness condensed into several orbs, swirling around him. "Time to let loose."

 

Anselm's darkness burst into black flames. It circled around him and empulsed towards Siah.
"You will not stop me, Voltair. Siah will die tonight"

Melody looked at Kiba, with worried eyes.
"Kiba, maybe we should leave. They're right, we're just kids!...I don't even have a weapon..."

 

"Then catch." Vale commanded, throwing a black baton to Melody. The moment she caught it, it extended into a quarterstaff. "That should be effective enough against any normal foe. Including heartless and nobodies."

"Well, we gotta lotsa badguys to fight, so let's RUMBLE!" Kalia cheered as the flame barrier dropped and then began ploughing into enemies with her small chakram.

 

Melody looked at the armies of nobodies with determined eyes, while carrying her black quarterstaff. She felt the light energy from her heart flow through her. Suddenly the quarterstaff had light flowing through it, as if it was a white glow stick. She waved the quarterstaff and a wave of light hit through the nobodies, taking out a few dozen.
"Wow, I didn't know I could do that!"
Suddenly a nobody sprung up at Melody. She stepped back and waved her weapon above her head. Light danced around the air, protecting her from the attacks. She then kicked away the dusk nobody away from her and sent another wave of light towards it. More nobodies were vanquished from the blast after it. She smiled, knowing she was fighting well. Then a nobody attacked from behind her and tackled her to the ground. More nobodies joined the pile. Melody groaned, as their attacks started to pound her back.

 

Melody smiled and nodded, while holding his hand.
"Yes"
She twirled her baton in the air and they began to twirl in a tornado of light, taking out many nobodies. Thousands in fact. Their numbers were dwindling.

Anselm looked angry.
"NO I WILL NOT!!!" he screamed in anger. He grew in size. He became troll sized but his speed remained the same. He slammed Raven down with his blood red keyblade.
"You will not get in my way"

Calder couldn't help but watch. He wasn't able to leave until the darkness, the bad darkness was defeated. A wall stopped him from coming in. He kept thinking of Siah. He had to save her. Suddenly his hand went through the wall. His face entered inside and then his whole entire body. He made a portal afterwards and appeared infront of Anselm, with his keyblade pierced inside the dark man's twisted and saddened heart.
"I wish there was another way" he told Anselm. Anselm gasped and then fell, to the ground, clutching his heart.
"Damn....you" he said with hatred in his voice, as he closed his eyes
Calder looked down. His face was also pale.
"Anselm could have been good, if it wasn't for Vanquish being darkness. He was twisted by the darkness, he grew up with. He twisted my mind...."
Calder shed a tear.

 

Vale watched in a morbid curiousity as Melody wiped out waves upon waves of the enemy, almost shocked. "Of course. Give a kid a weapon and they get a nuke. Oh well. . ." He sighed as Aerie and Kalia came up to him.

"Do ya think we should leave now? I mean, it looks like those kiddies know how to rumble." The youngest asked.
"Nonsense. The enemy can reinforce it's ranks from the darkness. We shall wait until Symm and his allies defeat the opposing general." Aerie responded, hitting her hammer against the ground and causing a shockwave out towards the Nobodies.

 

Voltair then stabbed his keyblade into Anselm, pinning him down to the ground. "Time to make sure you never come back." Darkness flowed around the keyblade and towards Anselm. It started to cover him, eating away at his essence, effectively destroying him.

Voltair turned and looked at Raven. "Finally awake?" As he spoke, and as Anselm was dying, the light in Kingdom Hearts started to get stronger. Soon it would effect Voltair.

 

Voltair laughed at the irony of Raven's statement. "It never fails, does it? There's always something getting inbetween us. Tis fate I suppose."

Voltair then heard what Siah said. "I believe Melody and Kiba are still outside."

 

The nobodies vanished to dust and Melody let go of Kiba. She felt dizzy from spinning around.
"Kiba, we should go find Siah"
She was about to run but suddenly the ground shook. The ground rose up and a metal cell opened up from a crack and encaged the two children. A seal of purple gas emerged below them and a massive hand arose to grab the cage. Melody held Kiba, as they were thrusted upwards and saw a gigantic face of beast. The darkness was covering his eyes and his face alone was as big as the land of Destiny Islands and that was his face alone. It was scrunched down and if it rose it's head up, it would be as high as the clouds. Melody shuddered in terror.
"Your light antics are pitiful. You all are the same, filth"
"...kiba...."

Calder looked at Anselm with widened eyes.
"how..."
"The power, Kingdom Hearts has bestowed on me in return of freeing it of those captive hearts, the light keybladers have given to Kingdom Hearts"

 

"I'll be there for you." Voltair said to Raven. "Still gotta end this. Once and for all." He took off into the air after Siah. "We'll have to see about that heart attack later. No time for it now." Voltair chuckled.
