The New Dawn 5: Shadows Awaken

Harone looked at the shell clenched in Melody's hand. He took it and suddenly Calder's voice rang out in Harone's mind.
Harone turned to Siah and gave the shell to her.
"It's for you, Siah. I'd suggest holding it to your ear"
Harone crept down to Arlene and held her forehead. She had a high temperature.
"What happened, Kiba?"

 

"Damn. She got away." Voltair said as he walked towards Brakdern. "By the way. Have I ever mentioned how every villian is a gigantic closet perv? No matter. I'll get to Arlene later. I'll get rid of you first Brakdern."

 

Calder laughed at Siah's pun but then sighed.
"I almost died but thanks to Melody, I'm alive...for now. His darkness almost killed me. I'm stuck in nothingness. I'm at what looks like a dark version of Destiny Islands. On the day, we were connected, I found a way to connect our hearts through shells. I made it just in case we were separated and indeed we are. I made this shell for connecting my heart and yours together so we can talk"
Calder sighed again.
"I'm sorry for what I said to you"
Calder had tears running down his face and his voice broke in sadness.
"I am-so sorry for doing that to you. I thought-I thought it was the only way for you to be safe if I join the darkness in offer for you to be safe. I love you Siah, you must know that. I can't return to my body until the darkness is sealed away for good. The bad darkness I mean, like the heartless. Brakdern and Anselm are planning something horrible. Kingdom Hearts is going to be stormed by heartless and they will summon nobodies to reclaim hearts. Unbirths are the creatures, who will turn the nobodies back to normal but these "normal people" will be taken over by the darkness after they are revived. To stop this from happening, you must being the light of Kingdom Hearts to your aid. You must become an angel of Kingdom Hearts and vanquish the darkness once and for all"

 

A very worn out Symm limped over to Voltair, panting heavily as he used his scythe as a walking stick. He seemed okay for the most part, but he was pretty bashed-looking. With a tired grin, he coughed and said, "That was probably the craziest workout I've ever had. . . Seriously, a 999 of those bastards later and one still manages to miss me. Now then-" He hiked his scythe back onto his shoulder "-Tell you what, we take these morons on together. That way, they can't get the jump on either of us."

 

"Well, with the condition you're in I suppose it'd be better for us to take them down one at a time." Voltair reached into his pocket. He pulled out a slim, blue vial. "Take this. It is a new potion I've been developing. It should heal quicker than a regular potion."

 

The shell had tears streaming out of it and touch Siah's hand.
"Siah, I love you too. There must be a way for both of us to keep our lives, the way they're supposed to be. I know there is. You know what? I'll promise you something. I promise that we'll marry after this is all over. What do you say to that?"

Harone raised his hand and a white stream of light, which looked like a thin whip of spider web, wrapped around each other and formed a portal.
"You're lucky. I learnt how to do that only two weeks ago"

 

Harone looked over at Siah, happy she was in a better mood.
"So are you ready, Siah?"
The portal warped around in an oval. It was just as large as Siah.

Calder looked at the sea and it's reflection of the black starless sky. His surroundings resembled his present state. He was in the same world, he was when Sora and Riku were stuck in the darkness but now he wasn't sure if he could return like them and he wasn't sure if he would fade away or not.
"Be careful Siah" he told her.

 

Brakdern and Anselm appeared on the top of the skyscraper, looking at the moon of Kingdom Hearts. It was as red as the devil and you could hear it screaming shrilly in the night. It was in pain. It could not carry anymore hearts.
"Oh Kingdom Hearts, hear me. We will take the pain away. We will take those hearts you posess. We will return the hearts back to their formal selves. We will free you of the keybladers sending the captive hearts from the heartless. We will erase the heartless to start a new age, a new age of darkness. The age of nobodies!"
A doorway appeared infront of Brakdern and Anselm and it opened. They walked through and the doors sealing the captive hearts away opened. Hearts leaked from it, like bees in a large pack.
Anselm held up his hand and a red glow caused the hearts to turn back into humans but their eyes were red and weapons were carried in their hands. It was an army. An army that was impossible to defeat. Billions started to walk out the doors of Kingdom Hearts.
"Kill the light"

 

"We're too late."
Harone looked up at the doorway with a frown but then he looked determined. He shook his head.
"No, we can't give up. I must fight for my family!"
He summoned his keyblade and readied himself for a colossal fight.

Calder saw what was happening, through the surface of the water.
"Siah, you must get inside Kingdom Hearts. You have to reclaim all those peoples' hearts, even if..."
Calder couldn't finish the sentence.
"We'll get out of this together, I know we will"
"There, I'm afraid, you are wrong"
A man in a black coat walked upto Calder with a blood red keyblade.
"Who...who are you?"

 

(Whoops! Sorry DW! Although, I suppose I'm a little late for your post. . .)

Symm was fighting valiantly, but was losing ground quickly. These new nobodies were tougher and wouldn't just take a hit. After he ran one through with his blade, he noticed Siah and the others. "Heeey! We could use a little help over here!" He called out. Unfortunately, that left his guard down long enough for one of them to strike him in the back and causing a large gash to appear. The white haired fighter coughed up blood as he retaliated, spinning and slicing the nobody in two.

 

"I guess it's what happens since I was left alive!" Voltair yelled back to Siah. He heard Symm get hit. "This isn't looking good. Will you be okay with that hit? Its starting to look like what we're doing right now isn't working. We need to get to Anselm now."

 

Harone looked up at the doorway, which still had surges of nobodies bursting out.
"We have to run through the blockade but how?"

Melody stepped through a portal with Kiba in hand.
"I can do that" she told Harone.
She rose her hand and a shield appeared around the couple.
"I'll need help though. I'm not that strong. Symm, could you use that shield you created before?"
The first wave of nobodies were coming. The nobodies that attacked Symm were random occurences, which had the power to teleport but these ones were foot soldiers.

 

Voltair flew ahead. He flew so fast nobody could stop him. "Time to end all the strife. Kingdom Hearts will be the final battleground. Sorry Raven. I guess I'll take longer waking you up then I originally planned. You forgive me, right?"
