The New Dawn 5: Shadows Awaken

Calder looked at her with a sad look.
"Why are you saying that? You're not a murderer, Siah. You're far from it. Raven asked you to do it"
He hugged her, remembering how he killed Brakdern, slashing his body even after he was dead. That memory scared him.
"I'm more like a murderer..."

 

"It's not your fault the darkness is back. Nobody saw it coming. Raven sacrificed herself to save us. You didn't kill her on purpose. That's what a murderer is. A murderer kills on purpose" he told her.
He hugged her tightly.
"We will defeat the darkness. This will be the last of our struggles, I know it"

 

Voltair smiled a little when he heard the scream. It was a sarcastic smile. "Great. Screaming. Always a good sign." He ran after Rai. "Can't wait to see this memory."

 

The doctors took the certificate to go and get it finalized.

Chris was walking up the hill and saw Calder and Siah.

"Come on you two. Let's go see Nicole and Harone." He said smiling to them quickly knowing what they were talking about. He said nothing though. Just kept on walking.




A nurse was taking care of Nicole when her arm slowly began to move and her eyes opened. She was obviously still weak but she was now awake.

"Harone, your wife is now awake." The nurse said leaving. Nicole turned and looked at Harone closing her eye due to the surrounding still being to bright.

"Hey..." She said in a very weak tone.

 

Voltair got there as soon as the memory faded away. He barely caught a glimpse of the girl's white hair. "Who was that?" He asked Rai. "Please tell me she isn't who I think she is." He had a feeling it was Jaxx.

 

"I've got a feeling she was Jaxx. Damn she was annoying. Good thing she died." Voltair explained. "But, strange thing is, she told me that you first encountered her on Destiny Islands. It doesn't suprise me that she may have lied, but you never once told me when you met her."

 

Another red flag was waving in Voltair's mind. So that made two so far. One, Rai getting back so quickly from being kidnapped. Number two was her voice. Something seemed off about it. But Voltair wouldn't show that he noticed these things. "Let's hope so. The sooner you get your memories back, the better."

 

Calder gave a smile at Siah and then walked towards the hospital with Chris and Siah.

Harone held her hand.
"hey Nicole, you alright?"
It looked very painful and her voice was weak.

 

"Hmmm?" Nicole said.

"Oh... I guess I'm alright... really weak that's all..." Nicole was saying.

"The babies are real healthy and are ready, due to how weak you are though it's probaly wise for you to be here in the hospital a little longer though. Do you think you can hold them to have them reconise who you are and stuff?" The nurse came in asking. Nicole looked at the nurse and nodded. The nurse came over and helped Nicole sit up in the bed when another nurse came in with two babies wrapped in cloth. She handed Nicole them one by one. In her right arm(facing teh same direction as Nicole) was Dawn, the oldest of the twin. Her left was Lucas. The age difference between the two was 45 seconds. They both were identical twins minus one being a boy and the other a girl. Nicole smiled at the babies who were currently asleep in her arms but both were slowly waking up. Lucas was first awake. He smiled at Nicole and Harone. Both twins had the same facial feature of Harone but hair color already was the same as Nicole a real pretty blue color.


Chris got to teh hospital and found Pamela and Connore sitting in the lobby.

"You two ready to go see your mom and new siblings." Chris asked them. They both nodded and ran down the hall of the hospital to teh elevator.

 

Hunter suddenly appeared in front of Voltair and Rai blocking the ladder. "Well well looks like you two are hitting it off splendidly." he said with a chuckle before looking over at Voltair. "How are you doing so far buddy?" he flashed a dark smile.

 

"Oh, you know. Just thinking about how to beat you. Same ol same ol." Voltair said. His keyblade appeared in his hand. He looked at Rai. "You remember how to fight, right?"

 

Saki smiled pleased with her report.

"I'm really beginning to like you. You are becoming very important to me. You definately have traveled up on my list. Just make sure things keep going up from here. K?" He asked politely. He found it hard for himself to get mad or sound mad towards Arlene. Maybe it's because she was the only girl left.

 

Hunter grinned as he looked over Rai. "Im sorry i have been terribly rude by not introducing myself to you yet." He bowed deeply, "Im Hunter." He looked back over at Voltair, "Now then if were gonna have some fun," he reached out with his hand and one of his blades flew into his palm, "lets get it started." He started to slowly walk towards him.

 

Voltair held his left hand up. Dark energy started to charge in it. One it became about the size of a basketball, it stopped. "Flux." Voltair spoke. The dark energy flooded into the ground. It moved over to Hunter and came out of the ground. It encased him in a dark bubble and started to shrink.
