The New Dawn 5: Shadows Awaken

Hunter cut down the dark blasts Voltair sent and had just enough time to roll out of the way of his downward slash. Hunter spring boarded off the wall and side tackled Voltair, sending them both spinning to the floor.

 

"Get off me." Voltair said as they were spinning. In mid roll, as Voltair was on his back, he kicked Hunter off him as hard as he could. He didn't waste any time stopping. He got up and swung his keyblade at Hunter. He followed up with another blast of darkness before throwing his keyblade at Hunter.

 

"Like hell! I never forget a gummi!" Symm barked at Siah, before turning to Melody and kiba. He glared at them for a moment before saying, "Don't. Touch. Anything.", and then went to the controls and began fiddling around with the wires again.

In memory Port Royale, A slightly younger Symm watched Voltair and Hunter fight, before shouting at them, "Oi! Hunter! What the hell are you doing chasing after MY target?", drawing his scythe.

 

Hunter ducked under Voltairs keyblade and jumped back with a smile. "Good, i expected as much from you." He grinned as he threw the card at Voltair. "I cant wait until we meet again, see you further up this place." He said before disspearing.

 

"Great." Voltair said, catching the card. "Now I've become Sora. Traveling up the castle using the cards me opponents have given to me." He turned to the memory Symm. "You know Hunter?"

 

"Yeah. That idiot gave me the beatdown at Olympus a while back. . ." Symm grimaced, before returning back to normal. Then, with his typical grin, he asked "So. . . you must be Voltair, right? Some crazy lady named Vanquish sent me to kill you. Wait. . . there should be two of you. . . Where's that other person. . . Raven was it?"

 

"Don't you love memories?" Voltair laughed to himself. "Okay, let's see how my explanation works. You are a memory. I had taken Raven here so she could remember everything. But now she's gone. And if you're looking for the memory her and the memory me, they're right over there." Voltair pointed at the memory of him and Raven. "Do you want a plot spoiler? Vanquish is gonna beat you for failing to kill me and Raven, so you get pissed and leave Vanquish and come with us."

 

Symm stared at Voltaire for a moment, dumbfounded, before shrugging.

"Well, I'd better go continue this story then, otherwise I'll never see the ending!" He cackled before slinging his scythe over his shoulder. "Bye!"

And with that, he walked over to the other end of the beach, to continue the memory. . .

 

"I should probably find that ladder now. Get to the next floor." Voltair said, flying off somewhere. He few moments passed before Voltair started to speak again. "Damnit! Why did they take Rai!? Why is she always the damsel in distress!? Is it too much to ask for a peaceful life!?"

 

Melody nodded.
"Okay, have you got a spare room for me to sleep in?"
She yawned and smiled.
"Sorry, I was ordered to do alot of things while I was dark. I've only had 8 hours of sleep over the past few days"

 

Melody shook her head.
"No, I don't want to be intrusive. Siah should sleep in her own bed" she told him. He looked at the couch and acknowledged it.
"I'll just sleep on the couch. Don't worry"
She gave a giggle, still embarassed by that kiss she gave him on the cheek.

 

Chris ssighed and closed his eyes.

"I will get you back Emily, I promise..." Chris said. He began to disappear.



Nicole sat looking out the window. She then all of a sudden grasped her stomach and started breathing heavy. It could only mean one thing, she was going to give birth. She grasped her stomach and was breathing hard almost panting for air.

 

Melody nodded.
"Okay"
Kiba showed her to Siah and Kiba's room. She walked inside and looked back at Kiba.
"You wont do anything reckless will you, while I'm asleep...right?" she asked.

 

There was a big red flag waving in Voltair's mind. "Well, the guy I was fighting convieniently left as soon as you did." He said that kinda smart alekley. He continued talking. "And as I recall, Raven could easily escape from a few thugs. And besides. I was busy talking to one of your memories. Shall we continue now?"

 

Hunter appeared next to Arlene. "Man i can not wait to bump into him again." he grinned looking over at her, "Whats going on here?"

Nicole nodded and headed down the stairs with Kairi. Pamela looked up from her doll house heearing her mother breathing hard and ran out of her room and looked down the stairs seeing her mom. She gasped and ran to the phone. She tried calling Siah's house first to locate where Harone was.

Nicole got downstairs and leaned against the wall.

"I can't go any farther..." Nicole whisper grabbing her stomach again from the pain.
