The New Dawn 5: Shadows Awaken

Harone saw the crack in the ground approach him. He looked up at the cell doors and walked sideways on the brick and metal framed walls. He then lunged towards Saki and they both fell through the ground. They found themselves on a lower floor, which looked even more dirty and rats were scurrying around in packs to avoid the rubble. Harone looked at Saki.
"You won't hurt my friends, Saki and I'm not going to let you plunge the worlds into darkness again"
He ran at him with his Lionheart keyblade. He slashed at Saki.

The cracks on the ground were coming towards Chris and Vanquish. She smiled, at the thought of Chris falling through.

Melody smiled brightly and nodded.
"OK!" she exclaimed.

 

Voltair looked at Rai. "So you knew what would happen? For a long time? Well, what's done is done. We should probably head to the next memory. The faster we move, the better."

 

"Alright. If you insist." Voltair said. He picked Rai up. He flew up, going to the next door. He set her down and started walking. "So what were you two talking about?"

 

"What a hypocrite. You hurt all my friend but I can't any of yours? Now is that fai?" Just as he was about to slash him, Saki teleported behind him and slashed him with his large sword. "I don't think so!" He yelled at him in the motion.

 

"I can guess what you were planning. And the next memory is.... Port Royal." Voltair told her. "If I recall correctly, that is where we first encountered Vanquish and Symm."

 

Melody took Siah's hand and rose upto her feet. They walked inside Siah's room.
"Thankyou Siahfor this. I want to impress-" she said and stopped. Usually at 8, you wouldn't seriously start to like someone but for 2 years, she has been a teenager. It felt strange. She blushed and looked down.
"So...have you got any pretty dresses for me to wear?"

 

"You never were one for suprises." Voltair said. "Of course, I always did have that magical touch that suprised you." Voltair chuckled a little. "Especially that one night......" Voltair wondered how curious Rai would be about that comment.

 

Harone fell to the ground. A large scar was marked on his back. He turned to Saki.
"It's because you all mindlessly killed people and ruined our lives!!!"
He stood up and faced Saki again.
"The darkness has killed the king, Donald and Goofy....THE DARKNESS KILLED MY PARENTS!!!" he exclaimed in anger, with tears running down his face.
"THEY WERE INNOCENT!!!!"
He slammed his keyblade down at Saki in anger.

 

"Oh... You know." Voltair smiled. "That night. Remember? The one where I completely changed your perception of reality. If I recall correctly, you couldn't think straight for a week."

 

The force of the keyblade knocked Sake back giving them a far distance. He relaxed at the sword, letting the tip touch the ground. He stared at Harone crying. He kind of wished he cared, but he didn't. "You know, the light isn't so great either. We have family killed by light. We have leaders killed by light. So don't just act like its a one way thing." He glared at Harone, his eyes squinting.

"This what I'm destined to do, I can't change that. Everything happens for a reason. Even If I kill you, or you kill me, there can never be an inbalance of light and dark. This is a never ending battle. Why do you think I lived?" He asked him.

 

"But there's the thing, Saki. The darkness has always wanted pain towards others. Sure there rare moments, when the darkness is good but most people get twisted by it, warped by it. Why do you feel the need for power? Why can't the darkness agree with people from the light? We want peace, we want this war to stop. IT'S GONE FAR ENOUGH!!!"
He thrown his keyblade down.
"You have taken my parents away, you took away Nicole for two years! Why can't we just get along and end this senceless violence? Riku is darkness but is friends with the light. WHY CAN'T YOU BE LIKE THAT!? WHY CAN'T MOST PEOPLE FROM THE DARK LIVE WITH US IN PEACE!?"

 

Saki felt himself getting angrier. Something about this conversation hit a spot.

"That's how it is! You want peace, we want power. That's all. We can't all want the same thing. You guys have attacked us before. The Organization, all they wanted was hearts, but Sora had to eff it up. And they couldn't even live whole. We can't agree with each other, ever. We're nothing alike. Even if I was to stop antogonizing you guys, someone else would rise up. That's just how it is. You can't change that. Where there is light, there are shadows."

He calmed down a little. "I didn't take away your parents. I didn't take away Nicole. The darkness did. I'm not the darkness, I can just control it." He thought for a moment. He smirked a little. "What about Voltair? He's complete darkness. He took your parents."

 

Harone shook his head.
"No, he didn't kill them. Someone killed them very young. That was your old master, Brakdern. I was saved by the King"
He looked down and summoned his keyblade.
"I feel pity for you. I do not want to kill you...but I will, if I must"

 

Saki smirked at his resiliency. It was kind of funny that he though he could kill him. He licked his lips, making it obvious he had something up his sleeves. "Well, you have fun with that." Saki teleported away to his study, leaving Harone in that hole.

 

"You think you'd remember? I don't think you remember anything intimate between us." Voltair said. "If so, then answer this. Where were we when you confessed your love to me? And how long ago was it?"
