The New Dawn 3: Into Yesterday

"It's just that....." Voltair sighed. "I don't know if anything can be done about it. Nothing I've tried has worked. And I didn't tell you...." He wondered if he should tell Raven more. He wasn't sure though. "It's hard to explain."

 

Nicole looked at her.

"Siah, may I?" Nicole asked seeing if she could speak to Sora. She looked around at the scene seeing it replay over and over. She closed her eyes making it disappear for the moment. She looked back at Siah seeing if she could talk to Sora.

 

Sora was already off the phone and ran out of his house. He hoped it wasn't Vanquish getting revenge, he really hoped that. Sora stormed into the main hall doors to find Calder unconscious. Sora felt his pulse. It was beating but it was very weak.
"We need to get him in bed, it's a mark from the darkness and we need to tend to it straightaway but we need to be somewhere safe"

 

"Don't worry Mr. Heart, Sora, sir!" Nicole told him. She created a light portal.

"That leades straight into the infirmery at Disney Castle." Nicole said. She waited till everyone stepped through. She though quickly casted a light healing spell on him to protect him some and keep him alive till he got truely healed. Once everyone was through, Nicole stepped through closing the portal. Doctors and nurses rushed to get Calder help. Nicole looked at Sora.

"I used a little magic of mine to see what has happened that Siah didn;t know about, but Calder did. It's kind of dificult though for me to see and I have this theory. It involves Vanguish." Nicole said.

 

"Well.... It's just.... It's just that whenever I see you.... I worry about losing you. I just.... I just want to know you'll be around when the sun goes down." Voltair answered her.

 

"But that is difficult for me. My life is a secret. Secrets are the only thing I know how to do." Voltair explained. "It's all I've known about. I'm not one of those people who can easily open up. Even if I dreamed of the future, I don't think I'd tell anybody about it.... No matter what that dream showed."

 

"Siah, we're at Disney Castle and the worlds' greatest doctors are here to help him"
Sora hugged his daughter.
"Everything will be okay, hunny"
he was worried about Vanquish. What was she upto this time?

Vanquish appeared at the Spire of Chaos. She was on the top platform of the spire, looking out at a world covered with lava and flames. The world looked as though it was going to die out but that is exactly why it was called the World of Destruction.
Vanquish bowed down to her master.
"Master, I have most likely killed Calder and I've turned Siah's heart from happiness to despair and fear"

 

"That's not true, you couldn't see her. When I looked back on it, I couldn't barely see her, normal people apparently could, I think it has something to do with our powers in which we couldn't see her. So don't cry about it, he'll be glad your safe, with him going out, for all who knows you could have been killed and is he sees you're alive and he's alive, he'll be real happy!" Nicole told her. "So don't worry. Nicole told him.

"Which has me thinking, why couldn't you see her or could I barely see her when i looked back. I know it must have something to do with being princesses of hearts, but why?" Nicole said walking back and fourth then crossing her arms and closing her eyes trying to think.

 

"I'll always be there. You're stuck with me." Voltair said. "But my fear of losing you is seemingly more and more possible. Lately..... I've been having these strange dreams. It's getting hard to tell which ones are real or not. I can't stand them anymore. I've almost become numb to them."

 

"All right then. No more running away." Voltair said. "But where do we go? Find Vanquish and destroy them now? Or go to Siah and try to comfort her?"

 

Sora sighed and frowned. Siah was right. It was her fault.
A doctor came in.
"We need you both to go" he said to them.
Sora turned to his daughter.
"Is there someway, Siah could stay here?"
"Well, I'm sure Siah wouldn't want to be around....it's a horrid procedure, that I must take"

 

Nicole was listening in on there convesation.

"I'm sure we can wait out here, I'll be in and out to help and I can tell them how he is." Nicole said. She headed out and looked at Siah and Sora.

"It's not your fault, you couldn't see her, I could barely be able to see her. The thing is he's going to be ok now. That's all that matters, right." Nicole said.

 

"OK"
Sora nodded and left the room.
The doctor plunged a pin into Calder's heart making him scream in pain. The doctor's hands brightened and the darkness was sprouted away like worms. Calder was still screaming.
