The New Dawn 2- The New Darkness

Siah shrugged "I'll stay here with you if you want me to." she said cheerfully. She really didn't mind anything specific. Though she did think it would be fun to go walk around the beach later.

 

Siah smiled and kissed Calder's cheek gently before walking out of the room. She walked down the stairs and saw Calder's mom in the kitchen she was carying a rather high stack of dishes and she looked like she was about to drop them. She ran in to help her. "Hey Mrs. *Does she have a last name?*, do you need help with the dishes?" she said. She helped Calder's mom out with the rest of the dishes and then smiled "Hey when Calder wakes up could you tell him I'm at our spring? He'll know what I'm talking about." she smiled and then ran out the front door.

 

Siah walked slowly, kicking a little sand up every third step she took. She was just walking along the shoreline humming tunelessly to herself. She giggled softly when she saw a pair of fiddler crabs by the shore fighting over a shell. It reminded her of herself arguing with her little brother sometimes. She walked over to the spring where Calder asked her to the dance a year ago and she sat down, dangeling her feet in the water and watching the freshwater fish swimming around in there. She felt so peacefull here.

 

Siah smiled "Hey Calder." she said brightly as she kicked a little water at him playfully. "How was the nap?"

 

Siah nodded "Yeah it does... I always felt more peace here. Especially with you." she blushed and leaned over the water swirrling her finger in a gently figure eight over the surface of the water, starteling a few of the litte fish.

 

Siah sighed and hugged him back. Both of them almost fell over into the water with the sudden hug. She shook her head "I'm sorry I couldn't stop it before you..." she shook her haed not wanting to think of the moment she watched him die.

Siah smiled and kissed him back "I love you too." she whispered. She felt so peaceful right now, not worrying about anything just here on her beloved home with Calder the one person she loved the most.

 

Siah laughed "Some things never change." she said rolling her eyes. She didn't look like she had any intention on following him into the water but she kicked a little water at him playfully.

 

Siah laughed "I don't care WHY you're a clutz but I think it's cute so It's ok." she said with a smile. She shrugged "Yeah a swim in the ocean sounds fun."

 

Siah came out of her house wearing denim shorts over her robbin egg blue one piece swimsuit. She wasn't wearing any shoes but she didn't ever wear shoes anyway. She liked the feel of the sand on her feet especially after she just was getting home again. She smiled at Calder and pulled an elastic band from around her wrist to tie her hair back. "Too bad the waves look a little too calm today we could have tried using boards again." she said with a laugh she was being sarcastic though. Last time Calder and Siah had tried to use surf boards Siah almost drown and Calder got lost clear on the other side of the island. That was years ago though.
