The New Dawn 2- The New Darkness

Voltair woke up, lying in front of the Cornerstone of Light. "Ugh... Talk about a massive headache... What happened?" He felt the light of the Cornerstone suppress the darkness in his heart. As long as he was here, he wouldn't have to worry about falling to the darkness. "Raven.... Where is she? I've got so much to explain to her."

 

"That's probably best." Voltair said, struggling to get up. "Well, I suppose this little story begins with Vanquish being defeated the first time. He she knocked me away with that dark blast.... Well, a fragment of that darkness fused with my heart. I found out about it and.... Well I've been trying to find a way to remove that darkness. And I thought that I couldn't show myself to you until I had it removed." He got up and started walking towards her. "And then when Vanquish's servant captured Calder, I tried to help a bit without anybody realizing it was me. But that bit kinda failed, and everybody found out that I was still around. So when Vanquish was brought back, I took her into the old mansion in Twilight Town to fight her myself. But as we were fighting, the darkness in my heart started getting bigger and bigger, and almost took over. So here we are."

He finally made it to where Raven was. "But now I see that keeping it a secret from you was a mistake. I understand if you don't want to forgive me."

 

Nicole stood where the king was. She saluted him then let it down.

"It's not just Vanquish, but also apparently her son is with her." Nicole said to the king. She looked over at Siah's parents, Sora being a role model of hers when training and hearing stories of him with the king.

 

Nicole couldn't help, but hold back a little giggled at how anxious Siah was being.

"I guess Siah did the introduction already. I'm Nicole, partner of Harone, and student of king Mickey's." Nicole said to Siah's parents. She looked around.

"Thinking of Harone, where is he exactly?" Nicole asked the king.

 

"Yes, Thank You sir that means alot from someone with your expierience. The worlds are disappearing one by one, quickly, too. We need a plan to stop Vanquish, plus when we did see her that one moment she said she'll kill Calder and Siah yet, meaning they're still in trouble." Nicole said. She looked down the stairs where the corner stone is kept.

"We should probaly go somewhere else, how about the library." Nicole suggested. She needed to speak of some more news, she really didn't want Harone, calder, Siah, Voltiar, no one to hear just the people she would need to tell which did not include them.

 

"What possible secrets could you be hiding?" Voltair asked her. "It's not like you dissapeared one day and never kept in touch with your friends. It's just that... I've been ashamed that the darkness fused with my heart. I feel like I've let everybody down."

 

Once the group was in the library Nicole sat down.

"At one point in our short journey I had to face Vanguish's son, Anselm, alone, somethings happened that angers me, sadends me, and makes me confused, he kissed me, but when he was finished he said he finally got power from a keyblade weilder. He laughed then let me go, I fear that I might have cause Vanguish's return or something, he talked about some plan of his, I really don't know what though." Nicole said. When talking about it she still felt his rough gross lips on hers and much more disgussing stuff that sent a shiver down her back.

 

"About what?" Nicole asked. She looked at him a bit confused. She was now curious of what. She waited for his answer though. His voice said though that she wouldn't want to know.

 

"What? Half human... half... nobody...!? That's riduculous, how, I don't get it. I have all my feelings, like I can love still, like I ummm well I'm sure you know, and I look at King Mickey as a great teacher and I respect him for that, I still have all my power of pure light, I don't get it." Nicole said standing up.
