The Lost War (Actual RP)

Miharu punched the ground causing thousand of spikes to surface around him killing neo force and darkstar alike. "...no...survivors..." he said as a huge chunk of rock floated into the sky and dropped spike a over the battle field. He pounded the ground causing a small but deadly earthquake.

 

Shot at Remulis using the wind to increase their power but each one seemed to miss and hit the ground.

"You didn't think it would be that easy now?" mocked Bloodshot. "Neo Force has been doing some expirimenting on Human DNA, and the result? We can now have men who control elements. I myself can control metal. which your bullets happen to be made out of!" Remulis pulled out his sniper rifle and shot Daniel in the foot.

Sonofabitch! Thought Daniel How can I shoot him when he can deflect my bullets?!? Using the wind Daniel soared to the top of a nearby platform and hid behind cover. I just need to out-snipe him, using the wind i may be able to increase the speed of the bullets making it harder for him to deflect them!. however Bloodshot fired a round and had the bullet curve so that it hit Daniel in the shoulder.

"Not even Cover will shield you from me now, you pathetic little worm!" yelled Remulis.

Without being noticed Daniel moved behind cover and fired from another angle hiting Remulis' own shoulder.

"Dammit! very cleaver boy!" he circled around now. "You wont be able to get me with that again...." he paused before speaking again this time his tone was cruel and even more heartless than it had ever been before. "Do you remember the look on your father's face when he died? that look of terror? He begged me you know? Begged me to spare his life! he said he'd do anything! What a coward he was! I had never had more pleasure in killing a man before then. I hope you will give me the same feeling!"

with a roar Daniel came out from cover and fired a full magazine at Bloodshot few actually hit him, the rest blew off into parts unknown. except for one which Daniel controlled with the wind. it now headed straight for Remulis.

'Ha!" laughed Bloodshot. "now we shall see who's mind it is that is strongest! The loser will die!"

 

Troy couldnt believe it. "Is that any reason for what youve done? In fact, I looked up to you most of the time. I wished that I could just escape that for a day. But I cant now, because there is no where, for me to escape, there is, nowhere, to go, and there is nobody to spend it with!" He swept his foot, knocking Trixis over. He grabbed his sword and pointed it at her. "I dont want to have to kill you."

 

The Strain of holding the bullet was beginning to weaken Daniel. but Remulis showed no signs of strain. this was a battle of the mind, Daniel couldn't afford to lose this one. he tried to move the bullet around Remulis' defenses but Bloodshot matched him step for step. Daniel wasn't sure how long he could last. he tried one last resort by fireing another round from his pistol at Remulis. hopefully the General would be unable to hold the bullet back. Daniel pointed his pistol and squeezed off one round.

 

Ian was now completely surrounded by the last few neos. though there was only about 10 he was out of ammo. he killed of those last few neos before falling to injuries he had sustained. the last thing he saw was daniel firing his gun at general bloodshot. good. ian thought, then he blacked out.

Sal got up. He realized immediately where he was. he grabbed an axe, then he drank some lifewater. the water seemed to have a special effect on him, probably for the same reason he could control water he figured. Under his skin he could feel his arm fixing itself, the bones knitting themselves together. His chest felt a ton better. He grabbed his other axe, then strapeed his battle axe to his back. He walked over to trio, a bottle of lifewater in his hand. trio, he asked, you okay?

 

Miharu saw Sal and Trio and pointed causing the ground to blow up beneath them and with that he unsheathed his sword and ran at them, the ground cracking where he was running. "Now...die..." he said stamping the ground making spikes come out of the ground towards the two. He then jumped and slashed down on Sal's back.

 

Daniel's second bullet went straight for Remulis' heart. but Daniel never anticipated that Remulis would use his second hand and still have the power to deflect the bullet. The rebounded bullet pierced Daniel's right shoulder and caused him to lose focus. As a result of this the wind around his first bullet dwindled into nothing, allowing Remulis to send that back as well. the next bullet went into Daniel's stomach, the pain of being shot twice without armor caused Daniel to fall from his perch he landed on the ground with a hard crunch.

Light began to cloud Daniel's vision.

Am.....am I dying? he thought. So then....I've failed.....I've failed everyone.......my family....my friends.....and...myself. I never thought Death would be like this. no tunnel or anything. just light and calm. Daniel looked over and saw Troy still fighting Trixis, and Trio and Sal fighting Miharu. Ian was unconscious. One of you guys. actually no, all of you guys. I want you all to live on after this battle, and I want you to avenge my death. Don't let these psychopaths win. I'm putting my faith in you guys. can you promise me this dying wish? He knew none of them would hear them with their ears...but maybe one would know to follow his wishes in their hearts. was that corny? no, he didn't think it was. the light was taking Daniel away. away into the afterlife. away from the pain of this war, and into the loving embrace of his waiting family.

Remulis walked over to the body of Daniel. He pulled out his knife with the intent to slit the boy's throat if he still lived. however, upon inspection he saw that Daniel was already dead.

"Ha! your as weak as your father!" mocked the General as he kicked Daniel in the face with his boot. Remulis looked over and saw Ian unconscious on the ground. he walked over and inspected him.

"hmm...a Captain?" he muttered to himself. "he could have information Neo Force needs to win this goddamn war." He remembered the private soldiers he was forced to kill for not knowing the information he needed. he picked up Ian and slung him over his shoulder. he climbed into the helicopter he had come in and strapped in Ian so that he would not be a problem in flight. he also took the cautionary step to destroy Ian's traceing device, now the Darkstars would not be able to find him. before takeoff Remulis also dismantled Ian's guns.

"You wont have need for these where you're going." he laughed. and with that Remulis left the battle and Trixis behind.

Trixis is a big girl now, she can handle her brother then join her army when she's ready. thought Remulis.

 

Ian woke in a neoforce helicopter. Daniel? he asked, still a bit disoriented. He reached for his gun, but his arms were strapped to the seat, and furthermore he had no gun. Oh great. he groaned sarcastically, seeing the face of general bloodshot.

Sal was flung into the air by some strange force, then he felt a slash on his back. He saw trio and guided his body over to him. he grabbed trio, and braced himself. he saw the spikes and used himself as a shield for trio. A spike caught his shoulder, and tore his uniform, barely holding him there. he got off the spike, and stood-barely. then, he saw the culprit. Miharu?! he asked, yelling. TRAITOR!! He yelled. he sat trio down, sheathed his axes, and drew his battle axe. He had a moment of regret, then charged.

 

"...weak...die..." Miharu said in an emotionless voice before blocking Sal's twin axes. Miharu's concience was in a large black space. "Pfft...guess he took over...damn..." Miharu's concience attacked the black walls but to no avail. "Sal...don't overdo it...please" Miharu thought, then sat down bracing himself for what might come. Miharu's body was almost completely taken over. "Die...die...die..." Miharu said as he slashed at Sal. He raised his fist causing the ground to shake wildly.

 

Remulis brought Ian back to the Neo Force secret base. He handcuffed Ian and had armed guards escort them down to the interigation room. Ian was once again strapped to a chair, and the guards were dismissed leaving Remulis alone with Ian.

"Today, many Darkstar officers will die. Trixis will kill her brother Troy, your own soldier Miharu seems to be doing a fine job killing those other two, and as for your field commander...Daniel.... He's already dead!" Remulis laughed remembering the feeling he got from killing Daniel. "Now you too may die, however this could be avoided if you simply tell me where the Darkstar evac is heading."

 

Never! said Ian, spitting in remulis's face. You can do whatever to me, even kill me, but i'm not gonna tell you anything! Ian tried to move, but couldn't. this was gonna be a looong night.

Sal hit miharu with the flat side of his axe, knocking him down. then, he hit him with a full heavy blast of water, knocking him out. Why...Miharu? asked sal wearily as he passed out from using up all his energy.

 

Remulis wiped the spit from his face.

"Insolent CHILD!" he yelled slapping Ian with the back of his hand. Remulis pulled out his knife. fine. I have ways of making you talk. He held the knife over Ian's leg.

"Now, tell me what I want to know!"

 

Ian saw his chance, and he took it. he kicked the knife into the air and caught it in his teeth. He then kicked remulis in the shin, giving him at least a second. He cut the side of one of the bonds, loosening his right arm. he ripped the bonds, and grabbed the knife. he punched remulis in the gut and got in a boxer's position, still gripping the knife, getting ready for what was to come.

Trio still wery from all the exitment that took place stood with his ax blade out ready to attack. he went through everythin that just happend in his head but none of it made sence. he was trying to help the team out and he got hit in the gut by Daniel. then when he fully wakes he is fighting along Sal aginst Miharu. What the hell happens when I am not around?! Trio thought.

 

Remulis pulled out his pistol. he was in no mood for outbursts like this.

"Looks like you brought a knife to a gun fight!" he chortled. to add insult to injury Remulis used the metal in the knife blade to take his knife back. "and now, you don't even have a knife." as he said this guards burst into the room. and pointed their guns at Ian.

"You're a problem boy. But I wont kill you just yet. You still have information that I want." he shot Ian in the foot, then kicked him in the stomach sending Ian flying into the wall.

"oh, if only you could have seen the look on Daniel's face when I killed him." mocked Remulis. "That's the kind of image that haunts men like you for the rest of their lives. as for me... It only makes me SMILE!"

 

MURDERER!!! yelled Ian, filling with rage. he picked himself up. his face was turning red. Everyone else in the darkstars could use powers but could he? Suddenly, a golden aura appeared around Ian. It lashed out with his fury, making long golden whips that knocked remulis aside and slaughtered the troops. the whips disappeared, then the aura. Ian fell to one knee, exausted. How did I do that he thought?

 

What the hell was that!?! Thought Remulis. taking his chance he knocked out Ian and called in more Troops.

"This boy is far too dangerous too keep under such light security. but at the same time he's too valuable to kill. we can still use him as leverage. Bring him to the secure lockdown facility, and make sure his cell his injected with air narcotics every 10-15 minuets. that way he can stay conscious but not conscious enough to use the energy he just used to kill these troops. I also want armed guards on duty at all times to watch him. security cameras are to be placed all around the facility. and I want a diagnostics team to find out what that energy was and how we could use it to our adavantage!"

Remulis was growing impatient. what were the Darkstars doing with their troops?

 

Ian awoke in a room with white, metal walls. overhead lights shined in from above. his bdy was encased in some kind of a steel sarcopagaus. Only his head stuck out the top. He tried to concentrate on summoning that aura, but he couldn't. As a matter of fact he couldn't concentrate on much more than how bright the lights were and the battle and daniel...Daniel...Remulis had killed him. Dan had been his last friend. at least he thought so. Captain Rockwell, Colonel Jennings, and now perhaps sal were all dead. Dan had been his last friend, last friend, last friend...The words echoed through his head. I will kill you remulis, or bloodshot, or whatever. I will avenge my friends. You have the word of Ian Gold!
