"I don't understand much either." Tom sighed. But he then smiled. "If he's the hero of the gods, then maybe I'm a hero of the gods too. How cool would that be?"

 

Zelda smiled "Cool as in having no real choice in wether or not you have to fight?" she said and rolled her eyes "Super cool I guess."

 

"But you're thinking of the more negative side of it." Tom said. "Think of the bright side. Being a hero. And also, usually people chosen by the gods get to see the Triforce. Could you imagine, being at the location where the gods acended to the heavens. That's how it'd be cool." He then paused to breathe. "And also, if evil comes around, what kind of person would I be if I just stood by and let it be evil?"

 

"I need to find and warn princess Zelda about Ganondorf...If she already doesn't know..Which she probably does." Aren ran to the castle private quarters. "I always forget which room is her's..." he slowly checked each door looking for some indication that one of them is Zelda's room. He went up to one door which had Zelda's name on it name on it, he rolled his eyes "Oh, of course.." Aren knocked on the door. "Princess Zelda? Are you in there?"

 

Will was sitting on the bed, deep in thought. "No... it can't be happening..." He muttered. His grandfather had been a guard and had described something like this happening before, a long time ago. "Why would it come now? Why would it involve Tom and a kokori boy?" He muttered. Will had ventured to the forest once, leaving the second he got there.

 

Aren knocked again "Hello? Anyone in there?" Aren stood up against the wall "Hmm..This is annoying me. Should i just open the door and see if anyone is in there? I need to find Princess Zelda.." He went up to the door again. He slowly opened it so it was cracked open and saw Will, Tom and Zelda. He tried not to make any noise. He slowly closed the door and knocked again. "Now i have proof they are in there...Why won't tehy answer..." Aren though to himself.

 

Will heard the knock and reached for the dagger he kept on his belt. For a child he could use it like an expert, killing only if needed. "Who is there?" He called.

 

Aren looked around "It's Aren Valengard...The former Commander of the palace guard." he said in a hushed tone.

 

Will had met Aren, training with him many a time. "Why are you here?" He hissed, slowly drawing the curved dagger.

 

"I know about Ganondorf's plot. I've come to help." Aren said to Will from the other side of the door. "but no one but you, Tom and Zelda are to know about my presence here! Don't tell anyone."

 

Will opened the door and let his friend in. "How did you learn of this?" He asked, stowing Zelda's drawing book under the sheets. He didn't need to know about those.

 

"I was the first one in the entire palace to find out...I overheard Ganondorf and another Guerdo talking about a plot to take the Triforce. He someohw figured out i evesdropped and thretened to kill me, i was a spineless fool back then, so i fled for my life, dropping out of the palace guard..." Aren pulled down his hood and leaned up against the wall.

 

Will shook his head. "You always were spineless, so why did you return?" He growled. It was odd for a child to speak to an adult like this but it was the truth.

 

"I've learned much more since then....I've become a better swordsman and a spellcaster..And i'm more athletic. I'm ready to take him down now." Aren walked over to Will standing 2 and a half feet taller then Will. "Any more...'Comments' about me and you'll be 3 feet shorter, Will..." Aren said as he glared at Will

 

Will spun the dagger so fast it was a blur, putting it to Aren's genitals. "One more insult and you will be nudered, old friend." He hissed.

 

"haha...You don't scare me, child." Aren luaghed. He gave the dagger back to Will. now be quiet and let me think.

 

Will smiled yet again. "You should be afraid of someone three times as fast as you. If you are not then you are a fool." He said, sitting on the bed.

 

"You don't know how fast i am, Will." Aren looked and saw a book shapped lump under the bedsheet. "Whats that?"

 

Will shifted, sitting on the lump. He pulled his travelling cloak from under the sheet to fool him. "My cloak, why do you ask?" He said, showing the dark green cloak.

 

"You think i'm an idiot don't you, Will? Get up." Aren said agressevly
