Navi was sitting on Link's sholder drumming her fingers against her knee. She had seen Saria before as well. And she knew Saria's fairy, Ivy, very well. She smiled a little at her but then looked at Link "Yes and he is counting on us to hurry." she folded her arms grouchily "But freckles over there wont let us through."

 

Navi was getting a little sick of being talked about as if she wasn't there. She sighed and folded her arms flying just a little above Link's head. Starting to realize that she was lucky she wasn't really a guardian fairy (or so she thinks for now).

 

Navi shrugged "To be rightly honest he wouldn't tell me. It's something really important though... I know it is." she was supposed to keep it secret that the Deku Tree was dying. When she said 'I know it is.' her voice was a little softer as she remembered her close friend and beloved guardian of the forest was going to die. She shook her head "But we have to hurry... but I dont know how we're going to get past your villege leader. he seems to have a prejudice against Link and he won't believe you got summoned by the Deku Tree."

 

Navi fluttered right next to Link's sholder, folding her arms and drumming her fingers against her arm. She knew Midow recognized her. She had been with the Deku tree on multiple times that Midow had gone to see the Deku Tree. Midow glared and folded his arms. He didn't want to look like a total Jerk in front of Saria and to be honest Navi was scaring him a little. He scoffed and looked away "Fine." he said crossly "But nobody goes to see the Great Deku Tree looking as whimpy as you. I can't let you through until you at least have a sword and shield to protect yourself against the dangers along the path."

 

Navi glared "They sell swords at your village shop!?" she was astonished. *lol they don't really. Link has to find the sword some other way.* "Wow I knew you were all imortal and everything but selling weapons to children!?" she shook her head "Wow."

 

Navi nodded "Ok..." she looked thoughtful already thinking of a solution to their problem. "Link I don't think I could go in and buy your shield because I couldn't carry it that far." she laughed a little. "I'll searh the village and listen around to see what I can do about the sword. You and Saria go to the shop and Link can buy the shiled. Do you have any idea how often Kokirians drop money? Check the grass and stuff around the village I'm sure you'll find enough money for your shield there."

 

Navi shook her head "Naive..." she whispered with a giggle. "Do you really think you would be left out here with no physical defence?" she shook her head "There should be a sword fit for a Kokirian somewhere hidden in this forest. I'll take care of the sword though. You guys wouldn't know where to look. I'll look around while you go buy a sheild. I'll look around for crawl spaces where a sword could have been hidden."

 

Navi nodded "We'll meet back here in about five minutes." she didn't dare take any more time for this. She knew they had to hurry. She flew away quickly and started looking around for some kind of clue where the Kokiri sword could be hidden.

Sahara stood in Hyrule Field. She looked around the sun was setting and the night creatures would be out soon. She couldn't make up her mind where she wanted to go though. Seeing as she was currently on the wanted list in Hyrule Castle Town she really wasn't in the mood to get chased by castle guards tonight. She smiled to herself a little as she looked toward the road to Kakaro(I know I spelled and probably even pronounced this wrong lol) Village. She decided to go there. She needed to rest and that was the closest Village to where she stood.
