The Dominion of Everything

"Jaden!" Raine called out when the ground began to crack underneith her as well and she fell. She rubbed her head and looked up and suddenly saw huge boulders come falling on top of her. She quickly put her hands up to block the rocks from falling on her.

The dust soon settled and she was stuck underneith a layer of boulders. Her one arm and leg was pinned under the boulders. She could tell her arm was broken, but she didn't have time to focus on it or the pain. Raine could feel the ground shaking underneith her, an Earthquake.

"Jaden!" Raine called out hoping he was ok as he continued to scream in pain. She couldn't see him from her position. only her one leg hung out boulders laying on top of her with a small space looking up at the sky. Suddenly she saw strikes of lightning in the sky.

 

Malisa had just cut Kain's seatbelt when the ground got all wonky. It ended up tipping the ship onto its side, crushing the wing. The door was unfortunately now facing the ground, so she wqas forced to break the window, That is, once she actually recovered from Kain falling onto her. With an annoyed look on her face, she shoved the boy off and aimed her hand at the front windshield. With a few incantations, the entire thing was shattered and she made her way out without a scratch. Once out, she noticed that Jaden and Rain weren't anywhere in her line of sight.

"Hey, guys?" She asked, preparing a barrier spell just in case something happened.

"Yeah I'm fine." Raine stated only some of the rubble off of her, She tried to sit up some but flinched from the pain of her left arm still being under the boulder broken. She looked up into the sky, there was no light it was pitch dark. Raine could only see Jaden a little not a whole lot. She looked down at him still noticing that he still had her hand. She felt herself blushing again and quickly triedto shake it away and she sighed.

Jiminycricket soon climbed up from her hood ok.

"Jiminy!" Raine exclaimed then felt herself cough some when she realised something the air was getting thinner.

"Hold on you two, I may be able to go back and get Malisa to get help." Jiminy said before hopping off. Raine watched him leave.

It was very awkwardly silent. Her hand still being held her face still blushing she could only hope he couldn't see. She then came to a conclusion.

"Hey Jaden, listen... we haven't know each other very long but..." She then paused. "but you're a really good friend." She finally said before looking up at that sky.

 

Raine looked up from their hill. "This is going to be difficult, with your right leg and my left hand, we can't climb up out of here." Raine said looking up.


Jiminy cricket hurried along before getting back to the ship seeing the condition it was in. "Malisa, Raine and Jaden are in trouble!" Jiminy stated jumping up and down.


Raine helped Jaden sit down on a rock. Before sitting down on another one. She sighed looking down at the ground. 'Why can't I bring myself to say it?' Raine thought to herself. She looked over at Jaden, both of them were in pretty poor condition from their fall.

"Jaden, there's something, that it's kind of odd and I'm sort of confused a little about, but it's important." Raine started to say but suddenly she saw a shadow get cast over her. She quickly looked up and saw that around the top of the hole above them they were surrounded by heartless. She raised her right arm summoning her keyblade while her left arm hung by her side.

 

"Right. Where to?" The sorceress asked the cricket, and was immediately directed towards the pile of rubble in question. When she got there, the place was crawling with heartless, Jaden and Raine nowhere in sight. Her arms crackled with magical energy, and she grinned. "Finally, I get a chance to relieve some of this stress!" She cackled a true witch's cackle, activating her Glide ability and summoning her keyblade. As she coasted into the crowd, she initiated a surrounding Firaga spell and knocked all the heartless back. Malisa didn't see the two young adults anywhere, so she called out, "Jaden, Raine, where are you fools?!"

She then proceeded to mop the floor with the remaining heartless, seeing as they aren't exactly a hard opponent.

 

Raine was busy fighting heartless jumping down into the hole they were in. Using her right hand only to fight was difficult and she was taking a hitting. "Ice!" She called out shooting up out of the hole pushing a bunch of heartless out. She heard Malisa calling her and Jaden.

"Malisa!" Raine called out.

 

Raine nodded and jumped up and they rose up and she grabbed a hold of Jaden letting out a yelp as she grabbed him with her left arm and jumped off. When she looked over and saw Malisa. She noticed they were surrounded by more heartless. Jiminy quickly hopped back into Raine's hood.

"We need to hurry and get back to the ship!" Raine exclaimed running along supporting Jaden.

 

"These heartless. . . I am getting REALLY ANNOYED." Malisa grumbled, slicing several heartless apart in one swing. "In fact, let's speed this up, shall we?"

One spell circle appeared in front of each of the sorceress's hands, pulsing with energy. With the shout of "BLAST!", they fired straight beams of energy, plowing into the throngs of dark beings. They kept up a continuous fire, but the mage kept pushing forward. Signs of strain were showing on her face.

"I hope you have a better plan, because the most that ship will do right now is give us a wall!" She called over the noise.



*The ship is wrecked, or unflyable. The most it can give is shelter.

 

"Jaden!" Raine couldn't believe what just happened. She felt tears begin running down her face as her body began to glow. She stood up not looking up as she raised her hand infront of her and her keyblade showed up. She looked up at him.

"Darkness will pay!" She yelled looking at Xemnos overtaken by anger. Not even caring about her left hand she extended it out as another keyblade appeared in her hand, it was King Mickey's keyblade. One hand the kingdom key the other Mickey's keyblade.

She paid no attention to her hand in pain as she held the second keyblade. She was overtaken with rage where she wasn't herself.

"You'll pay!" Raine yelled running forward towards Xemnos both keyblades ahead of her to stab him.

 

Malisa turned around only to see what she couldn't prevent. A moment in time that she'd never forget. The blade from the Nobody seemed to move in slow motion towards Raine, only to have it's path blocked by Jaden. The blood, oh god the blood. The sorceress tried to do something, throw a fireball, anything, but her hand had lost its magic. She began shaking uncontrollably and she sank down onto her knees. One look at her hands and that told her all she needed to know. Someone or something was wrenching her back across the fabric of space itself, in the process bottling up magic that she would have been throwing out at that moment in time. One silent cry later and she disappeared, emitting a shockwave that would decimate all in it's path but Jaden's body and Raine.

Something has gone amiss. Something was not meant to happen.

 

Raine loosened herself and the one keyblade disappeared. She pointed the keyblade up in the sky as a beam of light flew out of it and a clicking sound was heard. The surrounding changed to a dessert like wasteland, a graveyard. Keyblades, swords, gravestones, and more were everywhere. It was a final resting place for those who lost their lives in the fall of the world of Creators. Raine looked at Xemnos.

"You'll find him, your self." Raine stated. She walked over to where Jaden's body lied. Sticking up from the ground next to him was his weapon. Raine stuck her keyblade into the ground with it as well.

From there she started walking off. Not paying any attention to Malisa disappearing, not paying attention to Xemnos, nobody did she pay attention to. She didn't pay attention to herself, she just thought about Jaden. She just kept walking accross the land until everyone behind her could no longer be seen.

All Raine knew is she failed Jaden and the rest of the worlds.

 

A storm blew threw a desert wasteland. Everyday there was storms, everyday creatures from synetophy would attack, something that nobody would be able to manage. One person has been able to manage, barely.

Someone sat high above the plain wasteland, keyblades, swords, staves, and more stood in the ground. Including one very special sword and keyblade, the sword belonging to the warrior who was destined to stop the synetophy but had failed protecting his friend, the owner of the keyblade.

The someone was in armor and had a long flowing cape behind them. In their hands was a special keyblade. The person stood there as the desert storm brewed. The person turned around as heartless rose from the ground. The person launched themself forward and swung at the heartless all of them defeated in seconds. The person continued walking until they came to a dead tree. There was a rock standing straight up by the cave. The name 'Jaden' carved into the rock. The person walked into the cave and sat down on a bed in the cave. The cave was small but served a purpose, a purpose for 3 years.

The person removed their helmit revealing a young beautiful 18 year old girl. The girl looked down at the ground and pointed her keyblade at a pile of wood in a hole in the cave floor as a fire lit up.

"Raine..." A cricked hoped out of the girl's armour. "You're thinking about him again, aren't you?" The cricket asked. The girl, Raine nodded.

"It's been three years Jiminy." The girl, Raine stated as she pulled hit her shoulder and the armour disappeared her brown hair hung low. Raine continued to stare into the fire, her blue eyes reflecting the swirls of the flame. The cricket, Jiminy, looked down as well hopping on to the bed sitting next to her.

 

Matthias walked across the wasteland, open land all around him. He held out his right hand, a blood red glow forming from it. A sword appeared in his hand. This weapon was something he wasn't in possession of before. He raised the sword towards the sky. "Show me the way." A blood red beam shot out in a single direction, towards Raine's location. Matthias grinned. "I'm coming for that sword. I hope you put up a good fight. I'd rather not be dissapointed Perhaps I'll even let you live. Perhaps..." Matthias began walking in the direction the sword revealed.

He wandered through the desert, not seeing a single landmark in sight. "Does this world keep up like this forever? That would be a wonderful reason to hide on this world, but I have a feeling that there is some landmark. And that is where I will find you and that sword."
