The Dominion of Everything

Malisa's face showed a look of pure hatred as she heard the voice of Xohka. She immediately did an about face and spotted the assassin, glaring intensely. "You. . ." She growled, her hands crackling with magical energy, "I don't want to know how the hell you got here, but I'm about to kick your ass for a second time. DAZZLE-AND-BOMB"

She surrounded him with three very bright lights and set a Stop trap beneath him, utterly cutting him off from any normal (as previously experienced) means of escape.

"Everyone, I'd like you to meet Xohka. I beat him down in an omniversal tournament."

 

Upon returning to the castle, Zabryth let go of Matthias, letting him fall to the floor, he was enraged in how not one of his officers had obeyed him and stormed to Where Nothing Gathers and sat upon the highest throne where Xemnas once sat. Zabryth knew he needed some young, new blood to taint and opened another portal to find an apprentice of his own to train in secret.
He jumped in, not knowing where the wormhole to another dimension would take him, though after about ten minutes, he arrived at a dark, desolate place. No plantation, no sun, nothing. He was in the Shinigami World.

 

Matthias chuckled as he landed on the ground. He was perfectly aware that Zabryth knew it was time for them to be revealed. Matthias had already completed his reconnaissance. It had been time for the Syneptomy to be revealed. Matthias stood up and cracked his neck. He looked around at where he was. "Wonderful... Back at the castle. I suppose I'll get some sleep. But now that I've gauged their strengths and weaknesses, I think it is time to put that information to use. Even that sorceress won't be able to see through this illusion." Matthias snapped his fingers, causing figures to appear out of the ground. "When they reach their next destination, go screw with all of them."

 

Zabryth sat up from the ground and dusted his knees off, turning around to face what he had believed was a Shinigami hovering above him. It had been but a mere tree, wilted and dead. Hanging from the tree were Shinigami apples, though they were the most disgusting food to ever have been tasted by man, Zabryth had a scary fondness for its bland and sandy flavor, and enjoyed them more than he enjoyed Banora apples from the Square Enix Universe.
Zabryth picked one off and chomped a wedge into it, filling his mouth with the dry flavor he so much adored. Zabryth continued walking until he ran into a few Shinigami playing some sort of game with dice. He'd been to the Shinigami World before, though enjoyed the presence of the Shinigami and the role they had as reapers over the human world, so Zabryth had never destroyed their world like he everyone else.
"What are you doing?" Zabryth asked, hovering above the group.
One of the Shinigami scratched his head, then turned around to face Zabryth. He had a red, disorientated face and instead of eyeballs had large, black pits that smoldered with embers as he breathed. The Shinigami opened his giant mouth, revealing four sharp layers of teeth, "Zabryth. You're back?" The Shinigami asked.
Zabryth nodded, circling the group, "M'hm," He nodded, "I've been having a problem with my men and I require an apprentice."

All Shinigami looked at Zabryth slowly, then grunted, acknowledging their game once more.
"No?" Zabryth asked with a smile, "I need someone, and you've all been blessed with the terrible lives you all still live... blessed by yours truly."
The Shinigami paid no attention to Zabryth, so he resort to plan 'B' in his book (literally). Zabruth whipped out a book from his coat. It was black, thin, and leather, and had the words 'Death Note' printed into the cover.
"Remember this?" He asked.
One of the Shinigami gasped, "That's... Ryuk's." He murmured, pointing up at the notebook. He seemed to be the oldest of the bunch, and besides his rugged appearance of being rapped up like a mummy, he had a raspy voice.
Zabryth smirked, "So? Where can I find Ryuk now?" He asked.

 

"Aha," Xohka chuckled slowly - Stopga will only slow him down. "You underestimate my new powers. Shadow Star." He shot his shadow ball and covered one of the lights leaving a long shadow behind him. "But I don't really need to escape." He turned to greet the others but they just ignored him. "Hey, don't ignore me! Don't you think a ninja popping out of nowhere who knows this crazy bi- I mean - magician is surprising?"

 

"She's just annoying me and all going about thinking she knows everything when obviously she doesn't." Raine said still not paying attention. Jiminy only watched seeing what was happening and sighed. "Raine..." Jiminy said. Raine just waved her hand. "If it has to deal with Malisa, leave it." Raine told Jiminy. "But there's someone there." Jiminy said. She turned around and then saw people looking. "Crap..." She said. She ran forward. "Could you be any bigger of a moron than you seem by using... in plain site." Raine yelled at the two and looked at the ninja.

"Jaden, we need somewhere to hide, I don't think we'll be able to fly out of here in clear view." Raine said to him.

 

“Whoa! Easy there, tiger,” Xohka said.“I'm just on vacation. So I'm just taking a tour around the dimensions and stuff. Then I saw you guys fighting and then I saw... uh, what's your name?” he asked Malisa. “Well, I'm just wondering what you guys were up to.”
"Crap,"he thought."This kid's got good instincts if he thinks I'm an enemy."

 

"Well if your just on vacation then go away." Kain said as he put away everything but his shield. After everything that just happened, he was going to keep that out at all times. As Kain looked at him he couldn't shake the feeling that he'd seen the ninja before. Kain took a couple steps closer and stared at his face. "Uh... Have, have we ever met before? I'm almost positive I've seen you somewhere before now. Have you ever been to Hyrule?" The longer Kain looked, the he got the feeling that he'd seen him before.

 

((OOC: Remember guys, this will be your second boss battle including the summons if you do charge Xohka, so don't god-mod, but he isn't going to be easy to defeat. Don't underestimate any of the officers.))

"Ryuk. Visitor." The old Shinigami said after leading Zabryth to a dark cave. He left immediately afterwards, leaving Zabryth with him. Zabryth grinned and walked over to Ryuk who was sitting down and facing away from the light at the end of the cave.
"Hello, Ryuk." Zabryth said.
"Hello... Zabryth." Ryuk smiled, turning around. "Come to give up the Death Note?" He asked.
Zabryth laughed, "No. Why would I do such a silly thing of the sort? I already have your eyes, what would I have to gain by returning it to its owner? Not that you can actually do that..."
Ryuk nodded, "You've been studying, then." He grinned.
Zabryth walked over to Ryuk, placing his hand on his feathery shoulder. "You should know this," He said, "I've come for your assistance, Ryuk." He smiled.

 

"Guys..." Raine said looking back at the crowd of people. "Excuse me!" Raine turned around seeing a girl with a microphone and another guy there with a camera. "Would you mind telling us how you and your are doing and how you're doing those tricks?" The lady asked putting the microphone up to Raine. 'Oh this is soooo not good, I'm so grounded and busted if the king sees me.' "Well... you see... it's a very good questions... what was your name?" Raine started. "Jessica." The news reporter said. "Well... Jessica... it's, that we're...." Raine glanced back at them. 'This isn't going so well, just make something up.' "We're a traveling circus." Raine said. "Oh a traveling circus? Could you give us details about it?" The newsreporter asked. "Well this is the show, no video footage or photography is allowed because we travel..." Raine was saying when she almost said world to world. That's when she realised, what does Earth have. "Well we travel from place to place giving a surprise performance that can't be ruined, so hope you all enjoy the show and you must turn off cameras now." Raine said. She handed the mic back.

She saw the camera guy turn the camera off and she looked back at the group. "Well the shows over, we really must get going." Raine said waving her hand in the air. "Jaden, hotel, a friend, anything, we can't screw up the world order." Raine said to him.

 

"As much as I'd like to beat you up for lying to me- I mean, why hide in my shadow if you're simply 'on-vacation' - I've got to find a way out of here that doesn't involve getting seen." Malisa growled at Xohka, turning her back to him. "Next time I see you nosing about, you're getting knocked into next week. Capice?"

As she verbally taunted Xohka, the sorceress was contemplating using another portal to get out. Trouble is, she's never seen any of the worlds out here, so she wouldn't know where to teleport.

 

"Hyrule? I think I have," he answered Kain. "A nice place; but I heard the local hero died. Well, I guess I'll be going since I'm obviously not wanted here," he said to the heroes. "I'll leave you guys alone. But remember: everything is a big place, but destiny is a small world. And if you happen to need some assistance, just summon me by saying this." He gave Malisa a piece of paper that said,"A darkness created by light." Xohka added,"Next time we meet, I hope I'll get your name. Third time's the charm!" He hid in the shadows and ran somewhere far away from everyone until he hit the mountains. This Earth was very similar to his, but without all the demons and a lot less natural locations. "Aw man, they screwed this place up. Well, I guess I can report back to Zabryth." He opened the Shadow Dimension portal and appeared back at the Grey Room, but no one was there. "Uh, hello? Anyone here?"

 

"Wait a minute, come back!" Kain yelled. Too late though as the ninja left. How did he know my father died? I was the only Hylian in the room and I've only told these guys. Add in that Hyrule was destroyed almost right after he died and it's weird that anybody else would know that. Kain was deep in thought but then turned to Jaden. "So this friend of yours, do you think she'll actually be able to put up with us for a while? Cause I still say leaving would be best."

Intrio landed on the side of the castle, looking into the Grey Room. "The boss has left. Although We all know of your mission and to return so soon... Heh, looks like stealth was too much for a ninja. Maybe I'll have better luck." Intrio taunted. He laughed for a bit before he stopped. "Don't worry, I'll make sure to tell Zabryth all about your failure when he returns. Until then I suggest you write your will. Just a note, I'm very fond of your weapons, they'd make excellent toothpicks for after my meals." Intrio kept laughing as he jumped down and flew to the ground. Because he was so big, his 'room' was a large cleared out area close to the floating castle. Sometimes being a large and powerful dragon had it's downsides.

 

Hours passed and Zebryth left the Shinigami World, the Death Note in hand and a devious smile on his face. He had gotten the response he had desired and teleported back to the Castle That Never Was. He had more men that awaited a mission from him and sent a telepathic message: For any officers who are left in the building, join me Where Nothing Gathers for an emergency objective.

 

Matthias was lying on his bed when Zabryth called them together. He quickly jumped up and stretched his body. "Duty calls." His body teleported away.

Matthias appeared near Zabryth. "You know what, I love the little joke with this area. We all gather here, where nothingness gathers. Kinda makes me think that we're all considered nothing. Oh, and I believe that everybody is already on this world. I heard that dragon flying around, ridiculing Xohka. Which reminds me. I still have that report on my reconnaissance mission." Matthias snapped his fingers, causing four figures to show up. "Here are the heroes I have discovered. This one is from my world. This one is from a world we already got to. In fact, I killed his father. Anyways, this one is a sorceress. She'll be fun to fight. And this one is a knight with a key or something. I revealed myself to them to give them a purpose to fight. It is my belief that when they become strong enough, they shall lead the way for our dominion of everything."
