The Dominion of Everything

Raine laid on the ground. Crying from the pain and emotion for Jaden that she felt. Slowly time began again. She began to stand up. She looked back at the crystal laying on the ground. She was breathing in pain.

It was Jaden's death all over again, but this time he was truly gone. No physical pain could cause the pain on the inside, the pain in her heart to disappear. She took off running.

Time was back to normal and Angel broke through the control and saw Raine run off. She was so weak.

"Raine!" She called after her, Raine did not turn around though. Angel stood there and she looked down on the ground and saw the crystal lying all over the ground. She knelt down and picked up some of the crystal.

Jaden was truly gone now, and Jaden being gone, Earth, no the universe was doom. It would be up to the swords twin, a dark evil twin, one that for 3 years ruled over the creators. The wielder of this sword would now have complete control over everything. No possible hope for the hero to return.

Angel also knew something else. With Jaden gone, there was no more Dominion. It would only be soon that even Angel herself began to vanish forever.

"There's no possible hope now..." Angel mumbled. "Malisa, was it...?" She asked.





Raine stumbled and fell a few times her health was in no condition for her to be standing, no condition to be out in the cold rain, let alone no condition to be running through the cold rain.

Raine ran some more, she didn't care if she died, maybe she would see Jaden then. Though her heart still ached, she was controled and did some terrible things to Jaden.

She came to a circular designs of stone, a stone rune of some sort. She ran through the center to look at them. She couldn't take it anymore. She collapsed on the ground. She was going to die, she knew it, and she was ready to die.

She cried her last tears, the tears that would cry her to sleep for forever.

"Jaden, I'm so sorry... I never got to say this to you, and now I may never get to... but... I love you..." She said crying to herself. Tears flowed faster down her face as the hard rain fell on her body. Blood stained the grass she laid on.

"I love you..." She said it again just when she felt herself finally slipping away. "And I'm so sorry..."

 

Raine felt herself be refresh. She felt the warm loving kiss. Jaden, she wanted to hug him and cry even more. But she felt it... he was too late.


Raine laid in his arms, Jaden was too late. Raine was dead. The now healed and clean body was drenched in rain. Clothing was still cut up and stained with blood. Raine's face was pale yet so peaceful with no emotion.



Raine laid on the ground. A soft ground. She didn't dare move, she just cried some more. She felt Jaden. Jaden was there, he forgave her, something she never could do.

Raine could see some of her surroundings. She was in a white room, a room that Jaden slept in for a long time. She felt so close to Jaden laying in that room, yet she was so far away from him. She could hear him in the distance which caused her to cry even more.






When Jaden returned the area lit up. Angel turned and looked up the hill. She couldn't believe who she saw. "Jaden!" She exclaimed, there was hope. Quickly Angel ran up the hill and got to Jaden wanting to know how Raine did it but stopped and frowned. Seeing Raine laying in Jaden's arms, dead.

"Raine..." She said sadly, sad for the loss of a new friend, and sad for even Jaden.

 

Raine heard Jaden, part of her could still feel him.

1,2,3...1,2,3...

She repeated in her head as he counted himself trying to bring her back. She closed her eyes tighter. This white room was no comfort. It was alone. She then heard Jaden.

Her eyes open wide. He loved her. Tears streamed down her face. She laid on the floor unable to do anything. 'Just shut up Jaden...' She thought to herself not wanting to go through more pain. 'I don't deserve his love, I hurt him...' She thought to herself putting her hands over her ears.






Angel stood and watched Jaden walk off with the lifeless body of Raine. She could see memories the two shared and it made ever her own heart ache.

Angel herself could barely bare it standing there watching Jaden walk off. Raine lost Jaden 3 years ago, though there was hope to bring him back. Now, Raine was gone. Angel didn't know what hope there was about her. She closed her eyes.

She could see the white room. The same room she saw everytime she closed her eyes, the room in which Jaden slept in for 3 years. She looked at the room heartbroken and she heard sobbing. She then looked laying on the ground. She couldn't believe it. Raine.




'Raine' Angel's voice echoed in the white room. Raine stopped crying for a second. 'I'm going to get you out of here, but please stand up.' Angel instructed.

"Why should I, Jaden doesn't deserve me." Raine stated not standing up.

'Because you're meant for each other, Jaden misses you and it's been less than 10 minutes.' Angel stated. 'Besides, what about all the great memories?'Angel asked.

"You mean the ones that meant nothing." Raine said.

'That's not true.' She said again in which all the memories that played in her head played through Raine's.


Once the memories were over Raine cried there even more.

'See?' Angel said. Raine stood up her head still hung low.

"But what about Caliber...?" Raine asked.

'The jerk you were played to love, Jaden wouldn't hate you because of him.' Angel said. Raine didn't reply but nodded.




Angel opened her eyes and ran forward and found Jaden. She grabbed a hold of Raine's dead body and looked at Jaden.

"Before you weap some more, we can bring her back, but you need to listen to me, and answer truly. Angel looked down at Raine's body.

"Do you both truly love each other?" Angel asked.




Raine stood a bit taller hearing Angel in the white room and didn't answer until she heard Jaden.

 

>I'm assuming Malisa is talking to them in a different dimension? Matthias killed Yen Sid in this dimension.<

In a flash of light near Jaden, his crystal sword reforged itself. It floated in the air. From the orb in the center, it shot a beam of light. From where the beam stopped, Matthais' sword appeared. Caliber's body appeared soon afterwards. Both swords shot a beam of energy at Caliber. Once the light died down, Matthias stood there, reincarnated. He had both swords in his hands. He grinned. "Putting a piece of my soul inside of you was perhaps my smartest move yet. Now that I've died and come back, I cannot be stopped." He looked at Jaden. "And you, my friend, were the catalyst for my return. For that, you have my deepest thanks. Now that I have possession of both swords, everything is mine to control. If you truly desire to stop me, return to Stonehenge." Matthias then turned, put his hand on Caliber, and teleported away.

They appeared at the center of Stonehenge. "The time has come." He held both swords in the air. Together the tore open a rift in the sky. "Here it is. From here, one may obtain dominion of everything." There was a small burst of light that flew out of the rift. "Raine's soul. That's right. Whomever opens the rift will end up strengthening their enemies. Feel joy Jaden, for you are reunited with your lover at the stroke of midnight."

 

OOC: Malisa stole the hearts of Merlin and Yen Sid in two different dimensions. Hence, part of the reason she has so much power. By the way, have I mentioned how I hate being ignored?

The sorceress watched all the events from a point out of time, a part of the process she had initiated. There was no way she could have known that Caliber's stopping magic lasted so shortly, and thus the spell was a complete waste of time in all meanings of the phrase. As she noticed Jaden coming back, she screamed silently in rage, furiously working faster to force herself out of the time skip.

"No. . . I can't allow this!" Malisa snarled as the spell began to unravel. "I have to stop them. . . I have to kill Jaden."



Of course, she never saw Matthias coming.



RAINE!

 

Raine heard him. Suddenly her hand glowed. Her keyblade appeared.

Raine could feel the light, a light coming from Earth.


Raine closed her eyes reopening them and appeared on Earth, as a ghostly figure nobody could see. She stood there and saw what was happening. Suddenly Mathius returned. She was angry but was confused.

He was saying something about a rift, and her soul, or at this point, about her. Raine then saw the beam of light into the sky. 'What was going on?' She thought to herself.

 

Matthias looked up at the rift floating above his head. His body began floating up to it. He stopped in midair. "Syneptophy, the time has come. Everybody gather here." He called out. His voice echoed out through the entire world, so every member of the Syneptophy was able to hear him. Afterwards, Matthias continued floating up to the rift.

He entered the rift, both swords in hand. "Beautiful. Already I understand." Because of the two swords, Matthias was instantly able to absorb the infinite knowledge in the rift. He wasn't able to absorb it all at once. Instead, the knowledge would be constantly flowing into him. There was so much. It would still take time for him to acquire all of it.

 

The pocket dimensional spell finally unraveled, allowing Malisa to come into existence once more.

"Jaden, Matthias will win unless I send Raine back. He will become a GOD. And I swear, even if it means sending her corpse back in time, I will do it." She agitatedly spoke, her hand gripping her keyblade tightly. Her body was shaking yet again. The sorceress reached into her pocket and pulled out the pill bottle from earlier, but it was completely empty.

 

Raine as a ghost stood there and watched the scene unwravel.

"Wait, Jaden!" Angel called after him.

Raine then heard his thoughts and if she wasn't dead, she'd be pale right now. She felt sick by what he sent to Mathius.

"Jaden!" Raine yelled. It was pointless thuogh.


She was back in the white room. She looked over at the white chair in the white room. She walked over and sat down in it. She closed her eyes.


'You can't kill yourself!' Raine shouted in Jaden's head.

 

Malisa nodded to him.

"For a short while, somebody else might have possession of her body. Don't hold it against me, this is what would have happened anyways. In this ring-" She began, pulling out a ring with a white oval stone in it, "-is a condemned soul of another powerful and mad wizard. Long story, don't ask. He has just the right amount of magic to supply the power for Raine's end of the spell. I will help you fight Matthias after I initiate it and the protection field, but for right now, we must get going."

She slipped the ring on the body's right hand and conjured up a levitating circle to carry it. Holding out a piece of rock, the sorceress said an incantation and the party was instantaneously warped to Stonehenge. When they arrived there, Malisa was quivering badly.

"J-Just go! I've g-g-got to finish this spell before I go supernova!"

With that, she placed Raine on the ground in front of her* and started a mass incantation. A spell sphere surrounded her and the body, shielding them from harm.

*Slipping a scroll in her pocket while this happened.

 

>Now would be a great time for some member of the Syneptophy to appear<

Matthias watched them from the rift. "What tricks is she planning? What could she have written on that scroll?" A clone of himself appeared and went to Stonehenge.

"Jaden." The clone spoke. "I'm waiting up there." He pointed to the rift. The clone focused on Malisa. "Supernova you say? I hope you don't mind if I attempt to cause it." The clone walked to the sphere Malisa was in and touched it. It pushed his hand back, burning it slightly. "Oh joy. This should take.... Five minutes to dispel." Five clones sprouted out from the first clone and surrounded the sphere. They all thrust their right hands at the sphere and grabbed on to it. They began draining away the magical energy.

 

Xohka heard Matthias call him mentally. "Ugh, I can't believe we're still connected," he complained. "At least it answers the question as to whether he's dead or not." He focused his wings to turn into shadows. A sharp pain went through his body, but he got used to it. Even though his body is absent of his wings, the shadow shadow looks the same. "Finally, free movement. Time to haul some ass." He created a portal to Matthias and went through. When he turned up, he found Matthias floating in the air with a rift above him. "Hey, Matty!" he called out. "Don't you remember that-" Xohka stopped short as he realized the power Matthias was gaining. "Aw crap."

 

Another clone walked out from a clone's body and walked towards Xohka. "You wanna know something Xohka? You had a perfect opportunity to prevent this. Ironic, isn't it? When you left us, you should have killed Zabryth. But since you've been out of the loop, let me fill you in on some details." He pointed up to his real body. "There I am, gaining infinite knowledge. You see that sword up there? It is when I obtained that sword that I realized something. I was given this opportunity to gain infinite knowledge. But aside from Jaden's sword, there was one key component I needed first. My body at the time would not be able to understand all the knowledge I am currently recieving. So what did I do? I killed Zabryth." Matthias chuckled a little. "Zabryth had a wonderful little power. Intuitive Aptitude. With that power, he was able to understand anything and everything without a problem. So I killed him and took that power for myself."

Matthias grabbed Xohka's neck and lifted him into the air. "Are you wondering why I bother explaining myself to such an insignificant insect such as yourself? So you can see why every action of your's was foolish." With his other hand, he thrust it inot Xohka's chest. He pulled his hand out, blood dripping all over it. "Look at my newfound power." The wound that Matthias just caused began sucking Xohka's body into it, like a black hole.

>It is just an illusion. A convincing illusion, but it isn't actually happening to Xohka.<

 

Raine sat on the chair her body glowing. She began opening her eyes and looking around. She saw a door open in the room. She got up and walked over to it. Part of her heart felt damaged, she was emotionless(much like Ventus in the begining of KH BBS) She looked through the open door down to see light shining down and Mathius's floating there.

"My heart, it's being used, being drained, like a key, a key Mathius is using, he's unlocking a power from his sword my heart is assisting in helping to unlock it." Raine spoke emotionless and like she wasn't even herself. Her eyes didn't have a shine in them. They were just a solid dark navy blue. She closed her eyes.

She stood on a platform, a damaged platform.

"Hello." A voice spoke.

"Who are you...?" Raine spoke still emotionless.

"I'm here to help you, help you wake up." The voice stated.

"Wake up from eternal death. That be great, but even when I wake up, my heart is damaged." Raine spoke again laying her hand where her heart would be.

"My dear, I'm also hear to help you fix that wound, I'm no longer alive myself, so with my heart I can fix your heart and bring you back to life." The voice spoke.

"That be great." Raine spoke again. Light began to shine and where the platform was broken it began to fix itself. A light shined down and she stepped forward toward is and like white doves, the white light on the platform flew up in the air. On the platform was mosaic with an image of Raine asleep. In her one hand was her keyblade. In bubbles by her body there was a crown symbol(the same as Sora's necklace, the necklace which was given to Raine), Mickey Mouse ears, a heart, an apple(the company) logo, and a keyhole.

"It's time..." The voice spoke.

"To Open the door" The voice and Raine spoke at the sametime.

The puppetmaster appeared at the scene hearing Mathius voice.

"Hmmmm, I don't remeber you." The puppetmaster spoke about Xahka. "I can tell you're a traitor though" He continued and looked up at Matthius then back at the clone. "Mathius work on getting your power and infinite knowledge break the shield and get through. My puppets can take care of him and assist with the shield." The puppetmaster spoke. He raised his arms up as the entire stone henge was surrounded by puppet looking synetophy. There were 1000 if not more. They all ran forward attacking Xohka and the shield.

Raine's body eyes began to flutter. Her eyes still showed the emotionless look in them. The ring began to glow and Raine's eyes began to get the sparkle in them again. Her emotions and memories were returning back to her.
