The Calm Before the Storm (Rated M for Mature)

Angel sighed, but then she nodded "I know... it's just that I can't leave Hope. You should have heard her over the phone Tom. I think you're right, and Hope seems to know too but I dont know what to do. She's married to him, and I cant just leave her alone when things get so tough for them... for her." she shook her head and looked out the window again "She's always been my best friend besides you of course."

 

Angel nodded "I know... I think that's what she wanted to do too. They were childhood best friends. I remember them always being together as children then after he was taken, part of her always knew that Jesse wasn't really Jamie. I've given this some thought and I've realized that she blames herself for him getting taken.... she wants to bring back the Jamie that she once knew. The little boy, Jamie who was her best friend."

 

Angel sighed "Now you're starting to give me a headache." she said but she knew he was right. She rested her head against the headrest and closed her eyes, holding her hands over her face and trying to clear her head "I thought that that last war was to end this insanity... but everything is just the same and we are all doing it to ourselves now. Me for not knowing how to handle this Hope-Jamie situation, Hope for marrying Jamie, Jamie for going insane, and everyone else for about the same reason."

 

Angel sighed "I guess you're right." she said after a moment "I just keep thinking... if I'm really doing the right thing then how come everything seems so confuzing still." she shook her head "Anyway to answer your question, I thnk that Jamie is a good person.... but something very strange happened to him and that his mind is unraveled beyond repair."

 

Angel nodded, she had also thought of those things "....I think that that time down the road is happening right now and I dont know how to fix it." she shook her head "I guess it all depends on how bad Jamie's condition really is."

 

Angel took her hands away from her face, the stressed look that was once there was replaced with a more understanding expression, "I may have been unconcious but I know what you mean. Trust me I'm not about to let that happen again." she said as the two of them neared Matt's house.

 

Angel smiled a little "I dont think I'm ever going to get use to that." she shook her head "Thanks for this Matt. I really appretiate it."

 

Angel ran after Tom and jumped into one of the chairs in the jet before closing the door behind her. "...You do know how to fly this thing dont you?" she asked.

(By the way, who is going to play Jamie and Jesse?)

 

Angel smiled "You rescue damsels, fly jets, and you can swim." she said "Is there anything you can't do!?" she said, pretending to have a damsel like voice. She laughed.

 

Angel watched the ground get smaller out the window before she looked back at Tom "Oh... I see that otherwise. Let's see theres the whole goddesses thing... well I guess anything that includes dead bodies doesn't count as a date. But last night when we went camping did and it was all your desicision to stay up there last night so technically you're good at date chosing too."
