    So true. That's the problem.
Yeah because our generation is getting loose.

Nope its still that way. Just more who aren't criminals.

Inmates get in trouble for sneezing.
    And private properties.
    Yup your right indeed!
You'll be surprise. Anyway your not marking up your body. Someone else is.

    I don't see why not?

Well that's what you do in a debate. By cutting myself with a knife, I'm creating body art. By piercing my chest, I am creating body art.

That's what they all say til it happens.
If someone has aids and whomever forgets to clean the needle for whatever reason: stress, insomnia, personal problems or what have you. You are skewed!

    I thought you'd never ask.

Curiosity. People can kill because they are curious about killing. People get tattoos because they are curious about having one or someone referred them. Symbolism. Tattoos can be symbolic for some people. Serial killers have their own symbolic signatures for every victim.

There could come a time. Where we realize tattoos are bad!
It does. Tattoos are looked down upon. It's allowed but its not sociable.
Exactly so murder can be art. Tattoos can be art. Whatever I want can be art. Saying tattoos are art doesn't mean a thing.
Why shouldn't you have your tattoo out in the open? I don't understand its okay to get tattoos but you should conceal it a little.

    Still lost?

So not cool if I have to explain it. You said people who care about tattoos when they are old shouldn't get it in the first place. Well maybe they are living in the moment like you are.

My barber knows what he is doing but he cuts me and messes up and forgets.

What problem is there with others deciding to get tattoos ? We live in a supposedly "free world", if I'm not harming Joe down the street by getting a tattoo, than shouldn't I be left alone ? People normally judge others out of insecurity or because they deeply desire whatever the other person that they're being judgemental towards has. Everybody is insecure about something, but maybe if we tried to embrace everyone, the world would be a better place. Getting a tattoo doesn't define a person, your personality does. Why should it matter if you have tattoos from head to toe, that doesn't change who you are on the inside. We have the right to be whoever we choose to be, and if people want to express themselves through tattoos, than they should go right to town with it.

I see that being highly unlikely, sneezing is a natural function. To be honest though, I don't know why inmates can't get tattoos while they're in jail. I'd have to look it up; Mind you, who would want to get one when they're in there ? It's probably cheap, but more dangerous.

True, but they're marking up your body with your consent. Completely different situation.

The Harm Principle: The "Harm Principle" states that only when ones actions may bring harm to others is it acceptable for the government to limit a person or groups freedoms. When the action brings harm only to the individual, the government has no right to intervene- John Stuart Mill

Basically, the principle states that as long as you're not bothering others and harming others, you can do whatever you want. It's the right to have freedom over your own body and mind. Drinking and smoking are two big things that follow the "Harm Principle", but tattoos do aswell. We have the right to do whatever we want with our bodies, as long as it's not harming another individual.

I think if you're cutting yourself with a knife, you should be seeing psychological help. You're more likely to die cutting your wrists than getting a tattoo; Not to mention there's nothing creative or skillful to slicing yourself. As for piercings, they are art. I'm not against them.

I haven't heard of people dying from getting a tattoo unless if it was underground (not literally) or where proper sanitation is in order.

What tattoo shops have you been to ? If you get it professionally done, they change the needle for every client. Not to mention that they sterilize it also.

Curious about killing ? More like they're mentally insane because they're breaking social protocol. Curious people don't kill others; People normally have some alibi or it happens by accident. Both situations don't involve a curious person. It's not normal to kill people, something actually just goes completely wrong with your thought process. As for symbolism, murderers who leave symbols have a strange fetish that should have been checked out when they were children. Tattoos shouldn't be compared to murderers; They're too different.

Is this the famous "What If" game that you mentioned earlier ?

However, they are becoming more accepted now. More professional people have tattoos than ever before in history; They're becoming more common.

Murdering isn't art, murdering is a hate crime as I stated earlier. Also, not everything is considered as art or else the term wouldn't exist because it wouldn't have any significance.

You can have tattoos out in the open; I was just agreeing with you that younger people may see them and decide to get one too without considering the affects. I think that tattoos should just be for you and not for show, therefore, why should you have it out in the open ?

Well you can't add apples with oranges because they're different. That's the basic message behind that saying.

Ohh, I actually thought that you were getting at that old people don't have a long time to live so they cherish every moment. It didn't seem quite nice under that perspective.

I think if he knew what he was doing, he wouldn't be cutting you. Just saying.

I love tattoos, i have a few myself and plan to get many more. I personally think they are attractive as hell.

I have a few friends that are licensed and from what they tell me, most artists(and here its the law) wont touch you unless you are 16, and even then you have to have a parents consent.
