"Awesome. I'll just get Monty to patch me up later. . . It doesn't sting that much," Ranma grumbled, flipping one of the flapjacks. And then he realized what exactly had happened.
"Waitaminute. . . why the heck did you lick that off my face?"


"Oh no, kupo. Not time shenanigans. . . I don't even want to THINK about time shenanigans. That's the sort of thing Horne is interested in, and it's the only reason he annoys me, kupo!" Monty groaned, sweatdropping. "Please tell me we didn't do anything REALLY stupid. I don't want to have to bring up the subject with him in an effort to save our behinds, kupo."

Neli, doing what she does best, walked over to Alice and tugged on her sleeve, asking "Messed up?" with a woeful look.

OOC: Oh Neli. You and your sleeve tugging.

 

"Eh? Lick what off your face," Riri asked as she looked at the burned mark made by the pancake batter on his face. Something finally clicked in her mind before she waved her hand at him with a sigh slipping through her lips, "Oh, come on Ranny! I can't do anything weird while you have a bunch of things on me? I mean, seriously... Don't get offended just because I ate pancake off your face!"

"I doubt anything happened in where it can affect the time stream and cause a paradox. Besides, what happens in Audri's head can't just affect the course of time," Lizabeth said trying to stand up, but fell back in the chair crying in pain.
"Well, I suppose what Lizabeth has said is true. But then again, Audri always had this thing with weird situations with this. I mean, Lizabeth, I know everything about Rauxdi and Audri," Dietrich said catching the gingers' attention as they looked at the vampire with a sparkle in Scarlett's eyes, "Did you read her book?!"
Dietrich looked at the redhead before shaking his head, "Not at all. Xenlo told me when he first heard about the incident and such. But that's not the point I'm trying to put, I'm saying that Audri runs on a different time line than everyone's in the world.

"Some people face incidents while others do not. Audri is a link that forces things to happen in existence," Dietrich said as he snatched the brown book from Alice's hands, "But when Audri makes too many changing gaps, it really can make an alternate course in her case. Like, for example, re-writing her memory from your minds as if you ceased to ever have met her before in her life or something!"

Everyone just looked at the vampire before Lizabeth piped up, "You are just saying bull aren't you just to make us actually believe that nothing is wrong?" "What gave that away? The fact that I started rambling or I stopped making sense," Dietrich asked with a sheepish grin before Scarlett facepalmed.

Alice looked at the robot before a smile crossed her face, "I don't think you kids did anything wrong. Besides, if I see this all correctly, it's not like you did anything that caused any harm, you just added minor details into a person's life in the past!"

OOC: She always loves doing that, doesn't she? :3

 

"Wait just a darn minute. . ." Grumbled a rather grumpy Kinta, who approached the group with a glare at Dietrich. "Just why the hell did you tell me that I couldn't let anybody meet Andre? He met everybody and nothing happened, so why was it such a big deal with me?"

"Because you have a terrible temper, you fool," Echoed Cain's voice from the hallway. The vampire emerged, carrying a cat that was most certainly still alive and well. The creature was purring heartily. There were claw marks all over the man's face, half-covered up with bandages.
"Dietrich. . . you didn't warn me that the cat MIGHT POSSIBLY fight back against me." The vampire cooed, stroking the feline.
"Stupid." A rather observant Neli pointed out to the others while gesturing at Cain with her index finger.
"I'm sorry, what was that, petulant child?" Cain replied with a faux sweetness.
"Moron."
"OH THAT DOES I- YEEOOOW!"

Unfortunately, him bursting in a fit of rage forced the cat to dig its claws into his torso,


"It's just weird is all. . ." Ranma sighed, scooping a finished batch of the delectable items onto a plate while pouring another set onto the griddle.

OOC: Eyup!

 

Dietrich just laughed faintly at Cain's before before addressing the silver-haired man, "Nein Kinta! I meant that you were not supposed to let certain people meet Andre. For instance, let's take Alice for example-" "Why are you talking about me?" Alice asked as Dietrich gestured over to the door, "Go help my brother and the demon out, they're trying to get something into here from the hallway."

Alice just raised an eyebrow at her fiance before she opened the door seeing Zackary heaving what looked like a chest on his back. "N-need help!" Zackary gasped out as Alice went around the back and went to hoist it up before she noticed someone with blonde hair. "Hey granny, give me a hand?" Andre growled as Alice nodded helping him with the chest into the kitchen.
Zackary dropped out from under the chest as it fell onto the ground as Andre and Alice put it down gracefully. "There we go, thanks Alice." Andre mumbled as Alice looked at the blonde before something snapped in the back of her mind, "Do I know you?" "I'm your other grandchild," Andre said with a smile on her face as Alice looked at him stunned, "Wait, what? Who are you again?"

Dietrich slipped away from Kinta before he went over and took the striking cat away from Cain with a smile on his face, "Sorry my dear boy, but I thought you'd at least know that since the cat is quite a devilish creature. Intelligent and quite anti-social, it's the perfect animal which knows how to survive in sticky situations."

"You complain too much," Riri grumbled as she went over and got the syrup out and carried some plates back near the stove to prepare for everyone else.

OOC: Have you read any of the stuff from Prince's Pet? I need some input since I've been struggling on what to do with the last few scenes -.-;

 

"You are a damned devil! A devil, I sa- YEEOOWWW!" The younger vampire cursed loudly as the cat began attacking his face. He ended up stumbling out of the room and into the hall, disappearing into the dark recesses of the home.

"What a dunce, kupo!" Monty noted rather loudly, earning him a nod of approval from Neli.

"Alright, when you bozos are done making noise, you can come get your pancakes!" A busy Ranma announced, scooping the last of the flapjacks off the griddle and getting out a stack of plates. Kinta was the first over and grabbed a stack of the breakfast item.


OOC: Page 26, you mean "Her" for the grabbing. Ranma would not grope himself. Also, neither the Mithra nor the other tribe would be able to pull anything out on a chain, considering that the Prince's Pet isn't in the KH universe. Ayla can have weapons hidden up her sleeves and some other weird and creepy soul-related effects happen, though. And Ayla IS a Mithra, so you might want to fix that (bottom of p29). Demons/ghosts/wraiths would be acceptable replacements for heartless in this context. I mean, generally, you might want to remove all the KH-ey bits, such as the Fira and replace them with just "fireball" and the like. And as for the rest. . . There's the convincing of Andre, and possibly Kinta's courtship of Audri. And then after a timeskip, you can have Ranma and Riri listening through a door when Kinta proposes!

 

"Well, there goes some more IQ points. Too bad he didn't gain intelligence when he turned into a vampire," Dietrich snickered as he watch the screaming vampire run away before he went and got himself a plate of pancakes as well.

"So, should we hang out before we head out to go meet Audri?" Lizabeth asked as she sat in her chair not wanting to get up to eat since she was still in some pain with her injuries healed.
"We might as well," Ace muttered as Scarlett went over to Andre and Alice gesturing over to the old trunk, "So, what's in this thing anyways Andre?"

"Oh, you know. Keepsakes, old photos of me and Audri when we were kids, old toys and books, the usual stuff you have when you're a kid," Andre said as he opened the lock on the trunk.
"Wait, Andre?" Alice said after she seemed to come back to reality after being stunned that he was her grand child.
"Yes Alice, I'm Audri older brother," Andre said looking at the witch, but looked up too slow as he fell to the ground with a fist came in contact with his jaw. Andre fell to the floor a little dazed as Alice stood there holding her hand, "You... ugh, damn bastard!"

"Do we want to know why you tried to knock Andre out?" Zackary said as she went over to help the blonde demon off the ground as Alice glared daggers into Andre, "That bastard wiped so many years of my memory away that I could barely remember who I am, and then he locked me away in Audri's head! He did the same to you, didn't he Zackary?!" Zackary stood there before sweatdropping, "I'm sorry Alice, but he didn't. Xenlo made me and Dietrich swear not to tell anyone about Andre's existence since we didn't know if Audri would still have bitter feelings against her brother for something he did a while ago.."

OOC: Thanks for all the pointers, I kind of mess a lot up when it came to genders within sentences and some things I can mess up easily. It really helps when another person reads it and all for sure ^.^

 

Kinta's plate was empty in moments and the white-haired man leaned back in his chair, satisfied.
"Damn, I never will get used to how fast he eats those. . ." Ranma mumbled to Riri, sweatdropping. "He likes those pancakes WAY too much. Seriously. Last time I made them was when we were kids, and he practically hoovered an entire tower of them like it was nothing! He's a monster, I swear!"

"Wow, nice punch, kupo! Remind me not to make you mad!" Monty told Alice, wincing as he saw the punch fly. "So does everybody remember everything about everything at this point, kupo? I just want to make sure so we don't go on some wild goose-chase."

OOC: Glad I could help! ^_^

 

"I can believe that since he's related to you," Riri giggled as she got a small plate of pancakes before eating some of them. Her face started to look a little green as she crouched down holding her stomach, "I don't feel any good... What did you put in these pancakes?"

"I think everyone's memory should be back to normal, except for one thing," Andre said as he rubbed his jaw as Lizabeth groaned as she tried to sit herself properly. "What can be the one thing that you forgot to leave out?" Ace asked as Andre scratched his cheek trying to remember, "I think it had something to do with something called a Lust Drive."

"Lust Drive? You mean that thing that can supossedly make Audri wanna go screw with someone like rabbits?" Scarlett asked as Andre sat on the floor sweatdropping, "Yeah, sure. Whatever you say. The point of the Lust Drive was to make sure that other demons and vampires didn't try to fancy themselves a dinner on her. I just implanted the idea that Audri had such a ridiculous gene so people would stay away from her."

"So, in other words, Lust Drive doesn't exist and it was just a fake memory implanted in a few people's minds so that Audri was protected on your sake of mind and her behalf?" Lizabeth asked trying to sum it up as Dietrich nodded, "The sounds like the jist of things. Though now that you bring it up, I wonder how Audri is doing right now."

OOC: I think I have fixed everything so far! ...I think I did .__.; yeah, i'm pretty sure i did!

 

"Y'know, the usual stuff. . . Butter, milk, eggs. . . Told you eating it raw would make you sick! Tho' I kinda told you after the fact. . ." Ranma said with a sigh, facepalming. He edged away from the foxgirl, saying, "Great. Don't get sick on me."

"That's. . . really creepy. In fact, that would probably do the opposite for SOME vampires, kupo." Monty told Andre, sweatdropping. "Cain almost made a meal of her a while back."

"Cain? Hurt Audri?" Neli asked the moogle, who waved his arms in reprisal. "Nononono, kupo! That was a while ago! He doesn't get anywhere near her, now! Don't go super robot on him, kupo!"

"Oh shut up you big baby," Riri growled as she put her hand to her mouth for a second. After a few moments she pulled her hand away and start cursing something about the pancakes to herself. "Are you not feeling well?" Zackary asked popping up on the other side of the counter making the fox almost fall back for if she wasn't already on the floor.

"Ugh, raw batter is making me sick," Riri groaned as Zackary pulled a bottle out from his jacket and handed it to her, "This should stop the sickness!" Riri looked at the bottle before downing its contents. She sat there for a second before she scrambled to her feet and ran out of the kitchen putting her hands to her mouth.

"Well, when did he try to make a meal of her exactly?" Andre asked a little curiously as Alice scratched her head, "I think it was a while back when the Noahs held a party for all of their costumers or something like that."

"You better thank me for saving your sister back then since I got Audri's temper a little flared back then that she pretty much slipped from Cain's grip the first time, until he held her arms down and tried to bite her again," Lizabeth commented as she remembered the event like it was yesterday, "Then Kinta and the others are to thank for that one."
"Yeah, because I love saying 'thank you' to humans that are dating my sister," Andre growled a little as Dietrich shook his head, "Oh, lighten up Andre! Get over your sick obsession with protecting Audri from humans after that one incident."

OOC: ?

 

"Jeez, what did you give her? Something really nasty?" Ranma asked Zackary, raising an eyebrow as Riri dashed out of the room. "And if that's the case. . . why the hell would you be carrying something like that on you?"

"You're welcome," Kinta called over to Andre, waving his hand around nonchalantly. "Although, in all fairness, It was kind-of Lizbeth's fault in the first place."

"Yeah, yeah. Don't start pointing fingers at everybody now, kupo. We don't need that right now," Monty chided, "No beatings allowed here, now!"

OOC: Whoops! I forgot what I was supposed to put! The story looks great! Although, I was kinda expecting a timeskip before RxR spy on KxA. . . although, they could just make a habit of spying on them!

 

"It's a experimental cure-all that I've been trying to perfect these last few days. Dietrich and Alice are sick of trying it for me, so I thought it would work if I used it on someone who's actually sick!" Zackary commented with a smile on his face before he sweatdropped, "Though I will admit that I might I have given her the wrong bottle since my other test subjects usually pass out before they had any urge to throw up."


"I'm not really in the mood to beat anyone out right now since I'm feeling pretty drained at the moment," Andre said leaning back against the unlocked trunk as Scarlett held a plate of pancakes to him, "You should probably eat then." "I'm good," Andre grumbled waving the red head's hand away as Lizabeth snipped at Kinta, "Hey, not my fault that Cain was trying to eat your girlfriend before I even showed up to steal a dance with you."

"Easy Lizzy. You really shouldn't be trying to pick a fight fight," Ace said as he noticed the heartless girl shaking in her shoes as she tried to talk.

OOC: oops! I was meaning to put a time squiggle there or the start of the new chapter before Riri started talking again! thanks for reminding me since I'm have to move the vague WIP line around again ^^;

 

"You're a sick doctor. You know that, right?" Ranma told the man, putting special emphasis on the word sick. He pulled a plate of flapjacks for himself and took a seat at the kitchen table, chowing down on the delicious meal.

"Whaaaatever, kupo. Either way, weird stuff happened that night. Lizbeth, sit down, kupo! You're not doing any good for your body trying to force it to work like that. Wait, when did I become a medic, kupo?" Monty finished with a sweatdrop. He turned to Neli, who simply shrugged and began poking his pom-pom. Repeatedly.
"Stop that, kupo! I don't like it when people do that!"

OOC: You're welcome!

 

"Man, why does everyone call me a sick doctor?" Zackary said with a pouting look on his face as Dietrich sweatdropped, "You, of all people, are questioning your status of being called a 'sick doctor'?" "Why, can't he?" Scarlett asked as Dietrich pinched the bridge of his nose, "I'm just saying that he should take for granted that he isn't being framed as a lady-killer like Xenlo or as a porn novelist like myself."

"Why would Xenlo be a lady-killer?" Ace asked as Dietrich looked at them nervously, "Well, because I say that in a literal sense, when Xenlo gets really angry with someone, he goes back in time sometimes and murders the person's mother when they're pregnant with that said person he's mad at. Sometimes the woman doesn't die and ends up having a miscarriage from the attacks Xenlo did. There are also other times when Xenlo would just kill the person when they are an infant to spare the mother in some situations."

"How disturbing, this is sounding a lot like Altessa all over again," Lizabeth shuddered as she relaxed in her chair as Dietrich shook his head, "He's no different, but most of the people he deals with are usually psychopaths throughout history that could have possibly wreaked the universe in one way or another."
"So, in a sense, our brother is a cradle-killer?" Zackary asked with a nervous tone in his voice as Dietrich nodded, "But he only did it when he was working under the Earl and the other Noahs at the time. After he met Alice and 'started' having his own children and grandchildren, he left that life behind and tried to make use of his powers in some way."

"Cradle killer? That sounds ominous, kupo. . ." Monty commented, sweatdropping yet again in a short history of sweatdrops. "Which reminds me. . ."

The moogle suddenly went into a low voice and addressed Dietrich, "We found out that Kinta may have a certain powerful mage locked up inside that ring of his, kupo. And apparently he's really dangerous. . . would you happen to know anything about a powerful mage, kupo?"

Montblanc's paranoia of Kinta finding out was unnecessary, however; The man had fallen asleep in the chair he sat in. Apparently he wasn't fully recovered from the amount of magic he used.

OOC: Derpderp?

 

"A powerful mage?" Dietrich muttered as he glanced over at Kinta as he listened to what the moogle had to say.

"That's a bit of tricky grounds with me since I don't deal with that type of stuff on a daily basis. Although I can probably check people's history books and see if I am able to come up with anything, or find anything for that matter," Dietrich sighed scratching the back of his head as he made a mental note to look at the books when he gets back home.

The door to the kitchen opened up as Riri stood there with her legs shaking as she made her way to the table and grabbed a chair to sit down on. She looked a little pale and frazzled out. "Hey, are you feeling better Riri?" Zackary asked with a cheerful smile as Riri glanced over at him before snapping up, "I just puked my guts out, how do you THINK I am doing?!"

OOC: Yes! Oh, before I forget to ask, should I incorporate the moogles in anyway if I can or just if I'm able to fit them in as human....ish form... Yeah, train of thought gone.

 

"Alright. Thanks, kupo!" Monty said, giving the vampire a thumbs up.

"Nice goin', Zack!" Ranma called over from his table, slowly finishing his pancakes before tossing the plate into the sink and walking over the others. "So, how long are we just gonna sit around waiting here? I get the feelin' that Kinta's temper is going to get the best of him if Audri doesn't show up soon."

"Has he always been this moody, kupo?"
"Not THIS bad, but he has always had a temper as fierce as the storm. Nice guy, but you don't want to make him angry."

OOC: Naw. The Moogles are essentially 'canon', but they're from FFXII and never really had their personalities actually highlighted. I just decided to give them ones based on their looks. Oh, and his name isn't actually Zurxet. He just used that so nobody who might have heard of him would know about him. I forget the name I was going to use, tho' TT_TT

 

Dietrich smiled a toothy grin at the moogle before a phone went off. "I'll get it!" The vampire said as he walked over to the phone and picked it up.

"It wasn't my fault, blame science for your sickness!" Zackary said putting his hands up defensively as Riri just shook her head in disgust. "I don't think we have to wait around, I thought that we had to meet Audri somewhere," Lizabeth said as Scarlett scratched the back of her head, "We have to meet up with Audri? What could be so bad that she has to wait around for us to pick her up?"

"Hold on for a second, I'll tell them." Dietrich said as he spoke with someone on the other line as he glanced over at the others, "It's Xenlo on the other line, and he says that you guys should go to the World That Never Was immediately. Apparently Audri is having some issues and is driving herself out of her mind."
"What does that even mean?" Riri said as she seem to gain some composure of the current situation as Dietrich put the phone back to his ear, "I dunno, but I think Audri is just in one of her emo-tastic moods again."

OOC: Pokey Dokey then! Though that sucks about Zurxet's real name situation. Think I'll be able to help in some way?

 

"Oh, great. That awful place. . ." Ranma groaned, clasping his palm to his forehead. "Let's just get in, do our business, and get out. I have BAAAAD memories of that place. Also very happy ones. But mostly bad."

"You've got issues, Ranma," The moogle sighed, hopping up onto the man's shoulder. "So are we waking Kinta?"
"Hell no! I don't want to have to interrupt the guy when he's on his naptime!"
"Then we're leaving him here?"
"Hopefully Lizbeth won't try to molest him or something. Isn't she like a crazy version of Audri or something?"

"Not same." Neli finally ended the conversation.

OOC: I'll go on Behind The Name later. I get the feeling I saw it there first. . .

 

"Hey, shaddap you idiots! I happen to have a boyfriend even though I love messing around with other guys just to drive them insane," Lizabeth snapped crossing her arms across her chest as Scarlett sweatdrops, "Now I see why Altessa wants you dead."

Riri shook up a little shaken up as she spoke, "Yes, because that would make the difference here Scarlett. Kinta is strangely power-crazy, Audri is off doing who knows what, and I think that-" "Less talking, more going!" Andre said cutting off the fox girl as he grabbed Riri and Scarlett's wrists and trying to drag them to go along.

Scarlett arched a brow at him before snickering, "What's wrong Andre? Don't wanna spend time with your grandma?" "Rgh, shut up Scarlett or I will kick your ass!" Andre growled as Riri just looked at the two idiots in shame.
