"Thank you Ranma," Dietrich mumbled as he swiftly picked Cain up by the clothes on his back before having his face a few inches away from the rebelious vampire, "Ok, I can see how that looks wrong, but if you really hate being a vampire, why didn't you ask about a cure?"

"I don't know! He just said that the bottle was filled with blood from a dead relative of his. Wouldn't say much about it," Chaos said as he threw his hands up in the air before he snapped at Ace, "AND SHUT UP YOU STUPID BOY OR I'LL RAPE YOU IN YOUR SLEEP!"

The wolf's howling ceased to nothing but whimpering as Chaos continued, "As for civil manner, we tried asking nicely but the old hag wouldn't hand it over!" "Liar!" Alice snapped as she stomped right up to the boy and pointed her finger up to his face, "Now you listen - my granddaughter is dying and I need it more than you guys do."

Andre, or so it seemed to be, was standing at the top of the stairs dressed in something that was completely black. You couldn't get the details out of it because of the terrible lighting. He had long blonde hair that seem to go past his waist and a pair of blue tinted glasses on his face. The demon just glanced back at Kinta before let out a laugh. "I don't know who the hell you are, but for a human, thinking that you're cocky just to come here and ask for answers about Audri... Don't waste your breath kid. I'm really not in the damn mood to deal with someone's whining just because of something she did this time," Andre said as he turned his head as he went down the darken hallway.

Matthew was able to catch up with Kinta at the top of the stairs before looking down the hallway where Andre had went down, "What's so important that you have to talk with Andre about?"

 

"Uh, I don't know about you, but I think my IQ is dropping listening to your drabble," Dietrich said with an amused look on his face, "Listen, that's nothing but legends. What I do know is that those who were turned into vampires can find a cure. It's easily found on the world you were bitten in since vampires bite everyone there all the time!"

Alice sat up as Chaos scoffed on the other side of the knife wall, "Please, work together?" "Doesn't look like it's going to happen," Alice snipped as Lizabeth snapped her fingers together, "I think I have an idea! We CAN work together since it might not be impossible!"

"I'm not liking this idea," Riri groaned as Lizabeth continued, "Well, since Chaos and Ace's boss needs the bottle to look at the origins from his messed up family tree, maybe we can use that to track down the original source and find a cure that way!"

"Are you sure that will work?" Scarlett asked as Lizabeth smiled, "No idea! But it's better than nothing.."

"Which time are we talking about since there was another incident where she... wait," Andre stopped for a moment before he looked back at Kinta, "Why do you want to know so badly? I mean, even though I heard that you told Matthew that it was urgent, but why is this so important for you to know now?"

 

"Fine, have we got ourselves a deal then?" Lizabeth said as she looked at the two negotiators. Alice and Chaos looked at each other before nodding.

"Whatever it takes," Alice said as Chaos sighed a little agitated, "Well, I guess I can go give that bottle to my boss. You can keep Ace here as a hostage until I come back with the results or something. But I recommend taking the knives out of his feet before he dies from blood loss."

Dietrich sighed as he opened up a portal and pulled out a small black cat with red eyes. "As gross as it sounds, you have to eat the cat. Drain its blood, eat every part of it, and you'll be back to your own self in a matter of hours." Dietrich explained as the cat looked at Cain meowing.

Andre looked a him, stunned for a few minutes before he said anything. The first words out of his mouth, however, was not something that Kinta was expecting.

"You little FUCKER! I can't believe that she would pick someone like you. More or less, a FUCKING human!" Andre snapped as he didn't seem to care as much as the news about the disease as he did about hearing about the 'girlfriend' part.

Andre was about to approach him to kick his ass, but he stopped himself and turned to the wall, punching a hole through it as he was pissed off big time. He pulled his bleeding hand from the wall, looked at it before looking over at Kinta.

"Sorry, I... Um, you said something about a disease?" Andre said trying to hide his anger and frustrations from the man, knowing that he wasn't doing a good job at hiding his feelings at the moment.

 

"Neither do we," Riri and Scarlett shuddered as Ace transformed back as he coughed up blood, "Ugh, that hurt like hell.." "You feeling all right?" Riri asked as she helped the wolf boy up.
"I'm ok, can you get me bandages though? I'm still bleeding," Ace asked as he blushed a little looking down at his palms that has blood all over them.
"Well, I guess I should be heading back then," Chaos said as Alice handed him the empty bottle and Zero cling onto his arm. "You better keep your part of the deal, you don't wanna mess with her," Zackary whispered as he looked over at Alice seeing that she was talking with Scarlett asking where Audri is.

"I can believe that she's a bit of a nut-job, so I'll try to make this fast," Chaos muttered back as he opened up a portal with his free hand.
"Huh, I feel bad for the cat," Dietrich said sweatdropping as he shook his head, "I wonder if I should of told him about how sour it tastes... Nah, he's giving me enough trouble as it is!"

"Well, I don't know much of the disease myself... but I guess we can discuss matters and figure out what is going on, and I'll tell you about the time that Audri almost died maybe a different time since it's not really relevant at the moment, unless you really want to know. Er, shall we go and sit down then so we're not standing in the middle of the hallway?" Andre said as he opened a door on the left side of the hallway gesturing inside the new room.

He was calmer than how he was acting a few minutes ago, but whatever was happening with Audri was more important than who she is dating at the moment.

 

"Yes, well... ANYWHO, WE'RE OFF!" Chaos said as he stepped through the portal with Zero following after him.

"Are you ok Neli?" Scarlett asked the robot confused by her various emotion outbursts.

"Um, sure.. Let me get those for you," Riri said as she left the room, followed by the injured Ace, who doesn't know anything about the word 'stay put'.

"Sure, why not! Um, sorry about the mess." Andre said scratching his cheek as he looked at the paper-cluttered room. There was nothing but white paper scattered all over the floors. Some scrawled with words, others were music sheets.

"Um, let me get some things out of the way," Andre said as he picked up a few stacks of paper off of the chairs in the room and put them neatly on the desk that was the only thing not covered in paper. "So, what shall we discuss first?" Andre said as he looked over at the cracked mirror on the wall in surprise, "Oh damn, I really let my hair grow a bit too long this time. I should really cut it.."

 

"Hm, what bring you here Kosu? Are you looking for Ayla by any chance?" Lizabeth asked the Mithra boy just as Alice and Zackary helped the boy up to his feet.

"Ok then Neli, but I'm keeping an eye on you," Scarlett said as she ruffled the robot's hair before she noticed Riri walking into the room at speed-walking momentum as she had a blush on her face. "I'm sorry Riri, I really am," Ace said as he entered the room following her as the green haired fox was carrying a box of bandages.

"It's nothing. Now just sit down and let me fix you us," Riri growled as the boy meekly went over to a not-broken chair to sit down.

Andre glanced at Kinta through the mirror he was looking through before he turned around to face the man, "I would take it we are possibly talking about Audri almost dying... well, the first time at the least. It started many years ago when her family still lived on another world that is now inhabited by those damn Noahs. Her grandfather was missing at the time to escape a lover he never married, while her only living daughter was struggling with having some type of lung disease.

"Audri was nothing but a child at the age of," Andre looked at the ceiling whispering to himself before looking back down, "I think it was around the age of four or five, but it's been a while since I talked about this, so sorry if my memory is fuzzy on the topic on how long ago these things happen."

"Anyways, I was... close to Audri at the time when, well... everyone hated me. Just because someone had told the humans on the world that a child was a demon, everyone went around like chickens with no heads!" Andre continued as he looked back in the mirror before he went over to the desk and pulled a drawer open.

 

"Oh, well... I guess I can understand that," Scarlett said as she followed the robot over to the Mithra as she entered the conversation, "But Ayla isn't here. She went off with her "caretaker" to go find her some hearts. Something about a withdrawal the last time we saw them here.. They left just a while ago, but we're not so sure where they went off to."
"Yes Neli, same species, different person!" Lizabeth said smiling faintly as Alice and Zackary pulled her away from the Mithra as they whispered something to her.

"Oh, Audri? She went on some trip with Xenlo, something about the Devil's Plague," Lizabeth said as the two dropped the subject and went to talk about something else.

"N-nothing at all Ranma, it's nothing!" Riri laughed in a slightly hysterical way as she yanked on Ace's wrist and started to mend them the best she could. "That hurts Riri," Ace whined making the fox grumbled under her breath before looking up at him, "Don't care."

"Well, Audri was friendly with the human kids as she was friends with some of them at the time. They found out that I was her friend, and..." Andre pulled out a pair of scissor before he looked over at Kinta, "They found out that she was an angel."

"Not like being an angel was a bad thing, but what scared them the most was that she was... friends with me," Andre said as he walked over to the mirror with scissors in hand. "The kids wanted to get back at me, for being a demon and for me to leave them alone, leave the world, whichever came first I suppose. In my defense, I never even spoke to the kids at all during my time there.

"So, they used Audri to get back to me, by trying to get her out of the picture, so the "connection" between humans like themselves and a demon like me can cease to exist," Andre finished as he grabbed a hold of his hair before taking the scissors and cutting most of his hair off.

 

"That would be a scary mess to deal with, again." Lizabeth muttered as she remembered when she tried to pick on Ayla, but then her heart was going completely bonkers.

"Uh, thanks for patching me up Riri," Ace said blushing slightly as Riri was finishing up the work on the boy's bleeding feet. "It's nothing, but I recommend not walking around or your wounds will seep and you'll bleed to death," Riri said as she put the bandages away as she sat on the ground, pretty tired herself.

"Don't ask me, but I think it's the parents in some way. And all of that isn't even the worst part!" Andre said as he knotted up the "rope" of hair together before putting it on the ground at his feet, "So these children never told Audri about what they saw with her and me. They plotted, they schemed for a few weeks, and then they carried out their plan.

"They were playing with Audri like any other day, and they asked her if she was an angel. She told them the truth about herself and they asked to see her wings as proof. She showed them, they asked if she could fly. Audri told them that she was learning, but she couldn't fly far at this stage," Andre continued to speak as he was cutting his hair away, "The children wanted to fly with her, like a ride. She agreed, but could only do one person at a time. While Audri was flying with one of the children, the others set up to get all of their tools to get to work.

"She... Audri didn't see it coming, but when they landed back on the ground, they shot her with an arrow, pretty close to her heart. While she was stunned and trying to pull the arrow out, the child that she took flying with, dragged her near a rather large tree nearby. The children took hammers and nails from their parents and..." Andre stopped speaking as he closed his eyes and leaned his head against the mirror.

 

"His personal belongings? Like what could be considered not personal? I mean, everything is the castle was probably destroyed, right?" Lizabeth asked as Scarlett stayed quiet as she was thinking.

"I wonder..." Scarlett muttered before Riri interrupted the girl's train of thought, "Well, at least the castle is being rebuilt after our big involvement in the war and such!"

"They stomped on her wings, almost breaking every bone within them. The children also plucked at least a third of her feathers off before they nailed her wings to the tree. Audri was stunned, she was scared, and the children didn't try to say or explain why they did this to her," Andre finally said as he lifted his head from the mirror as he cut off some of his bangs that were still covering his face.

"They left her to die, hoping that she lived long enough for the pain to drive her mad I suppose. Hoping that she died of blood loss and the tormenting pain she went through. Luckily, I found her not long after the children left. To think that I would see her mangled body, and she smiled through it all with tears down her face!" Andre said as he grabbed the scissors before he stabbed them against the wall.

 

"Huh, I think that we should get in touch with him and see what the problem is," Scarlett said as Riri squeaked waving her hands around, "Bad idea, not happening."

"Oh, come on Riri, what's getting your panties in a bunch?" Lizabeth asked the fox girl as she bounced to her feet, "It's just... I'm getting a bad feeling of going back there. Not because of the war, but it's just a gut feeling."

"Well, I don't know about you, but I think we should at least ask him if there's something we can do to help him, or at least stop him from being a crazy hermit," Scarlett said as she glanced at the others there.

"The kids were never found guilty. Audri's parents tried to accuse them, but the children's parents had no idea of what was going on at all. I would of wipe those bastards off the face of the universe if I had the chance, but Audri wouldn't let me leave her side as she tried to recover," Andre said as he pulled the scissors from the newly made hole in the wall as he went over and placed them on top of the desk, "It was torturous to see Audri that way, lying in the bed, trying to recover, crying in pain every single minute because of her wings trying to regain their form and grow back feathers.

"What I do know, is that someone did kill those kids, but I never found out who. When someone brought the news to Audri's family and me, everyone was shocked. No one knew wether to say thank you because Audri was avenged in some way or be upset that the children were dead like a doornail," Andre said as he went over and sat down in the chair unoccupied in the room as he ran his fingers through his hair, "Much better I can see now, and I feel lighter without all of that hair."
