Stranded - Rated T for safety

Torii never considered herself as a fighter, but she knew how to fight. She had taken Capoira and gymnastics since she was 5.

She done a kartwheel over a fist the size of her whole body, covered in fang like scales.

She then Launched herself at the things head, smashing it in the temple with her sap.

Causeing no effect the moster just looked at her, Almost smiling and then bit her across her cheast.

Writing in pain she fell to the ground

 

"TORII!" Rick shrieked as she fell to the ground. He felt responsible. He had told someone to distract it but he hadn't been quick enough after she did. He was enraged.

He picked an arrow out of his quiver, and not bothering to notch it to his bow, drove it into its throat. He did it again, and again, but each time the thing caused it to come out. It was hurting it but it was too slow. Everyone else was too far away to get there in time, and it would overpower him soon enough. Rick had a spur of adrenaline. He grabbed the things 'mane' and yanked its head back. He placed the arrow firmly in its eye socket.

It gave an ear-splitting screech, and Rick forced it deeper, striking its warped brain. It gave an even louder roar. Blood was soaking his sleeves now. He could feel it trying to push the arrow out, but he held it firm, and worked it still deeper. The thing toppled over, dead or not Rick couldn't fight it any more, and abandoned it to its death throws.

"Torii!" He ran over. A gash as wide and as long as one of his arrows stretched across her chest. He looked to where the others were. He saw Jesse screaming, but right now he took the very real threat of the things bite on Torii.

"SOMEONE HELP! SHES BEEN BITTEN!" He had seen things like this. You had to suck the poison out. But often that would do nothing but poison you as well. But what else could he do?! He tore off his sleeve, and wrapped it around the wound. Maybe one of the others knew what to do!

 

Kyuu started to panic. She didn't know what to do. She glanced Jesse and thought she really wanted to help him. Then she turn to Rick and Torii. Torii has been bitten, Jesse's not alright...

"I don't know what we should do to her!" she shouted to Rick. "I'm sorry..!" she looked at the others. "How about you? Does anyone know what to do?!"

Then she ran to Jesse and put her hands on his shoulders and shaked him a little.

"Hey, are you okay?" she said "Jesse?"

 

Kyuu looked really scared and hugged Jesse.

"Calm down, Jesse." she tried to sound calm herself. "We're here with you, it'll be okay..."

 

Kyuu looked confused.

"Your mom...?" she whispered. "I... I don't understand what do you mean..."

 

Kyuu hugged Jesse again and close her eyes. She was scared but felt a little better when she was close to him.

"I'll be with you, don't worry." she whispered.

 

Kyuu didn't know what to think. She felt Jesse shaking and held him.

"I promise I'll never leave you alone." she said. "We'll protect each other, right? And in the end, everything will be fine."

Kyuu smiled. She was quite scared because of that place but felt still safe with Jesse. She just wanted to be right there and not to go anywhere. First time in her life she was feeling this kind of affection.

 

Kyuu blushed a little. "I was just about to say the same." she smiled.
