"As fun as that would be with your new updates, I say not.. The children are coming to try find the Base. Im updating a path for them from the forest. They could take Zelgius down.. But Im worried about Karia and the others. I have unfortunatly given him two much power. And we have not yet heard from anyother than Zel, Marie and Arii" L wasn't too worried. He could delete them as it suited him.

I shall return to base. Imprint orders into Marie's head to bring back the necklace before destorying it. That shall give us a chance to take it from her.

L had thought of this option before. But now it had been said to him, he put it to action place. Marie had the orders beating in her head.

Tom happened to be looking into the cave. He thought he saw something shining at the end. He got up, and walked over to it. He saw an old computer that was turned on. On the screen was a game of chess, "Hmm... This is interesting. Aurora, do you know what this is supposed to be?" Aurora didn't know. So Tom just sat down and started playing.

 

"Dangit," Tom muttered to himself each time he would lose. The computer would beat him every time he tried, "There must be a reason for this being here, so I must win." There would be times that he would come close to a checkmate, but the computer always won.

 

Zelgius was wandering around the HQ, not really doing anything. He entered this room that was full of files. He opened one file that was under 'H.' In that file, there was a picture of Hope, and all of these details about her, such as her weapons, age, how tall she is, even where she lives, "Hmm... I wonder." Zelgius started going through every file, and then took some with him when he left.

 

Kyuu looked Jesse and smiled.

"Okay, let's go." she said and walked next to him. "I'll be with you. Always."

 

L was sitting on the computer, playing a game of chess, when Torii returned

"What are you doing?!" She said, trying to frighten him...

"Nothig...." L kept wining.... Maybe i should let him win? he though to himself. He wanted to see that cunt, Zelgius dead.

"And of Marie?" L asked

"What of her?" Torii replied knowing full well what it was about.

"The necklace"

"She has yet to find it, when she does, she'll return to base before destorying it. We shall take it then"

Ruii-Torii was annoyed. YOURE RUDE! she thought. Forgetting L could see into her mind.

Rick woke from his deep sleep. It was dark and cold. Perhaps he had fallen out of his bed or had kicked all the covers off? He made a semi-awake grab, and found nothing but rocky wall. He woke up more fully and looked about him. He was in a dank cell. Stone ran around the walls, apart from a simple gate made of steel bars. He crawled up to them. He grabbed the bars and hoisted himself onto his feet. He almost immediately fell back down but gripped tighter.

"Wha de heell...?" he muttered. He had ment to say "What the hell" but couldnt seem to fit his words to his mouth. He put 2 and 2 together. The food must have been drugged!

He looked out through the bars and saw a guard (asleep) and deduced he must be in a prison of some kind. He didn't have to wait to long to find out whos.

A few minutes later, he heard footsteps appoaching. He peeked out of his darkness at the figure, and withdrew immediately. Karia. He withdrew into the darkest corner and his himself behind his hands. He heard the guard give a start.

"S...sir!" the guard stuttered. Karia stared at him.

"I do hope you weren't asleep Gremley"

"No, no not at all my liege! I swear! no trouble with the prisoner he's been asleep since you bought him in!"

"Show's what you know then doesn't it." He peered into the shadows where Rick hid. "As he appears to be awake."

Karia didn't ask for the key, but simply touched the bars, and caused them to melt into puddles.

"Well my little survivor, I do not believe you shall be surviving much longer. Your friends have been tracked and are being disposed of as we speak." He laughed in a most spiteful way. "Indeed I believe that one of your ex - friends is about half a kilometre above us."

Torii is such a playful cat, but she is rather simple. You see," he continued, "You may realise by now you are not in your world, and are not fully limited by your pathetic laws. Unlike us, you cannot alter things with a flick of your wrists. But we could teach you such things!" His eyes glared a bright red, then returned to a dull grey. "Join us. We may grant your friends liberty, and you can rule when we come of power! We are correcting that has gone askew! We are saving what remains of this world!"

Rick took it all in and replied with two very simple points. He worked his tongue around and reckoned he could talk properly now. "I've already betrayed my friends against my will once. I felt so guilty afterwards. Do you honestly believe I'd betray them willingly?" He gave Karia a filthy look. "And I just want to get myself and my friends home now. I don't care as to what happens here. Yes, it's self centred but I want to see my family. I want to see people I've known all my life. I do not want to see my new friends dead, and my old ones never again." He spat on Karia. "So no, I don't want to join you!"
